They will never do it because George originally vetoed the idea. It would be very disrespectful if they did it now, after he died and can't give his opinion anymore.
This may be my favorite "Canadian Studmuffin" video, (so far at least!) Some very original ideas for enhancing the "Beatles listening experience". I really appreciate your admiration for the Beatles as musicians, but even more, I share, your affection for the "fab four" as extremely creative and warm human beings. Maybe because, like many fans, I "grew up" with them. For better or worse, they are a big part of who I am as a human being.
1. Abbey Road was released last after Let it Be 2. John never met Yoko 3. Strawberry Fields Forever and Penny Lane were on Sgt Pepper's 4. More of George's songs were included on record
Imagine there's no Yoko, I wonder if you can. No need to leave the Beatles. They would've stayed a band. Imagine all the Beatles, playing songs in peace.
I've often wondered too if The End should have been the last track. I love Her majesty but then I think it should've been the end. I don't know I go back-and-forth.
i wish the beatles toured after 1966 it would be cool to see what crazy songs they'd play live, and people would be able to find beatles songs on the internet easily, ANDDD it would be funny to see them in the sgt. pepper's outfits live
I like your wishes. In addition to releasing "Carnival Of Light" , My would be for the 50TH anniversary of the White Album next year, Apple would release the nearly 27 minute version of " Helter Skelter". For Sgt. Pepper this year, I wish Apple would put "Strawberry Fields Forever" and "Penny Lane" (with the trumpet ending, only used on the promo 45 and Capitol Records' "Rarities" album ,never released on CD). "Rock N Roll Music" and "Love Songs" Compilations. Love your videos!
Great Channel Larry! Here are six wishes.. 1. That Old Brown Shoe was omitted from 1967-70 and replaced with Golden Slumber/The End. 2. Also, that the compilation 1962-66 had more tracks from Revolver on it (only 62 mins long), e.g. Here, There and Everywhere, Tomorrow Never Knows, etc. 3. That some tracks had better (shorter) titles, e.g. Long, Long,Long; Good Morning Good Morning; She Said She Said. 4. That more singles & b-sides had appeared on the LP's, e.g. Rain on Revolver, Hey Jude on White Album, etc. 5. That the Magical Mystery Tour tracks had not been originally issued as an EP (in UK), but as part of a proper LP. 6. That Harrison had issued All Things Must Pass LP as a double not a triple.
i wish these songs were back on youtube or released in anniversary/deluxe editions -the "im in love" john demo -carnival of light -it's all too much extended version -"etcetera" paul demo from white album sessions - extended revolution take - 8 minute dig it take - "wake up in the morning" song
9:04 nice Ringo impression😂 I agree with most of your wishes. I would like her majesty to stay, and end the last Beatles album with a good, positive way.
Not in any order but: 1. Strawberry fields and penny lane on sgt pepper 2. finish Now and then 3. John never met Yoko (kinda but not really) 4. Hey jude on white album 5. Paperback writer and rain on revolver 6. George Harrison never smoked cigarettes 7. Beatles Reunion on Live-Aid
George Martin said that he always regretted not giving George more of his songs on the album's but he always gave way to John and Paul, I think they were all caught out in the end about just how good George's writing had become. At the end of the day The Beatles did what they did on their records and that was that and George became a fantastic solo artist in his own right.
I haven't got a top 10 but: 1. Carnival of light and etcetera get released officially. 2. We knew for sure who wrote 'in my life' 3. The long and winding road was officially released in 1970 as how Paul intended 4. Revolution 9 was not on the white album and Not guilty, Junk were instead.
Where to begin? My Beatles' wish list could go on forever, but I'll try to be brief. Firstly, yep, Carnival Of Light (blah ,blah), secondly, let's hear the bloody lot! Whether it's good, bad or indifferent. Let's not have to rely on expensive bootleg albums to hear Beatles' outtakes. Give us every outtake, mix, remix, cough, fart and sneeze the Beatles did. Us loyal fans deserve it! It's a sad fact that probably in about 15 years or so there won't be any Beatles left alive, so let's have it all in their life time. Finally, on a personal note Larry, I wish you weren't retiring from TH-cam in 21 years' time. It's so soon! At such a young age!
Great video Larry! I was thinking you should do a video where the singles released that weren't put on the albums were put on the album, and where you would put them and the songs you would take out. Eg hey Jude and revolution instead of Honey Pie and Revolution 1 on the White Album.
I have the beatles get back book and I've had trouble with the pages coming out which is a pain as its a great book to look through, superb photographs
I totally agree on the switch round to let 'Abbey Road' be the proper final album chronologically rather than 'Let It Be'. I quite like 'Her Majesty' but yes i think it would have been nice to finish on 'The End'. Alternatively, perhaps '...Majesty' could have been a featured earlier in the tracklist instead. Maybe at the start of Side B.
1. My Australian version of Sgt Pepper had the run off thingy, why did the US mess with Beatle Albums ? 2. Again my Australian version of Let it Be has the book, it too started to fall apart very early. I have not looked at it for 15 years in case it comes apart completely. 3. Went to Las Vegas 3 years ago and saw Beatles Love show absolutely incredible, get down there and just be mesmerised. 4.Leave Sgt Pepper as is and have Strawberry Fields and Penny Lane included as a single in the package. I just found a copy of the Let it Be book and tray on Amazon for cheap..no album and it's in really good condition..happy to have it..made in the UK..about $23 with shipping
First, we like you. Second, haven't there been enough remixes and remasters already? Third, I really like those early mixes with vocals on one side and instruments on the other side, they give you real presence as if you were at a concert or whatever. In any case we love the Beatles for their talent, evolution as individuals, their charm, and most songs were engineered very well. I love their novelty. They proved to the world that they were like none others, deserving their place in musical history that was given them. We Love you and keep up the thoughtful narratives. We are fans of HQ entertainment.
Apart from SFF and PL, they should have included IONS (it’s only northern song) by GH but this song was rejected, in the previous album:- revolver, 3 songs by GH were there, in case of SPLHCB only one song was included, this is heartbreaking thing, IONS included fantastic orchestration in line with concept of album, it could have fitted somewhere in the album, pls figure this out.
1. I wish they had completed George’s All Things Must Pass as it is a great song and they very nearly got it. 2.Ringo’s drums were higher in the mix on the early albums. 3. That the intrusive handclaps were removed from It’s All Too Much so Ringo can be heard. 4. That John’s wimpy sounding lead on Get Back were harsher. 5. That Paperback Writer had a solo as it needed one. 6.That Ringo’s drums were louder on Nowhere Man. 7. That we knew for certain who played the drum fills at the end of Dear Prudence. Paul and Ringo have never said but I tend towards Paul. 8. Hope that the whole roof concert (42 mins) Is included in the new Let It Be release. 9. Wish they had recorded a band version of Sour Milk Sea. 10. Wish they had never put Wild Honey Pie, Bungalow Bill, Don’t Pass Me By, Why Don’t We Do It In The Road, Blackbird, Helier Skelter, Mother Nature’s Son or Revolution 9 on The Beatles.
Hi Larry. The loop at the end of Sergeant Pepper was not released everywhere. And the song Revolution was originally called Revolution 2 and was to be released with Revolution 1 as a single. I guess While my guitar gently weeps would be the b side of Hey Jude. Jim Grass is.
Not only was the Sgt. Pepper inner groove removed from the US version, there was also a high pitch note before the inner groove designed to drive your dog crazy. Both the Let It Be album with the book, and the blu-Ray Let It Be film are available on eBay.
Rick Martinez Any DVD or BluRay release of "Let It Be" is a bootleg, though. I think the last official release of "Let It Be" was on Japanese laserdisc many years ago. (Even that may not have been official.)
Yes. You are right. They are not "official". The DVD I bought is high quality, and just a good LIB fix until they get around to releasing the real McCoy. I apologize, I was not attempting to deceive anyone. I made the same comment on the Facebook version of this video, I'll go amend it to "Bootleg" right now.
Excellent job with your list. You are not alone in regards to Harrison. George Martin said his biggest regret was not devoting more time to Harrison's songs. Although, being so "backed up" with songs is what made the album "All Things Must Pass" a masterpiece. Regarding "Her Majesty", that never ceases to annoy me lol. I know it originally got put on the album by mistake but it should've been left off future album pressings. It completely ruins the finale of "The End".
Make a Beatles dream set list. Like if you went to a Beatles concert, by the time they were still touring, of course, what would be the songs you'd like to hear
Can’t really remix the stereo version of Please Please Me as it was recorded on 2 track. I Want To Hold Your Hand/This Boy was the first Beatles single recorded on 4 track. With The Beatles also recorded on 2 track so nothing can be done to improve that stereo mix either. The band did try to record a version of You Really Got A Hold On Me on 4 track but gave up,
I wish Brian Epstein hadn't died in 1967, the Beatles' business/managerial issues wouldn't have become so acrimonious. Also although I don't dislike Yoko, she had too much influence over John. Sometimes I wish they'd never met. But then the story would have been different. So who can say?
first and foremost, i LOVE The Beatles ... while the Beatles were INCREDIBLY creative and changed the landscape of music forever, they would have never accomplished what they did without the tireless efforts of Brian Epstein to get them a recording contract .... please remember that they were turned down by every other record company in the UK, Decca being the most famously noted rejection. and THEN, they were further blessed to be paired up with Sir George Martin as a producer. all the planets were, for a brief time in the history of music, in alignment. . in an interview in '64, responding to a reporter's question about Dick Rowe from Decca records turning down the opportunity to sign The Beatles, Paul replied "I'll bet he's kicking himself now", to which John quickly added "I hope he kicks himself to death" ... boy oh boy do i miss John Lennon.
Nice video Larry! I just want to answer your question. The repeat effect of sgt. pepper is at the very end of the vinyl (at the label). Some automatic turntables never get there , they stop before. You can also hear it in the mono pressing from the mono vinyl box set. I like your videos Larry, so keep on rockin...
The loop ending "Sgt. Pepper" is in the inner groove, and it is very usual, that automatic record players are lifting the arm before. And about my wishes. The first thing that comes into mind is, that if we can't change about it ending, I wish at lest it had not ended with all those law suits, that were so destructive. I agree with you, that it would have been fine, if "Abbey Road" was released after "Let It be". That combined with my wishes. Think about it. Instead of all that bitterness, Beatles going public shortly after releasing "Abbey Road", and with a smile saying: "Well, this is it. We made a perfect travel in music from A to Z, so here you got it, this is it." Then departing as friends. That takes me a step back in the story. I wish they never met Allen Klein. If I think abut it, I probably have lots of other wishes. But that's what's comes into mind right now.
I wish the Beatles released a Box set based on era's of their music. Like Psychedelic Beatles years Late 66 though right before they went to India. with all of the great music from that era from Revolver to Pepper to Yellow Sub (prob ending with Lady Madonna) with all of the singles and b-Sides. With a book about that period in their lives...with millions of pictures...
Hey you should see the Beatles Love show in Las Vegas. Its the best live show I've ever watched and I've never felt so alive. Its the perfect thing for a Beatles fan with remixed tracks and amazing acrobatics that would be similar to that movie you're talking about!
Wish List. 1. JOHN LENNON wasn't Murdered. 2. Dirty Mac Supergroup did more. 3. Revolver - PAPERBACK WRITER. RAIN included. 3. Strawberry fields on Pepper 4. Hey Jude. Lady Madonna. WHITE ALBUM. 5.Don't Let me Down. All Things Must Past. On LET IT BE. 6.ABBEY ROAD was released last. 7.BEATLES Didn't Sue One Another. 8. All Four BEATLES made surprise Appearance on Grammy Award show . Imagine that. 9. BEATLES Stayed the Course and allowing Side projects. 10. BEATLES PLAYING AT ALBERT HALL SAY 1981 . A REUNION. WITH ERIC CLAPTON. Additional Guitar. BILLY PRESTON - Organ, Electric Piano. Nicky Hopkins Piano . Jim Keltner- Drums. Opening Act. James Taylor with Specail guest Harry Nilson. BILLY PRESTON 6.
My top ten wish list 10. I wish The White Album had Not Guilty and What’s The New Mary Jane (but the songs on the album are great) 09. I wish John and George never died 08. I wish that the Beatles got back together 07. I wish that the song Hold Me Tight was not on With The Beatles 06. I wish that the American version of Revolver was the same as the UK version 05. I wish that some throwaway songs from the Esher Demos were on some albums 04. I wish the original Let It Be had the song Don’t Let Me Down on it 03. I wish that there were a few more George Harrison lead vocal songs on A Hard Day’s Night 02. I wish that some songs on The Early Beatles album were placed differently on the album 01. I wish that (just like you said) the gibberish was on the USA / Canadian versions of Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band
I have an older automatic turntable and the needle on mine automatically lifts up about halfway from the end of one side of an album and the very end loop, but some (like Mine) have an adjustment knob to pick where in the final groove the needle lifts up if that helps.
Hey Larry, I've got to say, Side 1 of 'Help' epitomizes the 'Beatles' sound. Also, I've got an idea for a future video. Could you review...not necessarily rank...Beatles fashion from their beginning in leather through their mod look, to their long(er) hair hippie look? I think it's fascinating they they evolved into so many looks (and sounds!) in only a few years! Also, can you work the word 'about' into your videos more? I love how you Canadians say 'abooot'.
Wish:- 1... they had done Esher like demo's for every album 2 ...They had used more of their own compositions on the early albums 3 ... Used more of George Harrison's songs 'Not Guilty', 'All Things Must Pass', 'Let It Down' etc 4 ... Been more selective with the chosen cover versions (love 'Nothin' Shakin', 'Three Cool Cats', Lonesome Tears In My Eyes etc) 5 ... They had stayed together (imagine the great solo classics but Beatle-ized) 6 ...Imagine if they had been the first do a televised 'Unplugged' 7 ... Brian Epstien had not died 8 ... Had continued to play live (even if only selective appearances) 9 ... Release all the 'Let it Be' sessions 10 ... They had got back together before Lennon was killed... Because I'm not a fan of the medley I quite like the that 'Her Majesty' is the last song on the album
The reason the stereo mixes weren’t that great in the records was because advanced panning pots were not yet created, instead the tracks would have to be set to L, R or centre
1. i wish The Beatles would have fixed that first harmony on "Yes It Is" (if you wear red toNIGHT!) - still so painful to listen to .... Lennon abandoned the track and until the Past Masters were released in the '80's, the song was only released in the USA ... on the Anthology version, the track was cleverly mixed to start with the original demo which was cross-mixed into the full band version, thus avoiding the very uncomfortable "toNIGHT" ... 2. i wish that Phil Spector never put his dirty little fingers on "Let It Be" album ... . other than that i'm good ...
Why did you EVER point out that "Yes it Is" harmony, oh my god. I've NEVER listened closed to it before. It sounds sounds like the harmonies of the combined taped just ruined the chord and made some dissonance. I'll never be able to unhear it. Damn you! (Jk cheers and hope you've been alright since this comment 4 years ago)
Hey Larry great video again. I have been watching for months now and you even answered my question on ask larry graves. A suggestion for a nrw video would be top 10 elo songs. They are a very underrated band and have a very beatle-like sound to them. Also are you a fan of 80s bands like dire straits and supertramp?
Agree with you about Her Majesty. I think young people know too much about the Beatles; so much so that I think some enjoyment's lost e.g. "I don't like a particular song because it's a cover... " Perhaps older fans think the same but I'd never heard it before the Internet came along. I wish the Beatles recorded a rock'n'roll album with Elvis.
One reason the earlier Beatles stereo mixes sound odd (well, at least compared to modern stereo mixing) is simply because they didn't have that many tracks to work with when recording, so multiple instruments and voices had to be piled up onto each track. With an album like "Please Please Me," they were only working with two tracks, which is why all the vocals are on one side and all the instruments are on the other. Oddly enough, their stereo mixes never bothered me, for the most part.
Maybe they release the Let It Be Blu-Ray on the 50th Anniversary in 2020. Carnival of Light was a track in the style like Revolution 9 . It's a avant garde music mix with drums and sound effects. It was recorded in the sessions of Penny Lane. I love your videos, Larry, you're funny, talentfull. I watched all of your Beatles videos in a whole evening.
I wish that Don't Let Me Down, The Ballad of John and Yoko, and Old Brown Shoe have made it into Let It Be instead of Dig It, Maggie Mae and One After 909
Always wish that John and Paul could have done an acoustic duo album/tour. Wish Paul would write and record with Denny Laine again - maybe with Jeff Lynne. Also hope Paul will record another completely solo McCartney III.
I think Let It Be... Naked was intended to accompany a release of the film on DVD but it never happened. I don't think Paul would try to stop it coming out. Apart from anything else, in that film you've got the grumpy one, the grumpy one, the grumpy one, and the talented one. Who comes out of it looking bad is subjective. No disrespect to George Harrison, but if he'd had any decent unused songs, I'd have happily knocked Savoy Truffle or Piggies off the White Album to make room for them. It's not like anyone was stopping him finishing Not Guilty - they did about 100 takes, or something. On the Pepper pressing I grew up with, the gibberish starts before the needle hits the locked groove at the end, so there's a bit you only hear once and then the rest of it repeats until you take the needle off. Except we had an automatic turntable back then too, so you'd just hear that first bit before the arm lifted. (The locked groove is the very end of the groove - basically a circle a few millimetres outside the label.)The story goes that Her Majesty was snipped out of the medley (which is why it starts with the electric guitar vamp) and the engineer left it at the end of the master tape when he was assembling the LP, and that's how it ended up coming out because people liked it. I've always liked it too, but each to their own.I would love them to release remixes. But you just know the results are going to be (ahem) mixed. The Yellow Submarine remixes were mostly awesome - hopefully there will be a fully remixed Pepper amongst the 50th anniversary stuff. But I don't know whether these would become the versions I'd listen to ever after.Hey, I'm talking too much. Sorry.
They can't do much for Please Please Me and With the Beatles. They only had two tracks to work with, and the whole rhythmic part was mixed on a single track
I want Apple to release the 2009 Mono Remasters as individual releases on CD and Digital platforms. I agree that Let it Be should be released on bluray. I want the entire Shea Stadium performance to be restored and put up on TH-cam by Apple. I always hoped that Paul and maybe Geoff Emerick could give analysis on all of the tracks that the Beatles did, in a TH-cam series or something. I never found the type of analysis in terms of who wrote what, how it was recorded, and other stories about the songs to be comprehensive enough.
maybe they could release the circus de soleli love show for limited release in theaters that'd be cool for the beatles music in theaters or maybe over the course of a few years release all the Beatles movies in theaters id love to see Hard days night on the big screen
Although it did not hurt, I wished that they wouldn't have made diferent UK and US versions. Also I wonder what would have happened if Pete Best would not have been replaced by Ringo (nothing against Ringo, just a thought). Right about more Harrison songs. Nice what ifs...
I noticed something too the poster u have of the Beatles of all 5 of them walking across the street I this notice the guy in the middle has the shoes on but on the album he doesn't have no shoes on I'm kind of confused about that because I do remember a story of him having no shoes and they thought that he was dead but the poster you have he has you so how'd you get??
Hey Larry I heard you have Spotify. If you have the time check out the album "white pepper" by ween. It's a wonderful album and I think you might like it. I love it.
2 of my top wishes: Of course, John Lennon to have never been shot. Strawberry Fields and Penny Lane added to Sgt. Pepper. Those 2 songs would have fit perfectly on that album.
I wish John never met Yoko, I wish Brian Epstein didn't die that soon and I wish Mark David Chapman would have never been born. And I would have loved to see them live but unfortunately I was born 29 years after the breakup. -.-
I wish Paul and Ringo could check out "The Magical Mystery of Abbey Road" on my channel. That would be awesome. I also wish John and George were still with us. Even better.
I wish Brian didn't overdose in 67. I wish John didn't go to that art exhibit in 66. I wish Paul and John would have respected George's songwriting abilities and gave us 2 to 4 more songs per album. I wish MDC's dad had used a condom. I wish that George never started smoking. I wish that the insane asylum had better security and so did Friar Park. I wish that whether or not the Beatles broke up that they could've reunited sometime between the 70's & 90's or so. I wish George Martin was still alive even though he did live a full life. My final wish is that the ever so sad and beautiful Concert for George would have to wait.
You're such a good TH-camr :D
You're such a good commenter! :D Thank you.
One of your oddest, sweetest and most touching videos. Terrific wishes.
I hope that Paul and Ringo finish John's track "Now and Then" that they planned on doing for Anthology. Such a beautiful track.
They will never do it because George originally vetoed the idea. It would be very disrespectful if they did it now, after he died and can't give his opinion anymore.
Are you kidding, I LOVE the early stereo mixes. I have no problem at all with drums appearing out of one channel, etc. Adds to the charm to me.

Brilliant video. Any clue if u are going to do such a video for other bands aswell
I just got every Beatles vinyl records!
And I'm only 13
That movie theatre idea is actually a really good one, I'd certainly pay to see that

The North American version didn't have that repeat effect at the end only in UK
From Memes 2 Dremes what didn't go on?
Dynamite Studios probably that 30 second song, ‘Her Majesty’
Sgt. Pepper runout groove was not on the US LP release. It was only on the UK LP
@@JPage-wl5em "Her Majesty" was not listed on the back of the original LPs

10. Wish they had never put Wild Honey Pie, Bungalow Bill, Don’t Pass Me By, Why Don’t We Do It In The Road, Blackbird, Helier Skelter, Mother Nature’s Son or Revolution 9 on The Beatles.
it would be cool if strawberry fields and penny lane were released on sgt. pepper's, and i can't live my life without listening to carnival of light
I loved how Jinx interrupted you.
It has a high pitched beeeeeeeep and it has the beginning of when the needle comes off, and then it goes on forever.
Hi Larry. The loop at the end of Sergeant Pepper was not released everywhere. And the song Revolution was originally called Revolution 2 and was to be released with Revolution 1 as a single. I guess While my guitar gently weeps would be the b side of Hey Jude. Jim Grass is.
You should do a top ten beatles singles
Good idea, thank you. :)
I agree with most of your wishes, but I always thought that "Her Majesty" was a perfect ending to the album. To me it's like a P. S. at the end.
It was only on the UK version and Beatles Rarties and CD version of Pepper
3. Strawberry fields on Pepper
4. Hey Jude. Lady Madonna. WHITE ALBUM.
5.Don't Let me Down. All Things Must Past. On LET IT BE.
6.ABBEY ROAD was released last.
7.BEATLES Didn't Sue One Another.
8. All Four BEATLES made surprise
Appearance on Grammy Award show . Imagine that.
9. BEATLES Stayed the Course and allowing Side projects.
10. BEATLES PLAYING AT ALBERT HALL SAY 1981 . A REUNION.
WITH ERIC CLAPTON. Additional Guitar.
BILLY PRESTON - Organ, Electric Piano.
Nicky Hopkins Piano .
Jim Keltner- Drums.
Opening Act. James Taylor with
Specail guest Harry Nilson.
BILLY PRESTON
6.
My top ten wish list
10. I wish The White Album had Not Guilty and What’s The New Mary Jane (but the songs on the album are great)
09. I wish John and George never died
08. I wish that the Beatles got back together
07. I wish that the song Hold Me Tight was not on With The Beatles
06. I wish that the American version of Revolver was the same as the UK version
05. I wish that some throwaway songs from the Esher Demos were on some albums
04. I wish the original Let It Be had the song Don’t Let Me Down on it
03. I wish that there were a few more George Harrison lead vocal songs on A Hard Day’s Night
02. I wish that some songs on The Early Beatles album were placed differently on the album
From what I heard, the loop at the end of Sgt. Pepper only works on record players that don't have a needle that automatically come off
If ifs and buts were coconuts,..we'd all have lots of piña coladas.
I wish that Don't Let Me Down, The Ballad of John and Yoko, and Old Brown Shoe have made it into Let It Be instead of Dig It, Maggie Mae and One After 909
You're such an amazing TH-camr
Sorry.
Listen to fgth.born to run side classic. Now on to Abby Road..vinyl
They can't do much for Please Please Me and With the Beatles. They only had two tracks to work with, and the whole rhythmic part was mixed on a single track
You my Friend are a hoot!
That cat is so disrespectful 😆😆
I wish they had toured the white album...
I never found the type of analysis in terms of who wrote what, how it was recorded, and other stories about the songs to be comprehensive enough.
maybe they could release the circus de soleli love show for limited release in theaters that'd be cool for the beatles music in theaters or maybe over the course of a few years release all the Beatles movies in theaters id love to see Hard days night on the big screen
they should make a dvd on the making of sgt pepper on the 50 ann. beatleman my name is larry to
jinx is back : p
Yeah I think George should have had more songs, especially on their later records.
Hello Larry! Do you think Strawberry Fields Forever should be in the new Sgt. Pepper's album that will be released this year in its 50th anniversary?
It's going to be...so why not? :)
I wish that I had purchased their C.D.s sooner
Although it did not hurt, I wished that they wouldn't have made diferent UK and US versions. Also I wonder what would have happened if Pete Best would not have been replaced by Ringo (nothing against Ringo, just a thought). Right about more Harrison songs. Nice what ifs...
Cool video Larry 👍
I noticed something too the poster u have of the Beatles of all 5 of them walking across the street I this notice the guy in the middle has the shoes on but on the album he doesn't have no shoes on I'm kind of confused about that because I do remember a story of him having no shoes and they thought that he was dead but the poster you have he has you so how'd you get??
Jinx decides she just can't take it anymore at 9:06 :P
In case you're wondering about the runoff groove, it was only included on the British version, as Capitol records just likes to be annoying like that.
love your channel!
You should do top ten early beatles songs(1962-64)
I miss the 80 and 90 hits
I like Her majesty, but I would have put in between Bathroom window and Golden slumbers. It kind of ruins that powerful ending, I agree.
And I also agree on giving George more songs. 100%
I would love to hear the story of when you first heard of lennons death.
That is already posted in my Beatles playlist...just go to my front page and type in John Lennon in the search and you should find it.
Canadian Studmuffin thank you so much!
Capitol Records' Sgt Pepper didn't have that ending. Capitol did release it on 1980's Rarities.
Thanks for letting me know. :)
Welcome!
love ur profile pic
Thanks! Mine or Larry's?
It wasn't on my album I got in '74
I think if John had not been shot they would have reunited in the mid 90s for the anthology. I wish Paul owned the rights to The Beatles songs.
Hey Larry I heard you have Spotify. If you have the time check out the album "white pepper" by ween. It's a wonderful album and I think you might like it. I love it.
2 of my top wishes:
Of course, John Lennon to have never been shot.
Strawberry Fields and Penny Lane added to Sgt. Pepper. Those 2 songs would have fit perfectly on that album.
bamamgr1 : Martin confessed this as his biggest mistake.
Never got a booklet in Let It Be
It wasn't a booklet, it was an actual book.
:)! I LOVE UR VIDS!
This is off topic but your cat is so cute
John Lennon/George Harrison still alive and Strawberry fields and Penny lane being on Sgt Pepper.
GREAT!
I wish John never met Yoko, I wish Brian Epstein didn't die that soon and I wish Mark David Chapman would have never been born.
And I would have loved to see them live but unfortunately I was born 29 years after the breakup. -.-
Rene_1904 it’s hard to believe but Yoko inspired many great songs by John and the Beatles
And also, the death of Epstein affected their lives. So if he was alive, many beautiful songs of them would probably not exist right now.
I wish Paul and Ringo could check out "The Magical Mystery of Abbey Road" on my channel. That would be awesome. I also wish John and George were still with us. Even better.
#1 is Let it Be on Blue Ray/DVD easy choice, John can never happen so wishing is for not.
Everyones forgetting about george
