Hi! I went with the base because I wanted narrower-sized planks and preferred the look of smaller bevels. I thought the wider signature planks would look too large in my smaller space. Also, the base was about half the price of the signature and still had an impressive 20 mil wear layer, which is sufficient for my needs. Hope that helps!
Hi Stephanie! I did not use an underlayment pad. The planks have a pad underneath them, and I don’t believe Flooret recommends a separate underlayment. Hi! I haven’t had any issues with socks snagging or with discoloration. The seams are all very flush with very little space between the planks. I also haven’t experienced any dirt or debris getting stuck in the embossing. Even though the floors are light, they’re super easy to clean even when they get dirty. Hope that helps! 😊
