honestly, i don't really care if they want to monetize on it, or how they do it. But people are allowed to voice their opinions on it and this slow deliberate move to a paid nocapshow is kind of a dick move funnelling people into a paid service unknowingly, one that also tracks your data pretty heavily for that matter. Backlash and audience dropout had to be expected.
Could turn out they made more ad revenue here then subscriptions brings in over there, btw.
No way I will ever pay for a podcast. :D
