Wrong. Jack does not talk about raping women in the book 'American Hardcore; he simply described himself as a “violent, robbing, gravedigging rapist” - HUGE difference. You do know the words "Rape" and "Rapist" have many meanings, don't you? Here are his exact words from American Hardcore (book): “And me being a violent, robbing, gravedigging rapist was part of my world. And that was like, ‘well, this is what we do, man. Yeah that chick passed out and I pissed in her face. So what?". Nowhere does he say he raped any women, or anyone.

People ought to STFU and let em speak. Crowds are rude. Always have been and always will be. There's always a few rotten apples in there to spoil the bunch. Love all three of these guys and have been listening to their groups for over 42yrs. T.S.O.L, Black Flag/Circle Jerks, Dead Kennedy's. Seen all of em many many times. Met and hung out with Jello & band back 1981. S.F Bay Area HC Punk Rocker for life. SPR !
Never was a fan of NOFX, but I’ve got nothing against them. They are a typical Skate-punk band to me like just about every Epitaph or Fat Wreckords (am I spelling right?) band. Maybe that’s “profiling”, but seemingly all the bands I hear are radio-warp-tour-friendly “skate-punk”, ready for commercial globalized distribution to the masses. Read Eric Davidson’s book “We Never Learn” he writes it much better than I. Now the Cramps and New Bomb Turk releases on Epitaph are so Sick! As for NOFX I used to listen to them in my high school years, saw them at least once. They toured a ton and were a hard working punk band. I’m pretty sure Fat Mike is a millionaire by now. Now the Queers, I love, as well as The Spits: who did a split single with NOFX. Jello Biafra was there from the beginning when the Screamers and Crime were playing, and the number of L.A. and S.F. Punks were few. And while they appreciated Detroit/Cleveland and New York/England Punk. They had their own original musical performance ideas and they put them to work on stage and on the street they were creators of their very own thrift-bomb fashion scene, not just aping Iggy and the Johnny’s. Merch hardly existed, you had to make your own.
Society is in such a tailspin that no one knows how to behave anymore. Everyone has an opinion and there’s an antagonist on every side of it. We’re further apart than we’ve ever been in this culture. More rules, more problems. Nothing can be solved without unifying, and I don’t see even a hint of unity in our society.
To have these guys all together sharing about anything punk rock it like having a punk theology book right in front of you. These guys were from ground zero of the punk rock movement. Still are. True punk rock through and through. I owe my teen life to these guys. I wouldn't have made through with out their music energy and strength.

I was at a concert in Japan where NOFX played and were openly racist to the Japanese audience (who were paying for their air tickets and hotel rooms). I went home that night and threw away their music. Scumbags.
I was bummed on NOFX for about a week after those comments, and i think that's fair, bottom line is, the guy that shot those people is evil NOFX is far from evil.
I was there. The show was Mike talking for 3 min. then playing one song. It wasn't his best effort on stage. After the comment, the folks there in Vegas seemed a bit surprised... A few boos, and some several dozen people leaving. It wasn't Mikes best moment... Honestly, I think that it was really tasteless and poorly timed along with an uninspired performance. Mike himself said they we're not headlining, the Bosstones were... NOFX was just "clean up".
I don't remember who said it, originally, and I'm paraphrasing here, but there's a phrase: "I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend your right to say it." That pretty much sums up my feelings on this situation. I consider myself a liberal, but liberal censorship is a bigger oxymoron than Leftover Crack.
also, i used to think inwas a liberal, until i realized what the modern definition has come to mean. I am more of a classical liberal. or extreem Libertarian, which i was surprized to find is on the right side. That government which governs the least. governs the best!
Fat mike said something inappropriate?. I saw NOFX at Pozo saloon with TSOL and the Misfits and mike asked a little kid sitting on his dad’s shoulders if he knew what chili dogging was. Oh the humanity.
If youre going to play in corporate music genre like punk you need to learn corporate responsibility. Sponsors will pull their money if you scare them with loose talk.
I can't believe they spoke about the thing for 7 minutes and the thought that NOFX were in Vegas and at least part of the audience's lives were directly impacted by the shooting didn't even cross their mind. It wasn't only an abstract thing, like if it happened in some faraway island where it's just a thing you have an opinion about, no matter how right or strong. They couldn't find an audience more likely to be hurt by a joke on the tragedy, those were people who probably knew some victims, who lived the aftermath first hand, not just PC punks that want to be offended
Jello seems to be a bit confused here. Also Keith saying he's 63yo and has tough skin and thats why what dude said didn't bother him is a little ridiculous. First of all he wasn't attacking you, so the fact that YOU have tough skin is irrelevant. And secondly, being 63 and "worldly" doesn't mean your moral values should be anymore accepting of asshole statements. Do I think NOFX should of been canceled?? No. But I think Keith should show some fucking empathy towards the people and their families that were effected by that shooting. He forgets he has made a lot of public statements in the past about similar situations where he wasn't getting shouted down, and sang a different tune. This seems to be pandering. How very punk rock of him.
So many salty NOFX fans out there being total apologists for the fucked up comment made by NOFX. Fuck killing innocent people, Fuck joking about their deaths. Nothing punk rock about that at all. Furthermore, the promoters HAD to pull NOFX, otherwise, just imagine all the vendors and other bands that probably would have pulled out of the festival.
Lol at him blaming wokeness at colleges on Christian conservatives. It's not the right complaining about microagressions and what's being taught in classes.

Why can't Keith, Jello or Jack state what the hell Fat Mike said? And it being an uncomfortable topic is exactly why it should be discussed - whatever it may be - rather than taking the snowflake way out and asking for "nice" questions.

Jack Is Short Winded Here Like a Breath Of Fresh air,,,,,,,,,,,,, He Makes The Most Sense In a Few Words !
It’s not Christians that are the problem at all; it’s idiots & psychos; it’s not Christians that are gang banging, playing knock out games; selling drugs & murdering “quite the opposite”; Jello just doesn’t want to feel like he’s going to have to answer for anything; but it’s always easy until it directly affects you or your family.
Satanists blame everything on God.
I'm guessing thinking is not one of your strengths
nofx and fat mike have always been offensive and its always been fine. nothing is/was ever off limits with them
replace subversive with offensive. also you are wrong, anything remotely right wing is off limits to them. if it isn't explicitly left wing than its off limits
Always been an idiot.
this whole thing is so true wow
3:37 (talking about Hobby Lobby) "What an easy chain to boycott there was nothing there for me to buy" lmao
I laughed when he called out hobby lobby I was thinking he was gonna call out chick fil a next
Nyna from the VKTMS said that Jello Biafra ran them out of the SF punk scene for her song 100% White Girl. So Jello Biafra is a lying hypocrite in my book. He was the original PC police.
Nice Kieth, Jello& Jackalllegends for Punk! AS WELL AS MIKE AND NOFX!
What did Mike say? sorry out the loop
"I mean, that sucked," frontman Fat Mike said of the shooting as he played a punk festival in Las Vegas last week. "But at least they were country fans and not punk rock fans."
As audience members voiced disapproval, he added: "You were all thinking it."

please dont kill me, who are these 3 guys exactly ?
a bunch of has-beens
@@bigstomp7943 yeah but honestly wich band ?
@@sirundying Jello Biafra - Dead Kennedy’s, Keith Morris - black flag and circle jerks, Jack Grisham - TSOL.
@@spud_grrrl thanks and merry christmas
They became what they fought...
You didn’t get the point if you think they became PC
@@spud_grrrl And you are out of touch with reality if you deny that they have.
"Aww, someone thinks the "lefties" and "righties" are different groups; isn't that adorable?"
Man. Doug Stanhope really ruined my ability to be sympathetic to people that can't take a joke.
Doug Stanhope is the man.
Doug Stanhope is one of those guys that's changed everything.
Sig hail to that 😆
I forget... what did Mike say?
Fat Mike said "At least they were country fans" when referring to the victims of the Las Vegas shooting.
What did he say?
Jello’s takes and posturing are the perfect American version of how John Lydon does it
Keith Morris always make's me laugh
What did Mike even say?
Jello is a sack of hot breeze. Morris is just a regular guy like most of us that’s why he makes the most sense
Aww right on!
I can't stand Jello, he just has a punchable face and his fat ass just sounds so annoying, he knows everything.
Your comment is a sack of hot fart , get a job at a sideshow
I cant believe punk fans are still uploading footage that looks like it’s 2009. SHEESH
ha!
"whinny" lmao
It's DIY hahahahahaha
Why does it matter in this case?
Those guys in the audience apparently think that the louder they shout in agreement or disagreement the more weight their personal opinion carries
Jacks got a point.
Jack is a member of the Communist Party, watch the documentary Urban Struggle: Battle Of The Cuckoo's Nest to see proof.
@@markymarkinson7255 Okay, so? Punk is hard left anyways, you're either an anarchist or a communist in punk
Well they are and were free to say whatever they want. But don't cry about the consequences
It was Melvin that made the comment.
Society is dead. This one is, at least.
To have these guys all together sharing about anything punk rock it like having a punk theology book right in front of you. These guys were from ground zero of the punk rock movement. Still are. True punk rock through and through. I owe my teen life to these guys. I wouldn't have made through with out their music energy and strength.
Amen 🙏
I kind of thought Jello liked country when I heard rawhide I like country music also
How come there is so much conservatives complaining about a joke
"get back on stage"
"I'm asking QUESTIONS!"
They were all cheering when he said “i wasn’t offended, i got thick skin” but the cheering stopped when he said “all these politically correct pussies”😂
kIETH mORRIS 63 AND STILL pUNK! A Huge part of Punk Rock! I am 53 and still aPunk I have not been in any famous bands but had alot of fun in a band me and the drummer started and were popular playing keg parties inHS with D>A.M.M. (Drunks Agsinst MADD Mothers in the mid to late 80's I later Promoted a club in Zooport the beach and had punk shows every Fri. Not as great as you are used to but good . Had US Bombs with Duane Peters (the Pro Skateboarder 2-3 times . One Hit Wonder with Dan Root multip;e times He is also with the Adolescence. Also Joy Ride with Steve Soto also with The Adolesence. Burning Groove, Goldfingers 1st OC show I got their hookup from a blind date with a Porn Star. She was wearing their ztshirt and said I should have her friends band play . I said have them send a demo and if they are good I will. They sent a demo with a print sbout them and maybe a t shirtfrom their label. They sounded good and I booked them. A month later my very good looking X pulled up to give me a ride playing them and singing every word. I asked where did you get that it is zgoldfinger they just p;layed my Friday at Thunderbird! She replied its not mine they are on the radio on KROQ . ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZRight on it is great to have good bands get sighned many I think should be do not . Wish I saw The Circlr Jerks I almost did at House Of Blues in Anahiem but it was canceled. I did get to see Motorhead in Anahiem and speak with him for an hour at a topless bar drinking a few bourben and cokes. I RECOMENDED IT When he said must be someplace better thsn this going on asround here and only saw shrugged shoulders from the others.
What is all this about?
I'm pretty sure it was Melvin that said he was glad it was country fans. I'm like 99% sure.
I was at a concert in Japan where NOFX played and were openly racist to the Japanese audience (who were paying for their air tickets and hotel rooms). I went home that night and threw away their music. Scumbags.
One thing i don't like is hearing them repeat back the official story of the Vegas shooting. Anyone can see that was different.
I was bummed on NOFX for about a week after those comments, and i think that's fair, bottom line is, the guy that shot those people is evil NOFX is far from evil.
They hate what doesn't represent them. That's still hate. Punk rockers are sissies. Always have been, always will be.
I remember when punk rock was about less government and not towing the line for the party that wants the most
It was anti government. Now it's all left wing big government. It's so weird..
I fukin agree with you. Keith and Jello, you're fuckin right about that!
Viva nofx
Right on
I was there.
So he was being a whiny bitch and then resorted to making jokes on a bunch of people getting shot up. Say it like it is.
I don't remember who said it, originally, and I'm paraphrasing here, but there's a phrase:
"I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend your right to say it."
That pretty much sums up my feelings on this situation. I consider myself a liberal, but liberal censorship is a bigger oxymoron than Leftover Crack.
AINT NO SUCH THING AS LEFTOVER CRACK
Same here. and that principal is one of the founding ideas of our nation.
also, i used to think inwas a liberal, until i realized what the modern definition has come to mean. I am more of a classical liberal. or extreem Libertarian, which i was surprized to find is on the right side. That government which governs the least. governs the best!
Thanks you! Would love to see more from your weekend. Wife and I wanted to be there!
thelowe1313 I may be uploading more tonight. Last night was amazing... Definitely already one of the best shows I've been to!
Keith is the GOAT
I remember when it meant something to be punk, now we're having campfire chats... wtf happened
Jeff jeff maybe if campfire chats happened earlier in punk rock more of the social change the scene preaches would've been greater
Sin Caos sounds like hippy shit to me
Jeff jeff then you are an idiot, if you really believe in some world where even punks can’t have a chat then you’re in the wrong place pal
such a pizza cutter punk you are.
See this is fucked. Punx have always campfired but the scene is so sterile, I am sure shows would happen in showers if the equipment was waterproof
Jello was fucking awesome at punk in drublic! and nofx fans were pissed
How very punk rock of him.
shooting? what shooting?
So many salty NOFX fans out there being total apologists for the fucked up comment made by NOFX. Fuck killing innocent people, Fuck joking about their deaths. Nothing punk rock about that at all. Furthermore, the promoters HAD to pull NOFX, otherwise, just imagine all the vendors and other bands that probably would have pulled out of the festival.
Lol at him blaming wokeness at colleges on Christian conservatives. It's not the right complaining about microagressions and what's being taught in classes.
The right has been going after shit forever. Please.
True lol I have more liberal beliefs partly my town influenced that but I like old school liberals like George Carlin or the way Jello seemed when he was baby Jello I don't like wokeness
@@chuckabbate5924 Cancel culture may have been created and nurtured by conservatives but in the past. And lets face it, the left have since picked it up and ran with it. They are now the authoritarian control freaks to revolt against.
Why can't Keith, Jello or Jack state what the hell Fat Mike said? And it being an uncomfortable topic is exactly why it should be discussed - whatever it may be - rather than taking the snowflake way out and asking for "nice" questions.
They spent 8 minutes on this topic what the fuck do you mean taking the snowflake option
Also jello literally said what Mike said
My 2 favs!
I boycotted hobby lobby because they wouldn’t let me buy cans bc i was 2 cents short. TWO CENTS
Jello, I normally like your speeches, but sometimes you're an anachronism of the Regressive Left... Keep doing you, though!
Because the white nationalist cult called the Republican Party is benefiting us so well.
@2:03 "punk bullying" Brian Deneke! He was murdered by a lil wimpy jock in his car!
These dudes became the hippies they hated.
grow up
How?
hippies is punks
They never hated hippies. FALSE ASSUMPTION AND PUNK STEREOTYPING. fuck "punk" rock. There is no rule book. Go to London and whine about it.
Jello WAS a hippie before punk was a thing.
I love Fat Mike, i love NOFX and i really don't like country fans :D
Oh it's the DJ from GTA 5 lol
you're such a pussy
Q: How many washed up punk rock icons does it take to change a light bulb?A: Zero, Washed up punk rock icons can't change anything.
This is the best comment!
It's so true. Who cares what a bunch of bums think about our current social fabric. They have chosen a life that has prevented them from "adulting" and keeps them grinding away to pay rent/bills.
charles mortensen - More people care what these great artists think - than what some low-IQ, Reich-Whinging, Mark Deuce-fan-nobody thinks.
But go ahead and surprise me. Book a gig - and see how many other knucle-draggers show-up to receive your dubious wisdom.
They've accomplished and created - plenty. You simply spew garbage on the internet.
Nofx is my favorite band of all time. The huge backlash they received is absurd. Sure it might've been a bit tasteless, but that's just their sense of humor. Anyone who actually knows anything at all about Nofx would know it was just a joke, they weren't literally praising the vegas massacre.
They suck. Total posers
Hi Jello. Wasnt that court battle you had back in the against Tipper GORE (ya know, Al's wife)? Not exactly a staunch "right winger".
NOFX got what they deserved. They are foot soldiers for this tyrannical neoliberal nanny state and they voted for it. I don't feel sorry for them
Awesome
Great points
I think the monitor is on fire.
I thought Jack hated Jello?
Where’d you see that?
