Liked your review, on those fans. You can use distill white vinegar to clean out the scale from the hard water. Use a 50/50 of vinegar and water and run it untill it starts misting again.

The way these work are buy using your skin as an evaporative surface area, that's why it's marketed as a personal a.c., this would never cool a small area much less a room. For these types of devices to actually work they would need a recirculating water pump/lines and a built-in evaporative surface area such as coils or wool fibers.

I was actually gonna buy one but since it said it isn’t designed to cool the whole room I don’t want it anymore bc that’s what I wanted it for pffft. Also the electricity that it will use is way too much.
