Memorable scene from a great western... Rio Bravo. An all-star cast and a script that combined action, humor and romance helped make this movie a must-watch for any fan of the genre. Thanks for posting it. Mike "oldwestguy" Dodge
High Noon was entertaining too But I liked Rio Bravo a lot better. You gotta admit Rio Bravo was a whole lotta fun to watch :) The humor in it is great too LOL
Rio Bravo was much more optimistic than High Noon. That is what John Wayne wanted and I like optimistic movies better. Where in High Noon, Gary Cooper couldn't get really anyone to help him, here John Wayne has a butt load of people helping him.
This isn't just a classic but it's also the coolest gun battle EVER!
I love this movie. Hollywood's Westerns at their finest.
One of the most badass and coolest scene in cinema's history!

@Frank Castle That's a great comment Frank. I love this type of insight. I posted this clip years ago, but I never read the comments before.
Feathers is probably one of the most sassy women in any western film. A big reason the film is so wild.
Un chef d'œuvre
27 cuts in 138 seconds, many to disguise transitions between closeups and wide angle shots, and a couple to repeat action. Worth studying.
Great shot
Geez i miss John Wayne movies....

Obra maestra
LOL... give me the realism of High Noon any day.
"Realism" bruh people just walked into bullets like 5 times in High Noon.
You mean the abundance of cliches in High Noon?
Who is that lady? Just watched her in wagon train.

Angie Dickinson. Turns out she apparently was a John Wayne super-fan before working with him here and was almost fangirling being on set with him.
