Not just the drivetrain, but he’s gonna blow out the transmission and explode the engine too, maybe even start a piston space program and be the first guy to get a mechanical part to another galaxy.
Jokes apart, it's too bad they didn't made a series of funny little clips at the end of each episode with Itsuki ans his "mighty" AE-85 trying every goddamn street racing tecnique. It would have been epic to see his own version of "Fujiwara Zone". I bet he would have disappeared for real in a blink of an eye, only to see his Levin stuck under the guardrail at the end of the corner, of course.
Initial D wasn't adapted following the manga 100% and yet it's still good, because the whole Initial D world is great. I firmly believe it's the only anime that needs filler.
@@akalinerally3299 I totally agree. And as always, the manga in kinda... more serious than the anime (I mean First/Second Stages). And also time to time more "realistic" in the touge battles. For instance, in the anime Takumi passed Wataru's Levin Turbo because the latter was distracted for his tireness of the enduring race, but Fujiwara just went through a gap left on the right by Akiyama, when on the other side, the overtake in the anime was... VERY UNLIKELY TO BE TRUE IN REALITY. I mean... on a mudslide? REALLY? -.- (BTW for me was the climax of the whole second stage).
@@grandicellichannel In the anime they make it somewhat clear about the fatigue, but I understand your point is very clear the adaptation changed a lot of things. like some interactions in almost all the stages or also the little details like when God hand/arm talks in a memory in 5th Stage, when Bunta drives with Yuichi, or the most complicated change of the final races in the fourth stage.
@@akalinerally3299 they had to switch up the final race because we need to save the best for last, and that is Takumi vs God Arm (although I'd argue Keisuke's race was far better)

Gotta give Itsuki credit for trying. Even though he’ll burn the drivetrain out learning…

Isn't that the point of ✨learning✨ though?
itsooki just heeling and tooing while upshifting, one of the greatest move dagumi hasnt learned yet.
He tried, i'l give him points on that tho
Long time no talk

This is what happen when u learn heel and toe move for the first time.
@fightxer expect he was shifting up not down so heel and toe wouldn’t help at all it would heart your speed

The best.

@Lone Drifter well if you watch he shifts from 2nd to 3rd while holding both the gas and the brake so yeah
At least he didn't blew up the engine, lmao
Itsuki Takeuchi. So skilled that he heel-n-toe while upshifting
heel-toe is actually really hard to do in real life, i tried to but ended up in a guardrail. or maybe i'm just a big nakazato fan...
I did it once and came to a complete stop lol
depends on thr car really your pedals kinda have to be alighned in a way so you CAN heel toe
The thing is that you use that technique when downshifting
