the southwest is so beautiful, we first went to Arizona on vacation a few years ago, now we save up and go there every year, absolutely beautiful drive
Gooooood morning Robert! Wow, thank you for the great video. We felt like we were watching a movie. We look forward to your new videos all week long. We enjoy rewatching your old ones too. Have a great day my friend. Fly pelican, fly! 😎🌴☕
Robert definitely has a lot of passion about so many things, including traveling, cooking, etc. that it is contagious. Paprika is definitely a must in many dishes! 😁
J. B. I agree he's so fun to watch. He knows his shit. Very good narrator and the switch to real time is great. That's why this channel is so successful. It's a ton of work for him to take us along with him on trips. I'm greatful. God we see a ton
J. B. He talks out loud what he's thinking. How do those animals survive?? He's great at this he's a musician too. Artists have a different kind of brain very smart. I know all those school violin lessons did nothing for me lol. I really appreciate artists.
Love your “Riding to the West into the sunset videos” Robert. Such a joy to follow your journeys but especially when you head out west! Keep up the excellent work!
This video made my day I had to work all day and when I got home I made supper and checked TH-cam and behold the long driving to the west video I had been waiting for. LOVE IT! Keep up the good work.
Hola vecino! My husband and I are also from Miami and we recently found your videos and we are binge watching them every evening! Better than Netflix and a Marriage Therapist! Soy Morales de nacimiento. Mis padres son de Cuba tambien (Oriente, y la Havana) God bless your travels and happy trails!
After a long day out taking photos, its perfect to watch Traveling Roberts new video. chilling with a glass of red wine. Thanks for the video and looking forward to the next one.
I love this driving to the west video, Arizona, and California is my favorite. Like to go along with you. it's has been my 3rd time watching this video and every time I watch seemed like the first time I watch it. Never get old, Thanks, Robert!
omg thank you so much Robert for making another wild west video. ive been waiting so long. i love when you say 'goooooood morning', your voice is so soothing. thanks man and please keep on posting wild west roadtrips especially the Arizona ones.
Gotta love our Buc-Ee's! I'm gonna have to send you some Buc-Ee's swag next time I get home. The smaller one you stopped at is 10 minutes from my parents home! Very cool. HA you showed the exit to my home that I take from the 1604 Loop in San Antonio to get on IH10. I keep my plane over at Boerne that you cruised by. How neat to see it from your perspective. Junction is such a neat town. Glad you like staying there. I remember last years episode when you featured that park. Always nice to have you in our great state of Texas! I need one of those rally shirts!!
We all love you and your great videos !!! You put so much effort and your heart and soul into them. I could almost smell that breakfast taco you made !!! HA HA !!! Keep well, keep sharing, and my best to you and yours !!!
Robert...you inspired me to start my own channel and desire to travel more! I love watching your videos because I have the same size truck with the same size travel trailer that I've recently purchased! I'm so looking forward to my adventures with my own travel trailer! Your videos are so informative and I've learned to prepare what I have to go through watching your videos.
I have found a new favourite to watch as i clean my house . I am surprised you dont geocache with all the places you travel. Watching from Australia 🇦🇺
Whenever we leave south Louisiana and head west thru Texas we always do 2 things. We put on "I've Seen Miles and Miles of Texas" by Asleep at the Wheel and we stop at Fiesta Grocery in Houston to pick up interesting fruit, veggies and other items we do have locally.
Robert your stories are so interesting, hard to stop watching once you start, heading EAST on 10 myself(and wife) to Florida in April hope to see you on the road! Thanks for the adventures!
Great video... I am glad I get to see the rest of our country through your traveling experience. Hoping to travel to the west soon. Thanks for sharing ...
Maybe add additional ceiling LED lights around kitchen and living areas and/or some under cabinet counter top LED lighting. LPG usually will last a long time on a 20 lb tank if all you are using is the refrigerator and cooktop (a few months). Once you begin using the heater and oven, LPG consumption is much much more. Robert, you like your eggs browned? Try a little less flame, 1/2 what you are using, and a little more time to prevent them from browning...the taste is amazingly different or better for those who don't want them browned.
WOW Robert, I haven't seen gas prices that low since I left Norfolk Virginia a year & a half ago.....here in Stockton California I just paid $3.43 a gallon yesterday.....smh.....
ROBERT... GOD BLESS YOU.. I WOLK UP THIS MORNING TURNED ON THE TV I WAS LOOKING FOR SOMETING TO SEE. SUDDENLY I SEE YOUR VIDEO VERY INTESTING AND I LOVED IT I LOVE TO TRAVEL MY DAUGHTER LIVES IN EL PASO TX. SO I GOT TO SEE SOME PART OF THAT CITY THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR VIDEOS AND YOUR TIME. I COULD SEE HOW MUCH YOU ENJOY YOUR TIME DRIVING MY.... MY GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS..
I am trying to watch Roberts travels and get caught up. This video was great. I use to live in Texas and Robert you drove right by my old home in Beaumont Tx. I also liked the music in the end of the video. Great video and Thank you my friend
In hotter climates the expansion joints on freeways are wider to allow for more expansion and contraction between summer and winter, causing the bumps you feel.
I like your clips. You bring town Baton Rough that not able to see in my life I just heard about it long ago.Thank you very much. You are professional to this.Respect from Thailand.I watch your videos every day I like USA beautiful places.I used to read book but now dream is real.So keep going I hope someday you will popular around world.Thailand is small for you to drive sure.
Another great video Robert! Your passion and appreciation for traveling always comes through! Interesting thoughts on borders starting @33:30 especially given your history as an immigrant (just like the rest of us or our ancestors). Glad you immigrated here--you've added to our shared country! Enjoyed the standing water in the desert--it is so rare!
Another great RV travel trip through Texas. Thanks Robert for keeping viewers informed of your travels. Have you noticed an increase in MPG's? The gas pumps have signs indicating "Contains Up To 10% Ethanol" but I always noticed an increase in MPG when driving through Texas and it might be that Texas allows a higher gas to ethanol ratio.
Great video saw you go through Tucson, some great places to check out if you ever make it here again, great Mexican food as well, you ever come back check out the San Xavier mission beautiful church. Safe travels on your endeavors
Hi Robert, if you that that chunk of road in Texas (I think it was) was rough, you should try taking Interstate 16 from Savanna to Macon. It will definitely test your shocks.
For me, once we start to get past Ohio, I can always breath a little easier. Past Missouri, and we are in a different world of the west.. Illinois is pretty nice~
Robert ,thanks for the great video! We have been rving for a year and a half and I am dying to get out West but life got in the way so now I live vicariously through you until we get there this summer and our full time rv lives begin :)
It is amazing how long it takes to transverse Florida going from Miami and then to the west. People complain about how long it takes to go east to west in Texas. Be sure to stop in at Floral City, Florida and test ride some folding recumbent TRIKES at Trailside Bike. The owner Andrew will set you up and there is plenty of room to park your RV.
I would have cooked inside too, it looked like it was dark by the time you started cooking anyway, and I say ramble on Robert, unrehearsed conversation is the best by far. I appreciate the excellent video and description of the different states, I have the feeling I won't ever get back out West, so I am glad I get to live through your experience. You should see if you can get a model number from the lights and see if you can get LED's to fit, that ill definitely brighten the place up. I think you pronouce the "T" at the end. Great video as usual Robert, looking forward to the next one and I love the 60 minute videos, although, my son said you can make more $$ on shorter vids.
Rober cuando pases por Texas, y te encuentras un Kroger, siempre tienen todo Beef steak Nolan Rayan en especial, desde New York style hasta T-bone y todo en general, te sorprenderas los precios y la calidad. No le pide nada a otros establishment. Abrazos, saludos y abrazos, a tú Mami y Esposa tambien. Cuídate mucho. 🤗🤗

Yes, I do cook. My family enjoys my cooking. When we travel in our Airstream I BBQ as well. I do like the way you gave the name of the RVPark in Az. And their daily charge good stuff. Also you might mention state by state which Wal - Marts allow over night parking. Do this and give the exact location, Ex. WalMart on Route 66 Lawton Oklahoma and give the street name Poplar Ave. just a thought to help your viewers as they travel. A roadmap of places to stay in a crunch.
23:30 -Cooper's BBQ---white sign beyond and left of the green light with the green roof. For years whenever I went through Junction, I would ALWAYS stop for a brisket sandwich. I haven't been on that stretch of I-10 in a while (I-20 instead ) and understand it may have a different owner.
don't worry about your food expiring, they put the dates on mainly for more consumption. i once had some lifeboat rations that were replaced by MRE.s although they were 25 or so years old, they were all good, only one thing i couldn't eat, some bread, cooked in the can that was cooked with lard and the lard had turned. Howdy Robert, many thanks for sharing this magnificent video about your long trip to Arizona which I thoroughly enjoyed watching here as usual.Another pearl on your already richly adorned crown for sure buddy.Best wishes and cordial greetings from an ardent fan of yours across the Big Pond,i.e. William from Bruges,Belgium,Europe
Robert my wife and I made virtually the same trip leaving from Gulf Shores, AL. on Mar. 1st. What beautiful country we have here in America. Your video shall join our pictures as another means to our memories. If traveling I-70 through Missouri, check out the "Lazy Day Camp Ground" in Montgomery City, (near Danville) Missouri. Very reasonable, quiet, charming and friendly owners/host. Tell Nancy, "The Griswolds" sent you and I bet, you get a big smile. We're presently holding over just west of Columbus OH. waiting for the weather to moderate before heading home to NW Pennsylvania for the summer. Then it's Yellowstone or bust. 🍻🍻🍻 Your videos are truly an inspiration.
Hello I'm a subscriber and thanks for sharing. I watched a whole series of your American road trip on Amazon Prime, super vids. I really enjoyed them so detailed with information. Made me realize you have to be built a certain way to drive those curves in the west coast. Super scary. Anyway thanks for documenting it all. I'm traveling to Seattle next month and you provided great information.
Hi Robert! Not sure if you noticed on your drive thru Alabama just after leaving Florida, but I believe there is a Buc-EE's under construction (maybe open now) at one of the exits for Orange Beach AL. It was under construction in Sept 2018 when I was there.
AL from Atlanta.....I love what you do Robert especially when you cook in minitini im a true fan i can watch your channel all day it my way of leaving Atlanta with out actually going anywhere keep doing what you doing sir.......flyyyyy Pelican.....lol
Working my way through your 2019 traveling to west series and enjoying very much. LOL, not everyone can say they took a shower in Walmart parking lot! Thanks for pointing out about Mexican Border, never saw before.
We just drove from Pomona CA with stops in Las Vegas, Valley of fire, Lake Mead, I-15 Virgin River, St George, Zion National Park, Snow Canyon, Kolob Canyon, San Rafael Swell, Arches and Canyonlands. I don't think I can drive to any flat uninteresting road. It has to be scenic freeways and byways. I'll just stick with the American southwest, California and Oregon.
I like how you are fascinated by the landscape as it gradually turns more arid. You should do the I-90 East trip out of Seattle some day. You will watch it go from lush forest to desert in under an hour!
I like long videos. It's like movies. Watching Robert's videos is highlights of my week. Thank you.
I learn alot from Robert. Especially how to just enjoy life.
I-10 is good for a car...never thought about towing a trailer, especially through Houston or El Paso. Glad you made it.
the southwest is so beautiful, we first went to Arizona on vacation a few years ago, now we save up and go there every year, absolutely beautiful drive
I love your "Driving to the West" theme music. Very catchy, can't get it out of my head now.

What I love about Arizona is how well cared-for their interstates are. Their overpass decorations are beautiful.
Sunday morning a cup of coffee and tea and a new video from travelling now that’s a good morning
No one mentions it here, but I love the narration, especially his light accent and the sense of humor he has...
Thank you!

It’s good to have dark windows in the camper keep it cooler in hotter weather, more privacy & if you want to nap during the day is not super bright
Robert, you are the travelling G.O.A.T (Greatest Of All Time)! I love your videos!
The best steakhouse is one’s home, or travel trailer in this case, except when you cook it in butter or add steak sauce

Hi Robert, if you that that chunk of road in Texas (I think it was) was rough, you should try taking Interstate 16 from Savanna to Macon. It will definitely test your shocks.
