Xiaomi 13t pro camera test. Ignoring customers demands or deliberate choice?

- In this video, I take the Xiaomi 13t pro camera for a spin and put it to the test. While some of our customers are happy with the camera performance, others are not happy with the way the camera is ignoring their demands. Is this a deliberate choice on the part of Xiaomi, or is this an Ignoring Customers Demand situation? In my opinion 1080p resolution for selfie is not good enough for a flagship phone. Yes the portrait photography thanks to co-engineered with Leica look amazing. However sometimes i was having some issues with over beautification even with this turned of.
Still for this price the Xiaomi is a great choice if you are looking for a good camera smartphone in 2023.

Thanks bro, didn't know this thing, turns out some/a lot of these latest phones from Xiaomi have this & some people mention that it's the IMX 707 sensor propably generally - you've saved a lot of people !

Xiaomi 13t pro is not a flagship phone but upper mid-range phone because Xiaomi did cut corners to reduce cost

Great phone review Dariusz. Not too fussed about the 1080p selfie camera. That's standard for Chinese based phones.

I bought the phone for gaming and camera use but the battery just drains too quickly. I don't know if it's just the chipset or whether the new OS.

Gotta say the camera quality really looks good almost full frame or crop sensor quality (for an untrained eye) though the lack of 4k 60 is kinda disappointing 😅

but on early video he look like boiled potato, I dont know this is can be consider as good camera quality
@@pudinichigo91 i think it was a problem with the post editing. I commonly see this occurrence in phone reviews where some footage were not exported properly and often overlooked

I have no problem with 1080p selfie. Most social media scale the pictures down anyway and I definitely don't sit and stare at my own face on my phone 🤣
I use a selfie camera for making my contents especially for intros. 4k for me is a must

But still, you can't justify having a low quality camera for an expensive phone. From 11t to 13 Ultra, they've always ignored the front camera quality.

U said there's no 4k 60 fps but I've seen on the xiaomi web that 4k 60 is actually available just without HDR
Also the blurry thing is unfortunate but you still managed to give some a video so 👍

At least the 1080p looks good. There are some flagships only offering 1080p with poorer quality.
Who told you it's a flagship?
It's not a flagship, flagship is the Xiaomi 13 series (13, 13 Pro, 13 Ultra). T models are the value version. That being said even their flagships do not have 4k selfie.
It has flagship hardware.

That's strange, on the 11t pro I've got 4k 60fps hdr10+, is this really not available on the 13t pro or redmi K60 ultra?

If only xiaomi comes out with a 4k60 fps on the xiaomi 14 ultra I would absolutely jump ship trust me.

I will return the product and choose another phone. I think Honor Magic5 pro or s23 ultra. I also have a video on my channel where the condensation is visible.

I decided to buy the phone i dont have the condensation thing so far and the battery charges really quickly. So far no problem but we will see.

I have the exact same issue with the condensation appearing on the main camera. Noticed it less than ten minutes after I unboxed it. It happens for me whenever I use the main camera for a couple of minutes. It's really disappointing. I have read of a few other people having this issue too. I've arranged a replacement with Xiaomi but I am almost tempted to ask for a refund if the issue is widespread. It's a shame as the phone seems excellent apart from this issue.

I used to have this same problem on my DSLR lens if i move from an indoor cool place directly to an outdoor warm humid environment.
I don't think it's a problem with your phone lens, it's a normal phenomenon
@@abdullahalammar7291 its definetly an issue, cndensation shouldnt be happening inside the camera lens. this means there is an gap where air can get through

It happens regularly if there are large sudden changes in temperature or humidity.

I’ve found a solution from Reddit that is quite simple and it works. Leave the phone to record one 20min video 4k30fps and one 20min video 1080p60fps. That’s it. You’re done. No more blur

Portrait photography thanks to Leica optics is just the next level on the 13t series in my opinion. For video not much difference
Everything is better on the 13t Pro. Worthy upgrade from the 11T Pro.

I love this phone. It can record 4k 60fps across all the lenses even selfies. It takes a beautiful portrait shots. This phone has everything. Latest chipset, fast charging, telephoto lens, amazing display with 144hz refresh rate.

@@DariuszTech really? I heard of problems with earlier Xiaomi products on mobile phones and I am wondering if this is not the case for the recent or 2023 phones onwards. I have tried the Xiaomi TV and Never had any problems using it for my PS5. I fell in love with 13T Pro ever since Samsung A series.

Not really impressed with the video colours. Seems quite oversaturated. It's OK when there's no people in the video but your skin color looks very red in the video for both the front and rear camera. Apart from that it's ok
I think it's TH-cam. As when I exported video it was just fine but I agree the skin colour doesn't look natural here for some reason

They need to put a 4k selfi and usb 3.1 they have no video output, and only the 13 ultra has it for wired data transfer that would take 30 mins Samsung along with honors 5 magic pro and mate 60 pro have it for their flagships something xiaomi needs to do

i have mi 13 t pro & it's camera is really good both in picture & video but don't know why your one is the worst camera quality that really made everyone hate it . even at dxomark TH-cam other reviewers have a better quality than this one....................

Looks like you got a damaged unit😔. A lot of things are wrong with this cameras, you look like you're wearing make-up, the colors saturation so hard. This must be replaced by Xiaomi immediately. Thank Darius again for all the effort. I'm sorry. Good luck.
