@@busybee2148That's the thing I dislike with apple's approach. up to 4.9x on the 15PM is just digital crop. The biggest difference for camera system will actually be the ultrawide. Apart from the 3X zoom, of course.. the regular 15 straight up can’t even compete. The regular iPhones output deteriorate quickly, much softer around the corners, lacking details because it doesn’t have auto focus capability and overall output is much darker with visible noise all around due to slower aperture. Also worth mentioning, even though they both have 48MP sensor.. 14 Pro and regular 15 have different sensor. The main 48MP camera for iPhone 14 Pro is the same sensor found in iPhone 15 Pro which is Sony IMX803. Featuring bigger sensor size of 1/1.28” and larger pixel size of 1.22um. Exactly, that's why they claimed that the iPhone 15 Pro has an even larger sensor then the iPhone 15. The 15 Pro is using the same sensor as the 14 Pro.
I wish Apple gives an camera update on the 14 series cause it makes no sense to lack behind from the basic 15 models they are using exactly the same hardware the is no excuse from apple other than forcing you to upgrade!
officially they even said the 14 Pro models get the same new portrait mode, interesting that its still worse with the new and same iOS version. Probably in the future? But i would also guess as well basic apple anti consumer behaviour to force them to upgrade early on.
Im torn! Looking into making short videos and photos to post and would do usual activities - socmed, watching videos, videocalling. Does the iphone 14pro have the voice isolation when calling too? Im really torn which to buy 😩

The lack of white balance control just kills me. It's essential in my opinion and I often have ridiculous white balance that's completely off on my iphone 12 pro. It makes so many pictures trash. Great detailed review!
In the DJI MIMO app you have white balance adjust. And i bet on some dedicated video/photo apps you have it as well without the need of a DJI gimbal. Didnt know thats an issue because its in the MIMO app since years.
Without a doubt, having ProRes is more important because it gives you raw footage that you can edit the way you like. On the other hand, adding a colour temperature setting is such a trivial thing that I really don't know why it hasn't been included long ago
prores is not raw footage though, its just uncompressed codec, in fact I'd prefer H.265 LOG over standard ProRes But I agree on the color temperature settings part with you!
Bro i came here to find out whether 15 or 14 pro max.. But eventually i ended up seeing 6 of your videos 🤭 Really love the way you explain and most importantly all your videos are super clear to understand.. Keep it up brother 🫂
I guessed correctly. Both my brothers have the 15 and my boyfriend has the 14 pro (max), and I've personally preferred the slight saturation on the 15, I can see it without asking. I'm considering upgrading to the 14 pro, but I am going to use the phone for content creation, so after this video I think I'm settling on the 15. Thank You.
Of course, smartphone cameras take good pictures. But as soon as the lighting gets worse, it's just terrible. Any modern camera, for example Sony zv 10, canon r50, r100, r10, will be head and shoulders above any modern smartphones. no matter what anyone says. You can't fool physics. And you can add artificial sharpness in the editor. In short, if you want good quality photos, take the entry-level mirrorless cameras, and you will still have about $400 left for a smartphone.
Hey Steven, can you please help me decide between the two. My priority is camera. Which one in your opinion is better in terms of image/ video quality considering main camera.
Hmm, if we talk about main camera only, I'd go for something more future proof, since the difference will be barely noticeable however a smaller footprint phone is more convenient to carry around imo
Depends.... how often you would use 3x zoom and beyond? I personally sticked to base iPhone 15 and its very good main camera because i have 2 tiny point and shoot cameras, a Sony W830, classy, old CCD technology and a more modern RX100 IV with much better stabiliser, low light, features, much better video,... For anything "serious" i have anyways a proper mirrorless camera and a decent lens collection, thats why i always had non-Pro iPhones so far and most of the iPhones since 2014 were 2nd hand, changed every 2-4 years.
Thanks for your review I want a high quality main lense for taking videos and pictures of family moments and don't really have time for editing so I think 15 is a great choice
I got a 15 recently and had an 14 Pro, but I "feel" (haven't properly tested) that the 15 renders much more noise. Esp. in low light. But the main reason I "upgraded" was for the weight, rounded edges and USB-C.
I found the 15 main camera to perform better or exactly the same as the 14 Pro in a little test with a friends 14 Pro. I did a 30 seconds long exposure of the night sky with 24mm, so the 1x main camera and it turned out very good after a pretty wild processing time of about 5-10 seconds. The 14 Pro could not pick more than 10 seconds long exposure, so we did 5 shots with 10 seconds and stacked them with a simple setting in deep sky stacker. Even with too bright stars you see a lot more internal reflections on the 14 Pro than on the 15, which is also evident in his comparisons. Yet, the 15 struggles still a lot with lets say bright street lanterns or any bright spots, even x-mas decoration is hard/impossible to capture properly without annoying reflections/halos if some lights are too bright. I upgraded from a 12 Mini with dying battery to the 15. After enjoying the 15 for a while, i switched back to the 12 Mini and just dont care about the battery anymore (15W wired and 12W wireless charging, always to 100%,...). Some day the 15 will not be the secondary phone, but the 12 Mini is too compact and convenient as long i dont need to do anything on it.
Hi. I was used 13 pro max, i want to buy new iphone , i don't know which pick - 14 pro or 15 or 15 pro? I feel i need good cam like i have on my 13 pro max, will i feel different/big difference by using came on 15 , if 13 pro max cam much better then 15?

I wish Apple gives an camera update on the 14 series cause it makes no sense to lack behind from the basic 15 models they are using exactly the same hardware the is no excuse from apple other than forcing you to upgrade!
officially they even said the 14 Pro models get the same new portrait mode, interesting that its still worse with the new and same iOS version. Probably in the future? But i would also guess as well basic apple anti consumer behaviour to force them to upgrade early on.
Great comparison, keep up the good work!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you!
I just bought the 15! I didn’t regret it at all! I love my iPhone 15!
Im torn! Looking into making short videos and photos to post and would do usual activities - socmed, watching videos, videocalling. Does the iphone 14pro have the voice isolation when calling too? Im really torn which to buy 😩
I don’t know about iPhones, but your camera for interview and post processing are awesome! I want that one 😁
15 wins in my view
Doesn't the 14 pro have Macro capability that the 15 is missing?
Actually, I always watch your videos fully. And regarding the cameras, I guessed correctly which one is which. Well done bro! Amazing hard work and video! Keep it up man!
Thank you so much!
I am watching it on my iPhone 15
How is the camera? Does it make your skintone dark?
@@jwvk01also 15 user here. It's bit underexposure and more detailed. I usually add the exporsure by 0.3 to 0.7 for the selfie. You can also change the photo style to vibrant if you want more colour.
@@iqbalhardito3020 overall should I go for it or not? And I just want to use camera, instagram & snapchat. What storage should I go for? This will be my first iphone
So should I go for it? I only need camera, snap & insta. And what storage should I go for?
Camera is good. Insta drains the battery morethan other apps. Go for more than 128GB as mine is half way full in just 2 months@@jwvk01
all the places where you shoot the pictures and video is very beautiful. Where is it so I can visit one day?
Nice video composition, I was looking a video like this as I am a little bit nerd about it, thank you Steven!
Is better to bay 13 pro max or iphone 15?
Sir I want to know which camera and lenses you are using ❤
How's the front cam? Is it good?
when you made photo difference, you have 2 photos with iphone 14 pro max, but you said that A is 15 and B is 14 pro max (6.06) and in the mirror of the case on iphone 14 pro max we see this
No, everything is captioned correctly, see the composition on the 14 pro is more left handed than the 15. And the reflection shows that
Bro In ur hand iph15 or 15 plus ?
Beautiful landscapes, bro!
Thank you!! Updating my old 11 and wanted to know the main differences between these two, as I’m not prepared to pay for the 15 pro.
Where is this place where u shot video?
Maybe Salzburg or Hallstatt
The lack of white balance control just kills me. It's essential in my opinion and I often have ridiculous white balance that's completely off on my iphone 12 pro. It makes so many pictures trash. Great detailed review!
Thanks a lot!
you can tweak it with the profiles and editing the picture
In the DJI MIMO app you have white balance adjust. And i bet on some dedicated video/photo apps you have it as well without the need of a DJI gimbal.
Didnt know thats an issue because its in the MIMO app since years.
I love portrait pics and cinematic mood video which one should i buy
Till date, I was an Android user (Galaxy) and few days ago moved to iOS and got myself an iPhone 15 plus and I am just loving it.
The 15 pros have white balance lock at least... Not sure whether the 15 regular does maybe not apparently
It does!
@@solidflix7990 oh cool! Nice to know
iPhone 15 goes to heaven and iPhone 14pro goes to bangkok.
Amazing! Thank you for the explanation❤
Thanks! Glad it was helpful!
What is that app name which u use in your video to show pro mode ??
James Franco put it best: “It same same but different..”
Your analysis and video quality super❤
Thank you so much 😀
Without a doubt, having ProRes is more important because it gives you raw footage that you can edit the way you like. On the other hand, adding a colour temperature setting is such a trivial thing that I really don't know why it hasn't been included long ago
prores is not raw footage though, its just uncompressed codec, in fact I'd prefer H.265 LOG over standard ProRes
But I agree on the color temperature settings part with you!
Also wanted to know the country/city you have shot this?
Great video!
Will you also be making a video on the Pixel 8 Pro?
Yeah why not, what about the pixel 8pro makes it special and what should I focus on?
I think 15 is more logical to choose if you are ok with 60hz, just bought 15
i love the comparison bro. Keep it UP
how’s the night modus pictures on the 15?
Best review .thanks!
Much appreciated!
Bro i came here to find out whether 15 or 14 pro max.. But eventually i ended up seeing 6 of your videos 🤭 Really love the way you explain and most importantly all your videos are super clear to understand.. Keep it up brother 🫂
I use portrait mode more often than any other modes
I guessed right, the 15 just handles dynamic range better
I guessed correctly. Both my brothers have the 15 and my boyfriend has the 14 pro (max), and I've personally preferred the slight saturation on the 15, I can see it without asking. I'm considering upgrading to the 14 pro, but I am going to use the phone for content creation, so after this video I think I'm settling on the 15. Thank You.
what about low light pics?
Does he know he can change the 15 cam to warm or cold from setting??
It would be interesting to see the differences in like a concert setting
15 brand new or 14 pro refurbished?
I just want to buy for cemra so which should i need to buy ?
Which one will you recommend 14pro or 15
15
14 pro is better camera than 15
Which camera app do you use for your next video footage you talking about
Excellent video, the most detailed comparison on the internet.
What has a better main camera for photo and videos. iPhone 12 Pro Max or iPhone 15
Iphone 15
Of course, smartphone cameras take good pictures. But as soon as the lighting gets worse, it's just terrible. Any modern camera, for example Sony zv 10, canon r50, r100, r10, will be head and shoulders above any modern smartphones. no matter what anyone says. You can't fool physics. And you can add artificial sharpness in the editor. In short, if you want good quality photos, take the entry-level mirrorless cameras, and you will still have about $400 left for a smartphone.
Nice and detailed comparison 😎✅
Can you do the same video with 15 vs 15 pro ? Which have better photo and camera pls?,???
I got the 14 pro and I am happy and plan on keeping it until the 18
Great work! Thank you
Very helpful video mate thank you
this was so helpful thank you so much
Is the iPhone 15 flagship or midrange?
STEVEN PLZ which one is better or which one should i take
Both are good, 15 is more future proof maybe, so go with it
yes or no? 🗿
Yes but......
But what
Regular 15 is the best
Which one should i go for iphone 14pro max or 15plus
If you need something future proof and better battery life, with type C, I’d go for 15+
Type C is my favorite more than the 120hz am.okay with stable 60fps so will go for the 15plus
Thanks for your review
I want a high quality main lense for taking videos and pictures of family moments and don't really have time for editing so I think 15 is a great choice
Good choice!
choosing the 15 will be a bad decision? help me to find out please.
I got a 15 recently and had an 14 Pro, but I "feel" (haven't properly tested) that the 15 renders much more noise. Esp. in low light. But the main reason I "upgraded" was for the weight, rounded edges and USB-C.
Im torn between these two models of yours . What's your opinion? the previous pro model or 15 base one?
@@Jasonpantazis like I said the 15 base is lighter, has USB c, feels better in the hand
Thanks for the comment! So, in terms of quality and overall performance, the 14 Pro is the winner, right?
@@alecsbuga
@@Jasonpantazis I said the other way around.
Ur iPhone 120htz and the iPhone 15 60 htz if u don’t care it’s ok but the iPhone 15 is better in everything except 120 htz If u don’t care it’s a good choice the iPhone 15 is very good and the camera but I think u should buy 15 pro
The iPhone 15 is better then iPhone 13 in everything except 120 htz
i need to know what lake is that and the location?
such a beautiful location, where is it??
Hallstatt, Austria
9:14 which place is this? Need to put this into my bucket list.
I was thinking of getting the 14 pro or pro max but your review has changed my mind to get the 15!
Thanks for this review👏🏾
