Obtaining the best audio quality for moto vlogging

I think I have finally found the most optimal way to record the highest audio quality of my motorcycle.
A Tascam DR-05X is recording the exhaust and engine sound and it is placed underneath the passenger seat.
Video is rolling on the chin of my helmet, pole attached on handlebar and one attached on the lower frame to video the wheel.
It's advisable to get a Dead Cat and slip it over the Tascam to further reduce the possibilities of picking up wind noise.

Recording Settings:
Turn recorder on by pressing + holding HOME button
Press Record once (to set it in Record mode)
press Quick button to bring up quick menu for Recoding
Press single-right arrow (button in the center) to select LEVEL MODE
Choose Peak Reduction

Peak Reduction is chosen because it protects the recording from touching the peaks via high-water markings .
It's best to rev the engine a few times AFTER you start recording so that the Peak Reduction mode will set the high-water mark of your recording style and will be ready for the actual recording.
After this, you are all set. Turn the Record ON and stick the device under your passenger seat and you good to go.
Don't forget to clap your hands or beep your horn a couple of times so that you have a video + audio marker, as a reference point, to sync later in post-processing.
That's why you hear Hollywood guys calling out "Markers" before the film start rolling.
