But Rice is the GOAT, most gifted we could say Moss and im fine with because he was that exciting. And then TO is in the top 5 or top 10, but Jerry Rice is bar None.
If you set the bar (Jerry), and nobody has matched or exceeded the barometer, hen you cannot call yourself greater. Remember, Rice played in an era where running the ball 40x a game was the norm. Sure, the 49rs may have been more pass oriented, but they hardly if ever led the league in passing. J. Rice was dominating.
I appreciate the shit out of Michael Jordan, you never hear him talk about his legacy. He knows his time playing is over and doesn’t care to prove anything to anyone about goat debates are anything regarding his “legacy”. Kobe was the same way after retirement.
When someone doesn’t have the physical ability perfect example is Larry Bird and Joker two players that aren’t physically gifted yes they are tall but their skill is literally maybe the best ever in the sport so if you took say Lebron James and he was 6’4 or under good chance he wouldn’t be in the NBA now if you made Bird or Joker 6’4 they would still make the NBA because of hustle and skill. T.O. could of been a much better player if he wasn’t so damn needy or bipolar but to be honest that’s how most black receivers are everything is about them and are always being disrespected some how but in reality that’s just basic bitch shit for them. Sorry TO yeah you look great with your shirt off but you had your time to prove it and if you weren’t always being a bitch about something maybe things would of went differently in your career maybe the Patriots would of picked you up or Giants or Steelers or Colts etc.
I agree with, TO! I enjoyed both wide receivers. Jerry Rice, was the epitome of finesse! Terrell Owens, was very physical; giving and taking physical interaction.
Stay humble there T.O. The man was an absolute beast, it just bugs me that he's so eager to let you know that. Let others tout you, you don't tout yourself or it takes away from how others perceive you. In other words, it's counter-productive. He was damn good though, no disputes there, a monster.
@@ChrisP-in8qr Harrison was a great one, for sure. I also put Calvin Johnson up there as well, because he still put up his monstrous numbers, despite not having a noteworthy QB throwing to him. @@ChrisP-in8qr , see that's my point, couldn't even remember who his QB's were, off the top of my head. @@lonewolfsurvival3453 100% agreed, but I do think QB's matter somewhat, for instance Romo would have put the ball into CJ's hands more than Kitna which would have resulted in more TD's wins ect.
Would-of, should-of, could-of is not an excuse. He didn’t last as long as Jerry because of his own doing, and this “talk” seems to be a cover for, perhaps, the regret he feels.
TO, and Moss- both all-time greats. But Rice is the goat. The biggest difference (apart from the stats) is that TO and Moss were head cases. Rice wasn't. Perhaps that's why Rice has those rings while Moss and TO don't. Wide Outs are often primadonnas, Rice wasn't.
I didn't even have to watch this video in full because I already knew.... If Terrell Owens thinks he was better than Jerry Rice he's a fool! Terrell may have been better physically gifted but he was never a team player and don't ever forget that. Jerry Rice was a team player and retired with a gold jacket.
If Jerry Rice had the same body as Terrell Owens, he would've been even better, -BUT if Terrell Owens had the body of Jerry Rice...nobody would even know who Terrell Owens is lol
As a 49er fan still and a Jerry Rice fan since I can remember seeing football, TO sounds more ridiculous than Randy Moss at saying he's better than the greatest football player of all time. In his 2nd and 3rd season in the NFL TO had 103 & 104 passes thrown to him. His 3rd season he had 1097 yards and 14 tds. That's not hard playing or hardly getting an opportunity. The #1 ability is availability, so Rice beats TO there with a 20 year career vs a 15 year career. Rice didn't get 16 games in 1987 because of the players strike but he still had 1078 yards and 22 tds in 12 games. In 2000, both with the 49ers, TO had 146 targets to Rice's 124, so this woe is me argument that TO is trying to present is not landing. TO went on to have more targets and better stats than Rice from 2000 until Rice retired in 2004. But that wasn't Rice's prime. The most receptions TO had in a single season was 100. Rice had a 100 reception season and later had 112, 122, & 108 in 3 consecutive seasons. TO best season in yards is 1451. Rice had 1570, 1503, 1499 & 1848. TO led the league in receiving tds 3 times, 16 being his best. Rice led the league 6 times having 17 & 22 in his 2 best td seasons. TO said he did more than play receiver. Well he never threw the ball in the NFL, Jerry does at least have 3 completions for 71 yards and a passing TD. In the rushing department Rice has 645 career yards with 10 tds while Owens has just 251 yards with 3 tds. TO doesn't have the career success nor milestones that Rice has. 3 Super Bowl rings, Super Bowl 23 MVP, 1987 offensive player of the year & rookie of the year. TO never had of those mentioned. Jerry owns nearly every playoff and Super Bowl receiving record, all of the major receiving career records. And TO mentioned his college career. How is it that we have highlights of Rice at an HBCU in the early 1980s but it is so hard to find highlights of TO when he played college ball in the mid 1990s? Jerry Rice broke 18 NCAA records at an HBCU. These are the reasons Jerry Rice set the bar that no other player has matched.
I remember when TO was a cowboy, it was hype because of his reputation. Honestly, I remember watching TO drop some of the most wide open passes to him, but at the same time, would make some of the crazy impossible catches. You never know what you would get lol
Lies.....consistency is what you got with TO...he had over 1000 yards and over 10 tds every year with dallas....what are you talking about??? Your just highlighting a bad play here and there. That's not who he was.
@@pound4p consistency is right. I watched him play on the cowboys for 3 seasons and every game he dropped at least one wide open pass. He made great catches too, but he definitely got the blood pressure going sometimes.
Rice had the privilege of playing with two HOF QB's for nearly his entire career. Give TO the same consistency then he might have an argument. But you could also say that of some other guys too, Andre Johnson, Steve Smith, Calvin Johnson, etc.
No way T.O. u cost us Bengals the playoffs one year when u got scared to get hit and tried to alligator arm a ball. Nobody could run a route like Ochocinco, btw.
If I were picking between the 2 I would take TO. Much more natural talent bigger stronger faster, now TO had mental issues that hurt teams, remember though Jerry was getting thrown to by Joe Montana. I still think TO could help an NFL team somewhere right now.
I remember when TO joined the Seahawks, don't have much knowledge on football but I remember asking "who's the guy that looks like a bobblehead?" Didn't realize that his head would slowly gain even more mass this many years later.
His “potential” did not translate into Jerry like numbers or accomplishments. For him to make such a claim is flat out disrespectful. There’s a reason why he’s so universally hated, despite him trying to convince us otherwise.. like we’re beneath him.

But Rice is the GOAT, most gifted we could say Moss and im fine with because he was that exciting. And then TO is in the top 5 or top 10, but Jerry Rice is bar None.
Remember Jerry never learned from you
Jerry > moss > megatron > Chris carter > Michael Irving > ochocinco > T.O.
Absolutely 💯
I appreciate the shit out of Michael Jordan, you never hear him talk about his legacy. He knows his time playing is over and doesn’t care to prove anything to anyone about goat debates are anything regarding his “legacy”. Kobe was the same way after retirement.
“Better than Moss”? Somebody should wash Terrell mouth with soap. 😂
Didn't Jerry say he used stick em glue?
Rice is the goat. But Owens and Moss were physical specimens
its a shame he wasnt 1st ballot HOF. That said Rice is the Goat and Randy was the most talented.
I remember the crazy Phila. Eagles Days. Lots of drama. Entertaining! Love TO.
Remember he was doing sit-ups in his driveway in front of press? T.O.? More like Jay-O. (Im an eagles fan)
I agree with, TO! I enjoyed both wide receivers. Jerry Rice, was the epitome of finesse! Terrell Owens, was very physical; giving and taking physical interaction.
I’m definitely a fan of Owens but Jerry Rice is the GOAT WR and it’s not really even debatable
1. Jerry Rice
2. Randy Moss
3. Calvin Johnson
Besides an old Steve Young, TO played with mediocre QBs during his career & still put up those stats
Tony Romo and Donovan Mcnabb were above avg QBs and Carson Palmer dude stop
Statistics and championships count !
Stay humble there T.O. The man was an absolute beast, it just bugs me that he's so eager to let you know that. Let others tout you, you don't tout yourself or it takes away from how others perceive you. In other words, it's counter-productive. He was damn good though, no disputes there, a monster.
Owen's was good, but not better than Rice, Moss or Harrison
@@ChrisP-in8qr Harrison was a great one, for sure. I also put Calvin Johnson up there as well, because he still put up his monstrous numbers, despite not having a noteworthy QB throwing to him. If you can put up 1,800-yard seasons catching balls from Joey Harrington and the like, that makes you a great WR.
@@lonewolfsurvival3453 Harrington and Johnson never played together. Maybe your thinking of Kitna.
@@ChrisP-in8qr , see that's my point, couldn't even remember who his QB's were, off the top of my head. I was thinking Shane Mathews maybe, but he's had a few QB's throwing to him, Kitna being one of them. CJ was still a HOF WR though and put up some prolific numbers, despite never having a Montana, Brady, Steve Young or Peyton throwing him the ball, like the other WR's had.
T.O was an absolute stud! And everyone should think the way he thinks... wit that said HE CRAZY AF! 🤣 🤣
It's embarrassing that you guys even talk about this. I am very disappointed!!!
And Rice was not traded in his prime....T.O. and Moss were. That says a lot
I didn't even have to watch this video in full because I already knew.... If Terrell Owens thinks he was better than Jerry Rice he's a fool! Terrell may have been better physically gifted but he was never a team player and don't ever forget that. Jerry Rice was a team player and retired with a gold jacket.
When I sent the headline I thought “here we go Terrell goanna say something crazy”. He actually made a pretty good argument though.
If Jerry Rice had the same body as Terrell Owens, he would've been even better, -BUT if Terrell Owens had the body of Jerry Rice...nobody would even know who Terrell Owens is lol
TO wasn’t better than Marvin Harrison
People are just too full of themselves, these days
Bro jerry set records in 14 game
Seasons
Jerry Rice played his entire career AFTER the NFL instituted 16 game seasons in 1978.
Shoulda Woulda Coulda....
T.O. is top 10, but I don't think he's a better WR than Rice. Sorry.
He couldn’t hold Jerry’s jockstrap…
Randy Moss was the GOAT
He wasn’t better than Moss. Moss was a different beast. Stats aside.
He is better than Randy in all factors, except deep ball. Other than that TO is better WR.
I remember taking him with the last pick in Round #1 in fantasy on his first season with the Pats, I just knew he was going to put up crazy numbers.
@@Mr813Flarespect. I’m still taking Moss over Owens. I got TO as my # 5 reciever of all time behind Tim Brown.
I remember when TO was a cowboy, it was hype because of his reputation. Honestly, I remember watching TO drop some of the most wide open passes to him, but at the same time, would make some of the crazy impossible catches. You never know what you would get lol
Consistency is what made Jerry the GOAT.
He led the league in drops a few times
Jerry Rice was very arguably the best football player until Tom Brady! LT best defensive player
Tom Brady the best football player? That's laughable.
The Garrison Hearst 96 yard run...
Rice had the privilege of playing with two HOF QB's for nearly his entire career. Give TO the same consistency then he might have an argument. But you could also say that of some other guys too, Andre Johnson, Steve Smith, Calvin Johnson, etc.
This clown played with nothing but pro bowl qbs you act like he had Tim couch 😊
Jerry was putting up Stats at age 40 with Rich Gannon at QB. In 1995 Young missed 5 games and Jerry put up 1800+ yards
@@nate9798Snapple top facts
No way T.O. u cost us Bengals the playoffs one year when u got scared to get hit and tried to alligator arm a ball. Nobody could run a route like Ochocinco, btw.
Moss way better
Woulda, coulda, shoulda. All 'if's and buts'.
If I were picking between the 2 I would take TO. Much more natural talent bigger stronger faster, now TO had mental issues that hurt teams, remember though Jerry was getting thrown to by Joe Montana. I still think TO could help an NFL team somewhere right now.
Give me Jerry rice team chemistry is everything
Watching Philly last year remind me of that of 04 year
I remember when TO joined the Seahawks, don't have much knowledge on football but I remember asking "who's the guy that looks like a bobblehead?" Didn't realize that his head would slowly gain even more mass this many years later.
Jerry Rice is the 🐐 WR. There's no argument here.
i couldn’t believe jerry signed him after he disrespected the star
If his mouth wasn't part of the equation, maybe. But thats why he couldn't stay on teams with his diva nature.
Too many people conveniently forget his unprofessional brat mentality
There’s a bunch of receivers better then Jerry … BUT most couldn’t get the performance/ accolades and numbers he did. It’s the whole package.
8:41 back in 04 when I used to ball I use to call this dude BFN Big for nothing 😂 cause I use to 💩 on him (pause)
TO was an absolute savage on the field… Legend 🔥👀
His “potential” did not translate into Jerry like numbers or accomplishments. For him to make such a claim is flat out disrespectful. There’s a reason why he’s so universally hated, despite him trying to convince us otherwise.. like we’re beneath him.
T.O was good, but Jerry was Great!!!😊
Lol prior to Rice injury, he came into the season as if his position was about to be taken, he took the game that serious. I definitely like TO, imah 9ers guy other than Dorsett, but Rice is the GOAT. I do dig TO but he did allow himself to be a distraction to where no team wanted to take the risk in having him.
Take your shades off while making the argument! & remember to check your blood pressure!
4:01 this why i love TO !!!
I am a TO fan but he is full of it. He talks about Randy not being a team player when i saw "numerous" games the Cowboys won and he was noticeably upset because he didnt have a good game statiscally.
Jerry Rice is the obvious GOAT. Where I get hung up on is how to rank T.O., Moss and Calvin Johnson behind him. Oh Yea, CJ is definitely up there with the other three, for sure.
T.O. is closer to Rodman than Jordan. All-star level player, but an unstable diva.
No way. TO was getting TDs, yac, yards. He did it all. Rodman was a great defender and rebounder, very limited.
@@cyberfthe also led the league in drops a few times. But you didn't mention that did you?
@@ChrisP-in8qr what does that have to do with him being closer to MJ than Rodman?
Not a single person would place you in the same sentence with Jerry Rice! You’re not even in the same galaxy as the great receivers!
TO could've played til he was 45 if given a chance. TO is the most complete receiver ever. He could do everything great even block, but jerry career is untouchable
Too many people saying "Moss is greatest" never saw football before 1995 😂
Baby 🐐 fasho 🙌🏾 imo
Both had suspect hands. TO better blocker, more explosive but Jerry rice killed him when it comes to longevity and team
chemistry
Jerry was one of the hardest workers ever but Terrell didn't need stickum to catch his passes in the early part 9f his career like jerry did
Me personally I’m taking randy moss over everyone
This guy knows when the camera is on. Can’t take away his level but he is no Jerry Rice… both as a player or a teammate (locker room).
