+Ed Berck That is a Hart Hammer made by Hart Dynamics. Basically just a trigger device to which I usually assign a cowbell or woodblock sound. Although this kit has Roland cymbals and Roland TD-20 brain, the actual drum pads are made by Hart Dynamics. Thanks for the comment!
these have a nice sound, and you played the part right. too bad Roland is pricing their biggest fans out. I bought mine (TD -12s) for almost 3 grand. Floor model. The coolest of the coolest that chokes is like 7,500! That's two full Ludwig Bonham kits! With insanely overpriced round Roland rugs! Electronically, I hear they're slapped together like 3 lbs of poo in a 2 lb bag. Some gear is really pretty inside and well-made, but not Roland stuff, apparently. It will last a good 10-15 years, tho without an overhaul. Saying a lot for something expensive you whack with sticks on purpose.
Just unbelievable.
The crash on those Roland's is perfect for this tune🤙🏻
Bernard Purdie.....Larry Carlton........You got it spot on.....sounds fabulous.....

Every time I hear Larry Carlton, I think of the Crusaders of the 1970s.
hey what drum set do you have i see the logo but i cant make out what it is? (the toms and snare)
The drum pads are all Hart Dynamics Pro 6.4. The cymbals and module are Roland.
