Chirp Chirp Kids have been seen toddle/crawling out the front door into the road outside. It was pretty common for me growing up in my neighbourhood. I didn’t,but all the neighbours did.
Which is sad because they need 10 hours of sleep. Junior year, I had depression and didn't sleep. I straight up would have nosebleeds and sleep through my carpool's honking.
And that was one of the causes for my brain tumor getting worse. Part of it was stress but I needed a lot of sleep during those years since they made us wake up at 5 or 6 a.m just to get ready for the bus and then the evil homework they piled up (because my mom put me in advance classes). Once I graduated I was so mad that my school finally changed the school hours to 8 a.m. Like seriously right when I graduated! I'm just happy I'm not in college because the homework for college is a nightmare which would make me have a lot of seizures.
The best part is that amount of sleep is recommended for people the same age as the try guys, but most teenagers should actually, in theory, be getting about 9 hours of sleep
Maybe you have a condition where your brain doesn’t produce enough melatonin as much as it should. It’s the same way how people who are depressed, their brain isn’t producing enough serotonin.
euphoric amber that’s probably accurate. My son is autistic, he’s 14 now and is doing better but, when he was younger, especially a toddler he did not sleep much or well. ArdenBijou That’s really good. Also I know that stress and anxiety can cause trouble sleeping too. My friend has mild autism and he says when he gets stressed out or anxious from his surroundings he ends up having trouble sleeping at night. But then again that might just be a common thing. amber School, work, baby, caring for a sick person, caring for an elderly person........so life. Everyone is doing at least one of those things. Maybe that’s why some people are jerks. They are sleep depr.
On a somewhat serious note, please please please be wary of your health and well being. When I was in high school, a recently graduated senior fell asleep at the wheel and lost his life on the highway while going to work one morning. I know school and work keep us busy and impede sleep schedules. I’m guilty of not getting decent sleep either. But I’ve seen far too many drivers (unintentionally) come close to hurting others, or hurting themselves from just being too tired to physically drive. Stay safe, everyone ❤️
I was shocked at these results. I am a single mom, full-time college student, and I work full-time. So I am tired a lot. I try really hard to take little naps to make sure I never drive tired. But I mean stuff happens. But this has been a real eye-opener and I’m going to be a lot more cautious in the future. Thanks guys.
Heather McFarland I feel the same way. I work a full time job, a part time job, I’m trying to finish a college degree, and I still try to have a social life. I never have sleep and I know I swerve and zone out a lot.
I particularly appreciate Ned in this video. Especially at the beginning when he's twerking on the couch. Ned is proof that you can be married, have a child, be in your 30s, and still goof around and have fun like you're 16. A lot of us younger adults and teens have a negative idea of the 30s or getting older in general, and think that life will boring or that our idea of fun will change. Clearly, growing up doesn't mean that you won't be able to entertain yourself by doing silly things, twerking, and making weird noises. WE gotta appreciate NED more for proving that balance between maturing and being a kid at heart is possible and healthy.
With each new episode of this series The Try Guys are getting increasingly more attached to this stuffed toy dog and I think that's beautiful. Maybe the real test was the friends we made along the way.
I remember driving home after an over night shift followed by a day shift and the whole time, my brain was telling me to just close my eyes for a second. Its crazy to think that even though I was driving a 2 ton car, my brain was more concerned with sleeping than me not dying.
That happened to me too! It was getting too repetitive so I had enough and then quit the job. There were some other factors that made me want to quit the job but that was one of the big factors! I kinda had to take a hiatus and recuperate myself back to my feet because the job just took so much out of me, it was really bad!
I lost my dad just last year due to sleep deprivation while driving. This hit home and I hope this gives awareness to people to get the sleep they need. Thanks Try Guys for doing this series.

The sad thing is when our (speaking from the US) educational systems are set up with early mornings and high expectations weighing on students, late nights are inevitable, and we don't always have a choice of skipping class bc not everyone is so understanding/flexible. The pressures of getting into good colleges and being a straight A's student also don't help and cause students to prioritize grades and getting to school over health and well-being. Options r limited especially when a student: has working parents who can't drive them, doesn't have access to public transportation, or consistent Ubers are not cost effective.
autumn047 Also, you guys spend a LOT of time at school, it’s actually shocking to learn that people leave so late. Here we never left after 6PM and we rarely had a full day of classes - it depended on your schedule but usually you only had mornings/afternoons and had the rest of the day. And since there are so few after school activities and they literally count zero towards getting into university, nobody really cares about them.
also, if you do end up sleeping like one should at a regular time, the crushing guilt of not getting stuff done on time or done at all and the of feeling of failure is mind crushing
In the Philippines, we have 7am classes to 5pm every weekday. And we have extracurriculars and homeworks and projects and shit. Plus we have to be home to our families at maybe 6-7pm because traffic. And that's just from elementary to high school.
where are you from? in my country its a 7AM-3PM. in worst case scenario, the school close at 4PM. even then the assignment means that nearly no time to to anything else on weekday (unless you cheat from your friend, which we all do)
College will come easier or harder to you then coz I go to a college in Taguig and classes are 9am-7pm Monday to Wednesday only. Some colleges/unis do have full on 8am-10pm scheds though but you can just choose your subjects, right? Just do that so you can choose the time scheds that prevent you from going home late.
they say "please get enough sleep" but high schools have busses that come at 6:15 am and homework that lasts until like 2am Right now i'm pulling an all nighter in fear that I won't wake up on time. I don't drive tho so yeet
Yeah it’s actually super in healthy if you ever look into the sleeping habits of teenagers they actually have different sleep schedules then adults and children so the common troupe that teenagers sleep tell noon is actually true it’s how there brains work so the best option to have healthier teens would be to push classes to after noon and reduce the home work but sadly that probably won’t happen to the increased spending they would have to have for buses and I just going to say trying to convince tax payers that they should pay more taxes so teens can sleep longer is going to be a super hard sell even if it’s the right thing to do
Thats a big thing in university too. When I was younger I know I did it and most of my friends where our first semester classes vs our next ones we took so many classes at first, half of us at least just straight up gave up on some. And took way less the next semesters. Or we tried doing morning classes at first then learned our lessons. Sometimes classes everyday and then we'd learn to try and just have more days off or maybe the opposite. more days on but less hours. Yeah all schooling
Oh my god same! I fell asleep in my car parked on the side of the road in an expensive neighborhood (i work as a dog walker so i was there for work) where people call the cops on any "suspicious" car they see, and every time i heard a car go by my heart jumped and i jerked awake ;-;
I remember once I legit feel sleep for like a few seconds on the highway. It was late at night so I was the only one on the road but bitchhhhh, I was struggling.
I've experienced microsleeps while driving before and it was utterly terrifying. I immediately found a services to pull over in and napped for around an hour and I'm so glad I did. I've never driven while seriously sleep deprived since and hope that I never do.
This is why I love my parents. If I go somewhere that’s a bit of a drive they have sat me down and gone “if you get tired I’ll pay for a hotel just don’t be tired and drive”
A close friend of mine died in a car accident the day after he got married (while he was driving to his honeymoon) because he was sleep deprived. Flipped the car twice his wife lived. Nothing is worth driving while sleep deprived. He left his wife of a day widowed. Please everyone think before driving.
Julia Gardikis my parents also got in a car accident driving the night they got married because they were so tired. They survived but the car was completely totaled and they had to buy a new one right at the start of their marriage.
Ngl Eugene going “this is easy, this is easy, I’ve done this a million times” makes me so sad bc it’s like I know he pulls all noghters more frequently than he should, but it just makes me worry for him. I worry for all of them after this

Hi army.

I read this as it played
I was the 1000th like ❤️

Yup....now i need to study more for ap human geo "final," honors bio midterm, anddddd read scene 2 of romeo and juliet ....first 2 for tommarow and the last one for Thursday

School? Yeeeah, it doesn't get any better as you grow up, kid
amber School, work, baby, caring for a sick person, caring for an elderly person........so life.
“got a little chicky. cheep cheep!” was the cutest goddamn thing
That's why I love, love Ned!
Cute but scary at the same time
*WANT TO SEE MY CHICKY?*
Zach: exits car when he hits dog
*pterodactyl screech*
I like how he also had velociraptor hands. He needs to switch from a turtle onesie to a dinosaur one

Best of luck!!
Adriana Barbosa awww thanks
Thats great you got this!!
Heather McFarland I feel the same way. I work a full time job, a part time job, I’m trying to finish a college degree, and I still try to have a social life. I never have sleep and I know I swerve and zone out a lot.
Wow! That’s the definition of a super mom! Bravo 👏🏻!!
!!!!
I love you for this 😭
@@srishtisaharia4164 Thank you!! :)
I love it but it helps A LOT that his job is to be goofy and have fun. He is getting paid for this; this is his work.

With each new episode of this series The Try Guys are getting increasingly more attached to this stuffed toy dog and I think that's beautiful. Maybe the real test was the friends we made along the way.

True
36 hours and no sleep? You mean a university student's normal life?
true
Fell you
Factsss😦
Screw that I'm not in university and this is my life
i felt that
I remember driving home after an over night shift followed by a day shift and the whole time, my brain was telling me to just close my eyes for a second.

@@duke2 oh my goddd -_-
The sad thing is when our (speaking from the US) educational systems are set up with early mornings and high expectations weighing on students, late nights are inevitable, and we don't always have a choice of skipping class bc not everyone is so understanding/flexible.
Just do that so you can choose the time scheds that prevent you from going home late.
they say "please get enough sleep" but high schools have busses that come at 6:15 am and homework that lasts until like 2am
Right now i'm pulling an all nighter in fear that I won't wake up on time. I don't drive tho so yeet
Exactly what I was about to post
I mean same my friend? Like I wake up at 5:50 everyday but lots of time it's like 5:10 if I want makeup. The beds like 3 am
I used to get up at 3:00am and go to bed late because of homework.
11:51 Ned loses focus and has a consensual workplace interaction
The first 5 minutes is literally straight out of a horror movie

Oh my god same! I fell asleep in my car parked on the side of the road in an expensive neighborhood (i work as a dog walker so i was there for work) where people call the cops on any "suspicious" car they see, and every time i heard a car go by my heart jumped and i jerked awake ;-;

Thats so sad
