Waltz: yet not as strong as me
Waltz later: gets yeeted by Aidens punches and can't even bring down 1hp from Aiden with his attacks.
If Aiden perma turns he is avengers level threat to any community he comes accross after leaving the city 😂 and i thought night hunter would be bad news.

Nah the Night Hunter would be leagues ahead of him, it’s stronger, faster and more agile and it has tendrils that act as grappling hooks and an engagement.
@@deathwingthedestroyer3632 Def not stronger, its slam is less impressive than that of Waltz who got slammed by Aiden hard, and even weaker Aiden hits in turned state were devastating while night hunters slashes are very weak. Agility is controvertial. Aiden can jump higher and way further regardless on enviorment that tendrills rely on. All night hunter has is speed of getting around because of the tendrills. But nothing from combat standpoint besides ambush against survivors while Aiden is brute strength and durability rather than ambusg predator. If the community is on a field night hunter couldn't do anything because it loses its ambush and tendril escape abilities, turned Aiden would still leap because his abilities dont rely on things that can be grappled ,and cause trouble with just pure strength
@@damnsonwheredyoufindthis.3830 Perhaps since they’ve been infected by a newer strain, however the night hunter may have also evolved alongside the volatiles.
@@deathwingthedestroyer3632 Aiden can BISECT someone with a swing of his arm. IN ONE HIT. not even volatiles do that. The night hunter sure as hell can't do that.
Aiden's strain combined with the experiments done to him by waltz as a child make him the strongest infected likely in the dying light world.
If you use any mods to play as infected Aiden you'll see he even one shots volatiles which is insane

I dont find Waltz to be a bad guy, not a good one, but not a bad one either
He turned fucking nuts after the things that city done to him. He knows he can't cure his daughter so he wants to take revenge from the city.
In my opinion, he wasn't really a bad guy. He was just a dad that was so desperate in finding a cure for his daughter and when that opportunity was taken away by the GRE, that's when he had to do everything even if it means doing the worst things just to continue his research and save his daughter.

10:03 Honestly, after I'd heard that, it was at that point obvious to me that Aiden and Waltz share the same backstory.
I mean "Aiden, you're alive", how does Waltz even know Aiden's name and why is he positively surprised that he's alive.
Now, If Lawan hadn't shot Waltz, they most likely would've ended up working together. I hope this is what exactly one of the DLC's will contain. A new route in which Aiden and Waltz would work together.

@@iker9148 Then you know Aiden wasn't just an "experiment subject" like the other children. Not only was Aiden a friend of Waltz's daughter, but at the same time both promised each other that they will stick together.
Lawan made such a big mistake. Rule n1- don't make my dad angry!

I thought Waltz had telekinesis cause aitor was standing still until I realized Aitor wasn’t moving

I honestly think that they could make endings and the final choice between them to have more impact by giving the player a choice to join the Waltz.
Aiden discovers the truth that Waltz is trying to cure Mia, and the X13 facility can save her. And, potentially, Waltz might continue to develop a cure to the virus.
With that, the final choice will have a huge impact. The GRE key is destroyed, so missile launch cannot be aborted. And player has to decide what to sacrifice. A city of Villedor, full of innocent people. Or the X13 facility, which can be the key for saving the humanity

Yes. A way for Waltz to survive and save Mia through the development of a new antidote and possibly.. to save humanity. F*** that Village full of traitors and backstabbers! Sure enough the Nightrunners will be sacrificed aswell but if it's the decision between a village or the greater good..
Also can we please get rid of Lawan way sooner in the story? It always felt to me during my playthrough that she is kinda a forced character and she is always interfering with what I have in mind/ want to do. And dont get me started about all these times Aiden makes weird decisions and fights with people on his own while I dont get a choice to change anything about it... it's quite annoying.
@@_Hun1er_ my biggest disappointment from this game was that the only way to get Lawan killed also involves killing my poor boy Hakon.
Who was blamed by everyone for doing the reasonable thing and not sticking with Frank's plan. Which was a pure suicide. Even Aiden, with his super powers, almost died in the VNC Tower.
Why didn't they do the smart thing and climb the tower from outside? They had all the time in the world to do so. Or quietly climb in the elevator shaft. Instead, they walked right into trap. And the Nightrunners would be completely wiped out if the Hakon never objected.

@@thedoomslayer5863 it was only a possibility of success. More likely that if all of Night Runners were in the VNC tower, then all of them would die.
This raid was pure suicide. The Peace Keeperes were wiped in a couple of minutes. Even Aiden with his super abilities nearly died.
And then comes the plothole. Our protagonist finally climbs the tower to turn on the radio, losing his allies. And then the Mary Sue of this game - Lawan, appears an hour later, complaining that "she ruined her shoes". Like, WTF?
Waltz’s voice actor did a good job as him. I genuinely found him entertaining, even though the writing was not that good
I remember how cocky i got after killing the combat tutorial renegades that when i was warned Waltz is coming i thought "pff whoever it is i'll end him no diff, blocking and dodging is easy, i don't wanna run" and after seeing him send the dude flying with 1 punch and decimate Aitors squad later i went 😳 "perhaps i overestimated my power"
Yeah that moment shows why they said "if waltz catches you Aiden he will kill you"
Aiden's infection had to get VERY FAR before he could 1v1 waltz

When I got to X13 and saw all the cutscenes there, I was getting the feeling Waltz was Aiden and Mia’s father then once I recapped everything, I cracked it. What a good storyline there

The raw emotion in that line is amazingly well acted
They picked a fantastic voice actor for Waltz. Demetri Goritsas was perfect for this role lol
everyone was fighting for something.
A cool detail during the boss fight at 24:49 is that if you fall off the platform, Waltz actually won't chase you and will only attack when you come back - he really doesn't want to kill you.

idk know why, but after finishing dying light 2 some time ago i had a reflection about Waltz. I think he wasn't a bad guy at all, he only wanted to save his daughter and humanity.

It's insane that Waltz and Aiden had such a strong connection, along with the fact that Mia is Waltz's daughter.
i still don't get it, does that mean that aiden is waltz's son? or that mia was never his sister
