If I had four of your drawings on this paper, I would want to put each one on a different side of a lantern. I would place a flameless candle inside and then hang it. Then these amazing drawings would become my entire environment.
I love it when they lie flat and have a softcover. Am I the only one who keeps all these little and big cardboards that come with things because they will definitely draw on them one day but they never do so they have their own corner of shame under the desk? Ooh I like the splashy design!!
woo hoo! Peter Draws AND posts videos! The second piece reminds me of something you'd see on the corner of a street in Hong Kong or Mumbai: wires and signs everywhere, stacked up and pieced together, street signs, merchant signs, wires to the stop lights and to the light poles, all winding around each other and intertwined, in a fizzy knot that looks like it's bound to spark or arc out.
The onion-skin-thin paper is something I've been after for a while. Maybe you could doodle in layers of pages, and build up a scene or city from what you see-through ...?
the uncontrolled macro lines you made look fun to make. I've been stuck using a brush pen so that i can cover more area, but i like this way a small pen can set off a pattern.. well Maybe its like a mini declaration of energy and then exploring it through, and its like your way of hopeful unstuckness! Happy seeing you Peter
I have translucent Japanese paper with patterns from Daiso, they are classed as folk art origami but I use them for crafts. I have lots of chiyogami papers they are thicker and have wonderful patterns, colours and gold accents. Other than tracing and parchment vellum I have yet to find onion skin paper. Here in the UK we don't celebrate Thanksgiving. The hype for Black Friday and Cyber Monday sort of die down it used to be crazy. People hoarding LED TVs and tech. I'm into making Junk journals for collaging and mixed media.
That paper looks pretty fantastic! Great video! I don't think that I've seen a handheld camera on your channel since you pointed a camcorder at a sizzling hotdog. 😀
"Sometimes new people exist that didn't use to" and "Sometimes people that did exist, stop existing" felt oddly soothing. I've recently lost my father to depression so it really does feel like it's just that "simple" of phrasing. There's just something really calming about your voice, your words and the way your pen glides across the paper like it has its' own train of thought. I appreciate you 🤍
Last year I had eggnog with fireball cinnamon liquor in it. Very good. I'm sure you could add cinnamon flavouring instead of the alcohol. Or red hots! Remember the little red candies? Or the cinnamon jolly ranchers (fire?)
Peter Deligdisch. With such profound talent and craziness looks in your eyes, may i ask a simple question, why arn't you NO 1 artist in disny or pixar animation companies ????!!!!!!!
That thumbnail of Peter with his face deep in his new sketchbook breathing in the scent is so … Peter. The uninformed viewer might think it’s simply a mysterious image of a man behind a book, but we followers know exactly what’s going on - SNIFF TEST!! 😊
I have 2 brothers and both of my sister in laws are pregnant right now, so I’m gonna have a niece and nephew in a few months. It’s so weird to think about 2 new ppl coming into existence. I’m very excited
@@peter_drawsI checked that video out!! Can you also tell me which models of books this company sent you??? I want to try one but not sure what to go with
Hullo Peter, I do enjoy your videos and seeing you work in one of these books was quite nice. I believe it feels like it accepts your style and your way of working. I did enjoy the cinematography in this video new technique? Camera? Operator? Please take care and I will be seeing you next video!
Kids senses develop in waves, so yes your neuro/nervous system grows to both detect and appreciate more complex flavours as you grow older. Kids also detect a less complex spectrum of colours when they’re little, which is why babies and toddlers are so drawn to brightly coloured things, and as we get older our taste develops for more subtle sub-tones. It’s not just existential malaise that makes us find solace in a maudlin grey or a drab taupe. And as for learning more and becoming more open minded, this is both about neural development as well as attitude. Lots and LOTS of people, unfortunately, become more closed minded the older they get.
Peter! Long time fan here I was wondering if you could do another video of more of your favorite books for inspiration! I'm currently looking to add more to my collection!
Love your random questions. Taste buds shrink and become fewer with age. Injuries and illness may cause a significant change. It is quite normal to enjoy more things as you age. Of course there are more nurturing events with the natural events but then this not a paper toward a PHD!
Macklemoore draws, what what, his gonna pop some sketch books, I'm I'm huntin' lookin for a sketch book. This is f'cken awesome, Walk up to the club like "What up, I got a few sketch books" Nah, I'm just pumped, I bought some sketch books from a Etsy shop
i'd love to see you try the tomoe river paper - it's famous in the fountain pen hobby for pretty much being the best fountain pen paper. you probably knew that already, but still! it's also pronounced "toe-moe-ay" =) i gotta try out these sketchbooks
if you want to pronounce it like a japanese person would, both "o"'s are pronounced like in the word "top" and the "e" like the second "e" in the word "except", maybe there's a better way to explain but english is my second language lol
Peter, it would be amazing to see you drawling one day in the future and a little hand reach up on the desk. The hand of your interested child, and your gal in the background. It would be fun to see you grow in that direction, and I bet you would have some incredible inspiration. Or maybe not. Up to you of course! I love your videos and your art! I wish I could see you draw things under pressure, like if you had to do some movie or cartoon art, a bunch of billboard art, specific something with a cool background, art with people in it, space opera or industrial with a theme, castle, fairy tale, imps and elves, whatever. It is just so fun to see what you come up with with all your designs. Egg nogg add rum
There is a video called "Christmas Holiday Cocktails" by the channel "The Bonneville Cocktail Collection" They have a recipe for eggnog which is pretty awesome, always a winner at christmas parties. Their mulled wine is also very good
Every cell in your entire body changes every 7 years. I didn't like peanut butter when i was young, or oatmeal. But i can eat them now. Sometimes together!
Egg Nog is bomb, but you gotta try Coquito. It’s a Puerto Rican style egg nog, I guess you would say, no eggs, you could probably put some if you want, but it’s made with coconut milk, coconut cream, and rum.. bomber, indeed
Are you born again Peter? I love your cross necklace. I’ve been lurking on your channel for a few years now and After a long time of being MIA I clicked on this video randomly and after just graduating Bible college entering in the ministry it warms my heart to see that you might be a believer
From a psych standpoint at least we're taught that taste buds do change, or at least our brains perception of tastes changes. One example specifically was I was told that there's an evolutionary advantage to why children tend to like monotone foods (Foods that don't have a lot of additional flavors or a kind of bland) Eating foods that are simple and flavor and not venturing out much would've helped prevent children from being poisoned in a hunter gatherer type environment. So kids not liking like ketchup on a burger, but being willing to try the bun, try the meat, and literally eat the ketchup each on their own is protective. As we get older we venture out more and more, and are able to enjoy more flavors mixed together because we get more complex pallets and would be able to better tell if a food item may be unsafe

1. Looks like the paper curls quite a bit as you draw. Though you don't look to be pushing very hard. 2. Tastebuds slowly die during your life. At later stages, you tolerate tastes that you didn't earlier.
Do you have a video that demo's a variety of fountain pens with flexible nibs? I am looking for a fountain pen that can write/draw really fat lines and am interest in what your recommendations would be for fountain pens that specialize in flexible nibs.
Also the person who sent me the sketchbooks just told me they’ll be doing a 30% off sale from Dec. 1-4, on their Etsy shop
I love this especially the opening. For us, opening new pads is like a opening a special bottle of wine for a connoisseur! Delightful!
Haha yes, that’s why I gotta sniff em 😁
Love the gentle letter opener 🗡
I was going to call it small and handy, but gentle is much better. 😊

beautiful, amazing, marvelous
Really glad you got some Tomoe River, Peter! That's one of the most sought after papers for fountain pens. Thanks for another great video
I genuinely love the tomoe river paper. So crisp and thin. I write on it often and have a heavy hand so I use a board under the page.
Peter is like a dripped out Willy Wonka who's craft is art instead of chocolate.
LOVE THAT HAHHAHA
I'd guess Peter would wear that as a badge of honor. A dude from Willy Wonka .😅 he's definitely a horse of a different color ❤
