The magnet really is already attached to the car via the metal arm, so any attractive force between the metal and the magnet can be viewed as forces of attraction between the truck and the truck. The truck is essentially attracted to itself, cancelling out the net force.
But what if the arm is plastic?; it would be two separate entities(I understand since I have to weld and understand what happens when metal is connected electrically by basically laying one peice on top of another.

The issue is your working with equal forces in both directions, meaning if you dampen something in one direction it will have the opposite effect in the other causing the net force to still be zero and nothing to happen. The only way to ge the magnet to move the car is to seperate the magnet from the car and fixed in position. As the car approaches the magnet you turn the magnet off and turn on another magnet further along, as the magnet is passed you reverse the polarity of the magnet so it pushes instead of pulls, and continue this process. This is now a magnetic train.
I mean the magnet wouldn't work either cuz it's attached to the truck. If it was separate and someone pushed it at the same speed it pulled the truck you could maybe move it but it's still powered.

The problem with the magnet is that either the object will move towards a stationary magnet or the magnet will pull the target with its magnetic field. The magnet is fixed on a pole so there is not movement of objects since the car isn’t able to move towards the magnet and the magnet isn’t traveling backwards to pull the car with its magnetic field

Different rules apply to different structures. It would work, but only if you attached a powerfully enough magnet to the back of another car and made the back of your car heavier then the front. It's the same reason that a sailboat won't move with a fan attached to it's back. Because the magnets are moving towards each other, so the forward magnet would have to be moving as well for the rear magnet to move as well.

The force is neutral because the magnet is anchored to the vehicle. The force of the arm keeping the magnet away from the truck is actually pushing the truck away from the magnet at equal force.
Actually if you very quickly plug that powerstrip from the power source into itself, there will be a loop of electricity. Its obviously extremely fast though and allmost instantly looses all energy.

Well, the same concept that on how coil guns have recoil dispite in some of them, the projectile doesn't touch the barrel. When a magnet attracts a metal object to it, it is also attracted to the metal object itself. Ie, when you put a magnet on a fridge, the magnet pulls itself to the fridge because it weighs too much to move. If you had a magnet that was strong enough to pull a car, the car and magnet would move towards each other when released. Now, if the magnet was instead attached, they would still be attracted to each other, but they wouldn't move similar to if you glued a metal bar to 2 rc cars. They be trying to move towards each other, and if not for the metal rod, they would move towards each other. So the reason a car with a magnet doesn't work is because the magnet and car are attracted to each other equally, and the part connecting them together resists it and keeps them stationary.
Even if that wasn't mechanically the same as pulling your shoes up to fly, magnets can create continuous motion, but that's not free energy, it uses up the energy put into magnetizing it and the magnet gets weaker.
I remember when I was a kid I dreamed of inventing an infinite energy device. I knew it was impossible, but I was just curious. I learned about coiled charged wire creating a levitating magnet from a ball bearings, and I learned that the opposite was true about a magnet passing through a coiled copper wire producing a current. And I learned that the amplitude increased with the number of coils. So I drew up a design for a ring of interwoven wires, two uncharged coils for every charged coil, with a ball bearing inside to act as the electromagnet. Btw, if you put a magnet and a car like that, the lower mass of the magnet means that the magnet is pulled towards the car rather than the other way around. If the arm (and its joints) are too weak against compression to resist it, the magnet will reach the car. If not, then there's just an unresolved magnetic force between them.

Magnet to the car explaination: Nothing happens or the magnet breaks off, depending on if the force of the magnet is stronger or the oposing force of the attatchment holding the pull or I suppose push if that was your goal back.
Newton's third law: Every action has an equal and opposite reactions. In the case of the magnets, the force if the magnet on the car evokes an equal force in the opposite direction of the magnet. Assuming your attatchment doesnt break it's the same as how if you pull two magnets apart in your hands the force together feels equal on both sides.

The problem with the magnet is that either the object will move towards a stationary magnet or the magnet will pull the target with its magnetic field. The magnet is fixed on a pole so there is not movement of objects since the car isn’t able to move towards the magnet and the magnet isn’t traveling backwards to pull the car with its magnetic field

Different rules apply to different structures. Point is to look at the position of the object/s in motion or in stasis and then observe the surroundings to see what variables are at play and how those factors will affect the object/s.

The reason it doesnt work is because of newton's third law of motion. Both magnets are pulling just as hard on each other, cancelling each other out. This results in no movement in any direction.

One of two possibilities (yes I'm overthinking a joke, just let me have this):
1 - The arm holding the magnet is flexible (or just weak) and bends inwards to meet the magnet on the car.
2 - The arm is inflexible and stronger than the magnetic force between the magnets, and yet again nothing happens (unless something susceptible to magnets enters into a proximity close enough to one of the magnets for the magnetic force on the object to exceed it's weight, and said object is attracted to said magnet.)

Well, the same concept that on how coil guns have recoil dispite in some of them, the projectile doesn't touch the barrel. When a magnet attracts a metal object to it, it is also attracted to the metal object itself. Ie, when you put a magnet on a fridge, the magnet pulls itself to the fridge because it weighs too much to move.
If you had a magnet that was strong enough to pull a car, the car and magnet would move towards each other when released. Now, if the magnet was instead attached, they would still be attracted to each other, but they wouldn't move similar to if you glued a metal bar to 2 rc cars. They be trying to move towards each other, and if not for the metal rod, they would move towards each other. So the reason a car with a magnet doesn't work is because the magnet and car are attracted to each other equally, and the part connecting them together resists it and keeps them stationary.
Even if that wasn't mechanically the same as pulling your shoes up to fly, magnets can create continuous motion, but that's not free energy, it uses up the energy put into magnetizing it and the magnet gets weaker.

So I drew up a design for a ring of interwoven wires, two uncharged coils for every charged coil, with a ball bearing inside to act as the electromagnet. I showed my science teacher the design and asked him what would happen. He was actually so impressed and explained that it wouldn’t create electricity, but rather convert amperage into voltage, and that what I’d designed was an old fashioned electrical transformer. I honestly just assumed he’d say “Nothing. It wouldn’t work” but he was really impressed and I was so proud. I guess he must’ve been pleased to see a student really thinking about his lessons.

If the arm (and its joints) are too weak against compression to resist it, the magnet will reach the car. If not, then there's just an unresolved magnetic force between them.
