- In Today's Video, I Went through How I Built My Dream Aquarium! After 2 years of hardships I'm glad I can finally share with you what it took to construct this Beast! Knowing what I know now I would 1000% do things differently but at the end of the day I am so thankful that everything worked out and I was able to learn from my mistakes along the way! If you have any questions on the build don't be afraid to them ask below! Also if this Video somehow gets over 10k Likes I will buy a $2,000 Platinum Alligator Gar for the Pond!

I hope you guys enjoyed this weeks upload! If this video somehow gets 10k likes I Will buy a $2,000 Platinum Gar!
Would you consider some removable decoration so the fish gets something else to than a plain environment? fake plants, sunken wood...
If food gets expensive, they are other DIY ways I think.
Well the video is not really what the title says _ I wanted to see constructon info - instead we got a fish feeding video
Really love that green/yellow pacu. Haven’t seen any like that in anyone else’s collection. It’s stunning.
Predatory fins had the green ones on sale
Thank you! It’s a true black pacu! Its largest growing species of pacu in the World!
@@MonsterFishKing need to tell Paul Cuffaro to get one for his pond too. The regulars and albinos are cool, but that one looks so much better
Dang Mate only $15 a month is brutal… Keep at it and We’ll Continue to Support You Every Week!
The Fish Mural would be so Sick!
The pond looks incredible 🔥🔥
Thank you so much! I can’t wait till we’re able to start adding all kinds of decor and substrate for the fish!
@@MonsterFishKing that will be awesome!!!! Can’t wait to see it
Banger 🎉
Thanks brother!
So cool 😊 when I get to 1,000, I'm getting a big pond for a native fish setup
I got a native 90 gallon
@@Breydwildlife nice
So cool! What native fish do you plan on keeping ?
@@MonsterFishKing crappie, sunfish and Catfish
My senior year of highschool (20 years ago) I had a free period that I just used taking care of fish tanks in the science wing. One giant tank I had set up as a community tank, another had an existing full grown oscar and hog nosed soft shell turtle. For my purposes these were monsters. I had some convicts in the community tank and moved a few fry to the monster tank. They did so incredibly well in there. After the first batch grew to be feed sized I would throw them in from the community tank and they would immediately get eaten, but the fry that grew up with the monsters were used to just avoiding them, and picked up scraps and algae and really grew fast and looked fat and happy.
In the georgia aquarium they have guppies in with the gators. I wish more monster keepers would just add something cheap and small that will reproduce in the tank to more closely mimic what happens in the wild.
Keep em coming and we’ll support you! Hard to keep track when it’s super inconsistent though. Great content keep it up
Thank you! I’ve been trying to consistently upload every Saturday at 10 am EST! I work 6 days a week so sometimes I get behind and miss and upload but I appreciate you all sticking with me!
Nice
Wow, my new favorite monster pond! OFR has a great one but they don't have the windows! How am I barely seeing this now?
Thanks Anthony! OFR is truly amazing! I visited this fall and I was blown away… I believe they have over a 100,000 gallons of aquariums at their house!
THATS epic, however you should add sand because it can help poop decompose Underneath, I know that you probably can’t add plants due to those monster fish but you could always try bald cypress trees and just trim em. And if you can’t add plants or sand maybe just a few rocks that they maybe hide? Or just swim around
a big 'ol red flagtail would go crazyyy in that aquarium and help with the inevitable algae growth
any decor goin into the tank so doesnt look like a pool...be cool see the fish swim thru caves and wood like natural habitat
I second this
Yes! Eventually it will look like the Amazon river! Big boulders, fallen Trees and sand bottom!
Love that tank it epic 😂😂😂So funny ❤❤
Thank you for watching!
Hey, I got to say your tank is looking freaking amazing. Peace.
Thank you so much! ❤️
Imagine that pond as a salt water reef pond. Wow.
That would be insane! Trust me if I could afford it I would do it!
Predatory fins have some amazing fish in stock at moment. Just saying 😂👍🏻🏴
It seems like they always have something crazy rare coming in! I kinda want a golden goonch catfish 😆
Remember bro you can also feed the pacu different fruits and nuts
U need to catch there food 😂😂😂😂❤❤
Go to your local fish market see the best deal they can do for food. The tank looks great.
Will do thank you!
First
Put a notice up on a billboard if your have a high school/college for art students, you might be shocked by the response. Peace
get some mahseer fish as well , they will love the space
They would look so cool! Have you ever seen the blue masheer when they get like 2ft ?
@@MonsterFishKing oh yeah and you out of allpeople have the space to house them
Awesome pond mate! How come you didn't use concrete blocks laid flat vs wood? I built my 3000 gallon this way with gravity fed drains and it only cost about $10,000. I have noticed most American builds seem to use wooden frame. its been running about 11 months now.
Thank you! Honestly I have no idea why we didn’t look into that more. When I had this idea I had met some people that were “professional pond builders” and they told me that they could be a plywood pond no problem and turns out they had no idea what they were doing. It was a disaster…
Some structure would be nice
Coming soon…
Check your Ph. You may need to epoxy the walls. The gunite concrete makes ph too high for some fish
Thankfully everything is in check! I probably should’ve mentioned it but we used mar-site as a finish! We let it cure for a month and then did fill test and let anything harmful leach into the water before draining and refilling it to add our first fish!
Dang you rich
This statement couldn’t be more false 😂
Can you tell us more about your filtration system for a pond that big?
Yes I will in an upcoming video!
One jump or splash from one of those fish near that TV and it’ll be curtains for it😂
No Kidding 🤣
Is there a reason for not having plants or some other decor to make the fish have a more natural environment?
Got to get a golden Dorado
I love them! That would be so
Sick
Can you show your filtration on it
Yes I will soon!
mip
Get a fresh water stingray
Soon 🤝
Get a arapaima
We have one on the way brother 😛
Add some decor. It looks so boring inside that tank.
This is phase 1! In the coming months we will be adding sand, rock and driftwood so it looks like the Amazon river!
Hey! I dont like beijng the critical guy but.... get a net or something over that pond... arowanas are known for jumpung out... i dont want a "i lost my fish" video i want the happy "look at what works great" ones rather!
Best wishes from Sweden!
Thank you for looking out for me man! I actually have a covering that goes over the pond but it doesn’t let any light in so I take it off when I film! I thinking about switching to a net just so I don’t have to remove it every time!
@@MonsterFishKing Well you can make a frame with a net thats easily raised for videos etc.. i know just brainstorming now! but i love to see stuff like this and i know the history you had... best wishes!
@@mattiashellstrom4682 Thank you my Friend! I appreciate you given helpful advice! Hope to see you comeback for next Saturdays video! It’s going to be an interesting one 😂
@@MonsterFishKing I will be here 😏
Yeah building it in wood first was a waste of time and money! You should have just used block!
I agree! A plywood aquarium can definitely be achieved but when it comes to longevity it’s hard to beat a concrete aquarium!
Come to watch an epic tank build videos,
Left disappointed with just a feeding video 👎
Every video is going to be a little different. If I just talk about the tank the whole time people are going to get bored of the same thing. I hope you will one day realize what it takes to make these videos! I’m not a famous actor or story teller. This is just me being me documenting my fish keeping journey! I’m a one man team so you may want to adjust your expectations a little!
