In the US, higher education is paid. In Russia, it is possible to complete several stages of education free of charge: secondary vocational, specialty, magistracy, postgraduate study. I'm from the phillipines, and i'm planning that i'll study in us but i hope i'll meet some good friends. and I'm taking senior high school.
These rankings are BS. U of Chicago is not ahead of Yale. No way is Stanford number 2. MIT Harvard and Yale are top three. You left out Brown and Dartmouth which are ahead of Stanford.
