Alexander Cameron Rutherford, University of Alberta, and the provincial government in the early nineteen hundred are a joke. The reason why University of Calgary is top 9 because The government DID NOT want University of Alberta to have competition and afraid that if they allowed City of Calgary to established their university in 1908, University of Alberta would be in top 9 and University of Calgary would be in top 4 today.
As an Edmontonian, I feel ashamed and sorry for the Calgarians. Not only they unsuccessfully win the capital but also the University of Alberta.
