this improvement in Indian volleyball happened only because of pro volley introduced last year. Keep supporting pro volley if u really wanna see volleyball grow in India.
Indian Volleyball gonna stay like this forever if the same federation keep working like this.
In india the hypocrite people will only love a lame game like cricket. That is why Indian volley team only managed to pull out only few sets in the entire tournament of Tokyo qualification.

don't trust the rankings.. Indian team is better than that.. Volleyball is the #1 sport in Indian Universities and Colleges alongside Kabaddi. In terms of Rankings.. even Srilanka and Pakistan are around 40-50 in rankings.. I guess India plays often against best hard opponents like Aus, lose by close margins that affects rankings while less dangerous teams compete against themselves and earn rankings.

Cricket isn't under Sports Authority of India.. No use blaming them.. Its us who need to consider other sports in India and support them.. It all comes down to Viewrship at the end, which indirectly help in the development of that particular sport !

Amazing to see this level of improvement in the quality of our sports. Soon Insallah India will over take China and Russia in the medals Tally at Olympics. Can't wait for that day. We I believe can be the greatest sporting nation in the world one day soon. Unlike China and Russia we dont genetically engineer our athletes and dont raise them in oppressive state sponsored programs. Our sports is the free spirit of a free country showing to the world that they could only only hurt us because they could divide us. Now we stand United. The fact that this video gets 4 million views shows that India has potential viewers of every sports. If India is provided good facilities training and support then this and start performing better than volleyball will boom in India. Some people just criticise cricket for everything. But it's not the case. If cricket was not popular in India then also the condition of other sports would have been same.

No country is better in Volleyball than Brazil and its is also a Developing country. Although Brazil have one of the best soccer team (5 times WC champ) and also the best Volleyball team (recent WC champs) , while Indians are just worshipping their Idols of only one game ,i.e., Cricket.

The team's quite good, especially the setter. Those tosses are obviously perfect, besides his dumps aren't easy to pick either. Indian volleyball has a promising future.
Our team has improved its cohesion compared to the last tournaments. We are overall much better at reception. Our hitters are really good. But we need to have more block follows and a better setter. Most of the tosses are out of sync with the hitters and seem to be rushed and they were predictable as well. Without a great setter we are simply wasting our powerful hitters.
