  • Even though everyone told me there wouldn't be crab around I gave it a shot. Through a few methods, I managed to land a couple make a marinade and grill them up for a perfect spring day and meal.

Grilled crabs is my favorite way to eat them. Baste with old bay garlic butter combo, toss on some panko crumbs and Parmesan cheese at the end. Only drawback is the meat sticks to the shell way more than steaming. Tougher to pick, but delicious. Thanks for the video!

Hay will I watched your craving video you did ok using a drop line the next time try dropping your line straight down don't throw your line out because when you pull it in the crab will be drawing on the sand or rocks that will make the crab to run and get off the bait try dropping the line straight down this way the crab will be feeling any rocks and other stuff that's at the bottom of the water pull the crab up really slow with one hand and scoop the crab 🦀 in the other hand and scoop him with the other hand with the net that's how I used to do it I am not telling you how to do it I am just saying that's how I did it plus you said you never grilled crab before. I never tried it before either I liked 👍 that video good job😊

We have a super nice man made, regularly stocked, city pond here in the desert and every time I go people just suck leaving all the lines, leaders, soft plastics, and everything you can think of on the bank. Instead of packing out their trash, they deposit cups, cans, bags and everything else in the pvc line disposal receptacles.

Hey CWC! What you need is a crab snare:
    th-cam.com/video/rAgpxitB5gA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=OTsH-KSxdN0eeM6b
Very commonly used for dungeness crab off the coast of California. I would check with someone at NY Fish & Wildlife to see if they're allowed, though- they are illegal in Maryland, for example. Hope this helps! ❤
(BTW- Big thumbs up on discovering Marie Sharp's- their sauces are the BOMB!)

I am so envious of your fisheries, we are forbidden any type of recreational crab or lobster fishing. Even catching the invasive European Green crabs is technically illegal here.

You must have Amish in your area. They don't care about rules and regulations

Aloha. I’m embarrassed to say, but fishermen are the worst about trash. Never understood it because it just doesn’t make sense to me.
