    In this video we show you the full start-up procedure for the Cabri G2 helicopter as we run through the checklist. This was conducted using the current Helicentre checklist at the time. Do not use this video for training as there is a lot more that goes into getting an aircraft off the ground. This video is intended for entertainment purposes only!
    Disclaimer:
    I am not a flying instructor so my video content is for pleasure only and not to be used for training as editing removes context. Be aware some flight-critical checks and radiotelephony may have been edited out but are always completed on the actual flight. The checklist used in this video is now out of date with Helicentre as it has since been modified. All video content is my own and music used has been downloaded from Epidemic Sound where I have a TH-cam subscription.

    Nice to have you back buddy - interesting little video and insight, thank you👍😊😊
    Being a piston engine, start up is very similar to a fixed wing - apart of course from the rotor related elements😊👍

      Thank you and yes, the clutch element is only really the extra bit.

    I feel your pain with the Audio. Lost it on my last video too! Think I need a checklist for AV as well as the aircraft!

      It can be hit and miss sometimes. Very frustrating when I have to mess with cameras to create good content haha.

      @@TheMicroPilot Also 'TheMicropilot' discount helped me out recently with Zulu 3 upgrade. Amazing how much difference ANR makes. Though no excuses for me to not understand radio calls anymore!

    Engineers should slap on an Xbox controller to every vehicle. I'd fly, drive and ride everything like a pro 🤣

    WHAT is the best and least expensive home helicopter flight trainer.?

    • @TheMicroPilot
      @TheMicroPilot  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not sure to be honest. As a teenager I got a lot out for just flying my basic flight simulator with a joystick and pedals. You could never fly the real thing safely without proper flight instruction first.

    Cost of earning Helicopter pilot license is more than fixed wing but job opportunities are less than fixed wing pilot

    • @TheMicroPilot
      @TheMicroPilot  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      End to end cost is actually about the same as fixed wing if you're going fully commercial (yes PPL is more) and opportunities are about the same (less jobs but also less people than fixed wing).

      Not our choice I’m afraid. This was company policy. Bear in mind this was just after lockdown!

    I can tell you both now if one of you have Omicron those masks aren't going to save the other from catching it ! But hey, we're keeping ourselves safe right WHO ?

      Just a cough and feeling a bit crap for a week. The population has been fooled. Wait for the next stage. The 'masks' are the least of anyone's worries. Apart from that, interesting vid.

    Why wear bank robber face masks. Most odd.
