I'm not a hunter myself but I really enjoyed that video. The lead up to your prize and walking us through it .Felt like I was right there with you 👍.Thanks.
Great Video. To be outstanding in your field, you have to spend time out standing in your field. Nothing beats practice. Also some thought and self criticism helps. At the end of the day ask yourself, what worked well and what didn't. Learning to "observe" rather than just looking is another skill. Keep the videos coming.
Thanks JC. That's definitely really helpful. I've only managed to get one goat so far and watching this has given me some things to think about. Not been out for several months so need to work on my fitness too I reckon! Cheers!
Hi from kiwi from Cambridge living perth bow hunt here wa good vid bro. Good tip on boots. Taught us nz army look after your feet they your wheels happy safe hunting bro
Hey big fella love your vids, at the 16.40 mark you're talking about dipping your hat so they can't see your eyes, you're right on the mark, the reason they freak out if they see your eyes is that all preditors have eyes facing forwards as opposed to grass eaters that have their eyes on the sides, just my 2 cents ( scents ) lol.... 👍👍
Goats have pretty good eyes - they can pick up movement really well. Also found that you don't stare at them with murderous/killing thoughts - sounds crazy but true. If they have be totally rarked up - they will use those eyes to spot you and be gone. Nice video
Hey mate I was wondering if you hunt on public land. Or do you have private property. I want to hunt on private property but I don’t have any land or family members to ask
Hey bud, I have a couple of private properties that I have hunting access on, but also hunt on a lot of public land. If you want to hunt private property, but don't want to go the route of paid hunting, it's really as simple as buying a box of beer, dressing decent, speaking politely, and knocking on doors, and don't forget to respect people's right to say no, not everyone agrees with hunting 👍
@@jchunting ah that’s wonderful advice. What parts of NSW are best for hunting goats and deer, or any National park recommendations for these species. Is it ok to simply walk upto a landowners house and introduce yourself?
@@rp4712 I'm in New Zealand, so I don't know anything about NSW. I don't see a problem with just walking up to a property owners house, just make sure you have that box of beer with ya 👍
In this video they are just an off the shelf Victory RIP Gamer arrow from an archery store in Auckland Central, now I run a custom built Black Eagle Deep Impact arrow, made by Attitude Archery in West Auckland.
Hey mate, it's better than going to the store and buying meat from a goat that spent its whole life locked up just to be slaughtered. At least this one lived in the wild and is much healthier to eat. If you're vegan or vegetarian, don't mind what you just read! 😅

Awesome man and some solid info
Thanks! 🤙
loved the video. Subbed
Thanks a lot, I appreciate it! 🤙
Awesome videos mate, just wondering why you mention yards instead of meters?
Thanks a lot. The reason is archery clubs use yards in their ranges, don't know why, so my rangefinder, and sights are set for yards
Hey mate just curious when you rifle hunt do you prefer blued or stainless barrels?
Cheers
I prefer blued, stainless tends to be louder, and heavier, that's just my opinion of course
Always wicked to see the notification.
Appreciate the support! 🤙
@@jchunting One episode can we have a gear (Mainly bow ) rundown. What you shooting?
