Cool mate I booked myself in for a week after one of your videos here. Hoping to get my first deer with the bow. Have had plenty of goats but just nit managed a deer yet.

Great video mate. I took up bow hunting a year and a half ago. Have got a few goats so far and missed a good opportunity on a deer but I'm mostly hunting public and struggling to find deer. I would love to hunt a place like this. Is it paid block?

Just a couple of suggestions get a half dozen parrie decoys for you spread but have them separate from mallards as they don't really mix in the wild . And keep your decoys in abit closer no more then 25 meters out if you don't want to spend to much on Decoys look on trade me this time of the year . Are you shooting 3s in 36 gr

Just a word of advice, take the sling off your gun it will help you swing through the shot. Also lead the shot a bit more and keep swinging through the trigger pull. All the best with future future waterfowling. I just finished the Northland season with 126, time to get back into bowhunting

The challenges of bow hunting in that terrain is off the charts. More rugged than where i used to hunt in the New Mexico mountains it appears. 👍👍👀

I just recently found out that wild turkeys live in New Zealand. If you ever get a chance to hunt turkeys in any of the southern US states I’d encourage you to take it. A lot of people hunt them here and they are as wild as you will find.

Hey chap, how did the Maori Chief cook up? Maybe try a cluster of kinas in a slightly deeper spot for snapper next time you have go. Looked a bit shallow and expensive what you were doing there.

Great video! Good shot. I shot a black fallow buck just like yours way up in Steele Creek, in the Greenstone Valley, in May, 1974, during a six-day trip into there. Personally like the story type hunting videos and don't care if an animal goes down. Actually more realistic if you have trips where you dont succeed (If that makes any sense)
