Love your reviews man. I just bought an AR and you've helped me decide on a lot of gear and upgrades to make the rifle perform better and my range day easier. Keep it up.
Or you could get a MTM ammo can for 8$ on amazon that's hard Plastic and has a rubber seal. Oh and it's made in Dayton Ohio. This is super expensive for a "tactical" ammo box.
What about during matches? When you have to move from stage to stage? I wouldn’t want to carry a large plastic box in my pack when I could save some room with these pouches
Sootch, I'm a new firearm owner and been watching lots and lots of videos. thank you for the info you have provided me. I very much like G-code products and their Cust Service is outstanding.
Before I'd heard of these, I started using a bank bag (kind of bag that zips, some use to carry their cash deposits) and it is great. I think the bang box is cool, but that little bank bag is perfect, holds about 200-250 rounds of 9mm, goes right in the range bag. Ask a local branch, or search Amazon, they're like $5
Great Job Sootch. Review what you want. If someone does not like the vid don't watch it. I like them. Been watching you for years. I would have not known about alot gear if it wasn't for your vids. Like other viewers I built an AR to your vid. I was in Law Enforcement for years but my department did not use AR's (Ruger .223 Mini 14). So do what you want. Murica!
Im not sure if i would ever buy something like this, but i can see a number of uses for this. Pretty cool little way to keep things organized or jsut have a few hundred rounds you can grab in a hurry.
Good video.... But I laughed when you said they are "just out of Fayetteville." They are a little over 100 MILES away from Fayetteville in Jacksonville NC... LOL
This would be great for the bulk ammo when I shoot like 9mm or 5.56. When I have many different calibers I use one of the mobile screw/bolt/nut cases you would find at Home Depot or Lowes
sootch00...any experience with the NcStar Vism Eco mod2 or mod3 4x magnification scope? Appears to be a great new product at a very affordable price. Let us know.
I just ordered two bang boxes with two 40cal patches and the 2fer. After shipping it barely crawled past $100 that's $37 less than one monthly cell phone bill...... That's not expensive.
5,56 = stripper clips and a spoon in a surplus pouch. Loading single rounds into mags while at the range is the biggest waste of time. Gucci bag carrier silliness. Getting free stuff sent to you doesn't mean you shouldn't say, "They look good, but really don't solve any problems that a myriad of other solutions have been doing for years."
There located in Jacksonville, NC not Fayetteville, NC. Jacksonville aka Camp Lejeune...Home of the 2nd Marine Division. Fayetteville is up by Fort Bragg.
sootch00 I could't help to notice in the beginning of the video you were running that Leupold Optic and the A2 Front Sight on the carbine. I have a M4 carbine with a A2 fixed front sight and I was looking to invest in the Vortex Strike Eagle, but I am not sure if the front sight will be in the way of the optic. My question is, does the front sight get in the way as much?
My local dollar tree sells Tupperware brand clamp containers, which fill this purpose exactly, but...... wait for it ......... A DOLLAR! Man I'll tell you what, maybe it's because I'm getting old, but seems like guys will look for any reason now a days to blow their paycheck on silly things sheesh
great review brother .. I am going to contact my dudes that are in Bravo Company that are suppliers in the field I know for a fact they would love this product I know I do and it is American made
as cool as this may look why would anyone use this over pre-loading magazines or using extra strength Ziploc bags or maybe a smaller Ziploc bag inside of a larger ziplock bag for rigidity? you could probably put more in those and they are flexible and they cost less
That Beretta you had at the end looks like one of the 92S Italian police imports that have flooded the market. I've bought 4 already. You can't beat the price. I personally think they're better quality that the new ones. The slide is buttery smooth. I can deal with the bottom mag release. I just don't like the sights. The front post is virtually non existant
somewhat unrelated but I have the Diamondhead back up irons and I don't know what to look for when it comes to being able to have the rear sight mounted underneath my 1-6 power scope the qd mount i bought for my ar will not allow the clearance I need to mount my rear sight
The cost isn't an issue to me and as a matter of fact I ordered one. However, to get someone at g code to answer the phone or reply to your emails, don't count on it. I
why do i need it? regular pouch do the same job and even beter if you have remington or mauser and for easy mag charging you can take plastik box from your kichen it just look's beter. thats all
You had me until the price.. $75 just to carry a few rounds? ... I'm not trying to poo-poo a good idea, but that's a pretty stiff bill. $40 for the set I might pay, but nearly twice that when I can just use an old Tupperware? Eh, Thanks for the video anyway!! :)
I love g-code, I have a belt and holster with rti system, I used for duty, would love to get some of those ammo bang box, maybe you can get g-code give you some to do a giveaway! !!
I would buy it if it had a way to lock the containers or bags. Cali law states that in order to transport your ammo it needs to be locked and separated from your weapon. Damn it sucks here
I wash out plastic peanut butter jars. They are see thru so no need to label. Best thing is they are FREE. Mayonnaise jars work too. Best thing is they are FREE too. I even have a Costco size ibuprofen jar a use with a safety lid. Best thing is it was FREE. To each there own, but I'd go feed a homeless family living in a Wal-Mart parking lot, before I'd dump $75 on that. I'd be ashamed of myself. No knocks at all, just me. I know all your 5.56 is on strippers, so this is a plug. I get it.
great video as always... is there a way to contact you to ask questions I got a few questions I'd like your opinion on thanks for your time and keep up the good work on the videos
I don't see the point of this product. Now if they made a square box with a shoulder strap that had the option of carrying 7, 9 or 11 of the 30rd 556 mags I would be interested. I have seen magazine dispensers that contain an internal spring that hold 10 or 12 mags to dispense magazines out the bottom slot.
Intro music sounds like something from a dance video game... in the 90s. Good review, as per the usual, though. I wouldn't just dump my precision loads into the box, like that... maybe that's just me.
To me it's kind of a product for a problem that doesn't exist. For me, anyway, but everyone's different. But yeah, there's cheaper alternatives but they're not exactly "tactical" looking I guess.
Nice idea just not worth it for the cost. I get ammo cans from Harbor freight for about $ 8 and holds 500 + rounds of what I need. No offense but just not my style. I do love your reviews and stay strong... God bless brother.
my wife is all over these. You have my wife watching your channel now. She has never been into youtube until now. Thanks Sootch!
Love your reviews man. I just bought an AR and you've helped me decide on a lot of gear and upgrades to make the rifle perform better and my range day easier. Keep it up.

Kris Krash I didn't know about MTM. Thanks for sharing! I'm ammo hoarding in CA, this will help!
Yeah but these are cooler
What about during matches? When you have to move from stage to stage? I wouldn’t want to carry a large plastic box in my pack when I could save some room with these pouches
I bought these when they first came out and they are very handy at the range happy to see you do a video about them
The Bang Box does so many things that a 50 cal can and a sharpie can't do ????
i use tupperwear and it's fine, I guess i could add some camo duct tape to make it cool looking.
>>>That little pocket inside is for a moisture absorption pack.
Thanks Sootch. I actually just ordered 6 of the boxes after your last video. Greatly appreciated.
Sootch, I'm a new firearm owner and been watching lots and lots of videos. thank you for the info you have provided me. I very much like G-code products and their Cust Service is outstanding.

Man, 30.00 to hold a couple hundred 9mm bullets is to much for me
I have 3 and love them, think your the first review of these
Nice idea and they look good, but I've hauled ammo cans since I was 17. Too late to stop now. I fear change. LOL!
Im not sure if i would ever buy something like this, but i can see a number of uses for this. Pretty cool little way to keep things organized or jsut have a few hundred rounds you can grab in a hurry.
I liked the little text at the bottom when you said "3fer" lol
i really just don't see the point...
yea cause stupid products target stupid people
Just to make money, damn I should have thought of that.. waste of money!
I use a surplus dump pouch, paid $10. It works well.I like this bang box idea, but $25 seems a little pricey.
Good video.... But I laughed when you said they are "just out of Fayetteville." They are a little over 100 MILES away from Fayetteville in Jacksonville NC... LOL
Awesome! Thanks for letting us know about this one sootch00.
not bad thanks for the info !! been doing this for year's local army surplus has my thing's I carry my ammo in for range and hunting !!
Never seen these before until one of your recent videos. Now I want some!
I really enjoy and appreciate all your videos. Educational and very Entertaining!
I use a Tupperware container. Works perfect and it was already laying around the house!
Sootch, you look like Hannibal Smith with that cigar!
John Tucker I love it when a plan comes together!
Great idea.. little expensive, but looks really cool and I can back up the statement that G-Code is quality gear.
I am motivated to look into this item to potentially, hopefully, purchase. Thank you for sharing.
Looks like a very neat way to organize your ammo. Sootch thanks for making us aware of this option.
This would be great for the bulk ammo when I shoot like 9mm or 5.56. When I have many different calibers I use one of the mobile screw/bolt/nut cases you would find at Home Depot or Lowes
ordered 2 few days ago. 4-6 weeks for delivery. Ugghhh!!!!
sootch00...any experience with the NcStar Vism Eco mod2 or mod3 4x magnification scope? Appears to be a great new product at a very affordable price. Let us know.
Don, what you are calling trash are great for filling back up with reloaded ammo. I don't have ammo sponsors though :)
They have Cordura around it because it's a very tough fabric and it has unlimited shelf life. If anybody wonder
would it be a smart idea to keep these boxes in your range bag with your ammo in it
Hey Sootch, great ammo-system! Greatings from Austria Uli
thanks I want these. great work as always
I like your music in your videos. Thanks for another great Review!
I just ordered two bang boxes with two 40cal patches and the 2fer. After shipping it barely crawled past $100 that's $37 less than one monthly cell phone bill...... That's not expensive.
BTW these are quality handmade durable products here in the USA. If it's not for you then it's not for you, but it's not overpriced.
I tried to contact them but no response. Have they gone bankrupt? Cause it was a great product?
I like it. 250+ rounds capacity. Double zippers that could be zip-tied. I think these would be perfect to stash.
This is some neat stuff, Thanks Sootch! These might make great Christmas presents.
I've been looking at this for a while.
Colorado residents can pack a reefer i deid made my day lol thanks sootch i could end up with alot of ammo boxes pretty quick:)
stress test/drop test would have been helpful to see if these things will really hold up...
Cool shit sootch. I like these
5,56 = stripper clips and a spoon in a surplus pouch. Loading single rounds into mags while at the range is the biggest waste of time.
Gucci bag carrier silliness. Getting free stuff sent to you doesn't mean you shouldn't say, "They look good, but really don't solve any problems that a myriad of other solutions have been doing for years."
I like everything about this but I would love it to run quieter with the ammunition inside if I wasn't going to the range but out into the field.
Colorado reference was hilarious
Didn't understood it?
can the bang box be used to store ammo or is this just for range use only? another great video. thanks from Chicago.
Oh, how nice, an ammo purse. This will match well with my "desert tactical" AR. :D
Sootch thanks for the video
Bob Affect TO much for what cha get, Way to much...
Range/practice ammo sure, will still leave my game time Ammo in the box for protection of case and bullet

I'd like to have some, especially since they are right out of Fayetteville. But a lil too rich for my blood.
would these boxes fit 30 06 springfield and would they fit in a hunting backpack
If you reload your shell casings I keep my round organizers from the ammo box just in case.
Thanks Sootch!
Thanks for watching Mike!
great review brother .. I am going to contact my dudes that are in Bravo Company that are suppliers in the field I know for a fact they would love this product I know I do and it is American made

They look awesome. ..
Those cardboard boxes aren't "trash", they're recyclable.
Scootch loves himself some Scootch. Too funny.
Are you still using the bang box after two years?
That Beretta you had at the end looks like one of the 92S Italian police imports that have flooded the market. I've bought 4 already. You can't beat the price. do you recommend it for carrying my ammo this dear hunting season do the ammo make a lot of noise
somewhat unrelated but I have the Diamondhead back up irons and I don't know what to look for when it comes to being able to have the rear sight mounted underneath my 1-6 power scope the qd mount i bought for my ar will not allow the clearance I need to mount my rear sight
@ 3:05 that's a lot of 40mm ;)
Love all your videos but had to bust your chops for that one
I just use Tupperware containers from Walmart and keep them in my bag. Way cheaper. Been doing it you years and works well.
Can you review a tactical lunchbox and coffee thermos? I need to be tacitcool when I bring my meal to work
The cost isn't an issue to me and as a matter of fact I ordered one. However, to get someone at g code to answer the phone or reply to your emails, don't count on it. I
I like the review and these ammo carriers look really cool, but I can't justify spending $25/ammo carrier...
and for large amounts of rifle ammo. i use the plastic coffee containers.
why do i need it?
regular pouch do the same job and even beter if you have remington or mauser
and for easy mag charging you can take plastik box from your kichen
it just look's beter. thats all
You had me until the price.. $75 just to carry a few rounds? ... I'm not trying to poo-poo a good idea, but that's a pretty stiff bill. $40 for the set I might pay, but nearly twice that when I can just use an old Tupperware? Eh, Thanks for the video anyway!! :)
They're 20 bucks...
I love g-code, I have a belt and holster with rti system, I used for duty, would love to get some of those ammo bang box, maybe you can get g-code give you some to do a giveaway! !!
great review, great music
sooth00, What are the size dimension of them brother?
They should make the lid the same material as the base.
The perfect solution! To a nonexistent problem. I don't get it? Sorry.
interesting product. but at $25 each. i will just stay with ammo boxes.
Is it MOLL-E Compatible?
great video as always... is there a way to contact you to ask questions I got a few questions I'd like your opinion on thanks for your time and keep up the good work on the videos
i love mine. took like 2 months to get it though
Just realized that was the Helwan Brigadier at the end of the video

Or get a cheap Walmart ziplock container for $5.
Exactly. I use ziplock bags myself...
To me it's kind of a product for a problem that doesn't exist. For me, anyway, but everyone's different. But yeah, there's cheaper alternatives but they're not exactly "tactical" looking I guess.
Nice review. Very cool product. Price point too high for me, however.
These look interesting.
Thanks for the video
Why so much for the containers? DANG!
People keep complaining about the price but its a one time purchase. Pay once cry once.
How many will you be purchasing?
I bought 6 almost a year ago. Although to be candid my job requires me to carry a gun so having spare ammo in the car makes sense.
40mm's holy shit
Nice idea just not worth it for the cost. I get ammo cans from Harbor freight for about $ 8 and holds 500 + rounds of what I need. No offense but just not my style. I do love your reviews and stay strong... God bless brother.
I like the idea but damn those are expensive, all I can think about is how many ammo cans I can get for that price.
Nice product. 👍🏻
