Great filming !
Furka Road is one of the most military secured roads, past and present. Along Furka Road you pass many camouflaged gun emplacements.
If you turn left or walk up the road at minutes 15.44, you will come to the Gallenhütten Automated Artillery Station. From there you have the best view over the Rohne Glacier.
On many buildings along the Furka route, if you look closely, you will see painted windows and shutters, these houses are not what they look like.
It is worth to stop at minute 33.44 at the left hand side. This is the James Bond , Sean Connery Memorial, with pictures out of the movie and the org. soundtrack.

I had planned a trip to Schweiz next summer but most of the hotels en route are hiding their room prices and menus. The graffiti at the wall before Belvédère Hotel is disgusting. I didn't know that the Swiss ghettos and lowlife had reached the Alps. Seems just as as shady and scary as the UK. Considering that the average prices in Schweiz are 180% of EU prices I suddenly find southern France more appealing. I will reconsider my plans for next summer. Thank you for sharing and opening my eyes.
