Reasons to do this for an investor who is beginning out are as follows:
1) He can't track all the 4500 - 5000 stocks
2) Priority should be on not losing money and then making money
The 5 Metrics used are as follows:
1) Sales growth above 10% for 10 years
2) Average ROE Greater than 15% for 10 Years
3) Cumulative Free Cashflow for 5 Years over 1000Cr
4) Debt to Equity less than 10%
5) Market Cap more than 5000Cr

Hello pavan .. if you are a beginner... I would suggest you to not to go with commodity driven stock .. since you would have to predict the cycle .. only then would you be able to make good returns .. I personally too refrain from investing in commodity driven stocks .. since there are great companies outside of it .. also I'm currently not tracking the sugar industry !😊

Gdp predominantly consists of all the goods and services produced and sold. Hence, sales is a good proxy, although it doesn't consider inventory in BS. Hope this helps ! :)

This is the first level screens for beginners and I believe it's a good starting point .. doesn't mean saare stocks iske khareedne hote hai .. and also not everytime the stocks will really .. entry levels and how much time you stay invested when the thesis holds matters .. agar company ka fundamental orelse thesis change hua toh exit karna better hai .. anyway .. you can watch my other videos and then understand how we analyse the stocks .. thanks !
