      Thank you it’s also my personal truck so I did not want to go to big use it to pull my camper around so I wanted the softer suspension on a 3500. I believe it’s the only one in the country is this set up.

      @@norman6771 You will have to get around to making a video about your costings for your business.
      Would be an interesting video to make and watch.

    I’m getting a similar setup, it works great for topsoil but if it was washed rock of gravel, do you think you’d have issues with materials all bunching up at the back?

      Never lifted stone from the ground only ever loaded it while I was on the truck and I just dumped it out. I don’t see it being a huge problem.

    Wonder if you could have a gooseneck hitch on a bed of this style.

      I don’t see why you could not mount a quick disconnect system to the frame of the hoist or the frame of the truck but I’m not sure if you could have one mounted in the aluminum bed or any type of flatbed you would have to secure the aluminum bed better to the truck than just the hook it does have two hydraulic locking mechanisms in the rear not sure if that is strong enough with the right ingenuity I’m sure you could figure something out.

      Yes it is possible. The one helped install a subframe in the flatbed for the gooseneck, it was pinned to the frame of the truck and the pins were held in place by bolts. I don’t remember who made it but I do remember it was very expensive.

    Where did you get the bed built at? I’m in the market for the same set up?

      The aluminum bed used to be mounted directly to the truck the people who made are Martin’s welding in Pennsylvania. But I put the steel subframe underneath and bolted it together to make it a roll off bed. I got the subframe from TP trailers in Pennsylvania.

    How much does their kit cost for your 1 ton?

      I think it was around 13,000+ whatever dumpsters or bad you were putting on the back that was just for the set up I did all the installation.

    Who’s your flat bed made by? And is your truck the 64” or 84?

    • @norman6771
      @norman6771  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s 64 inch the flatbed is made by Martin’s welding in the middle of PA. The bed is for a standard flatbed so I had to modify it to work with the Hooklift I bought a sub frame and bolted to the frame of the aluminum body and add it wheels to the back.
