I’m getting a similar setup, it works great for topsoil but if it was washed rock of gravel, do you think you’d have issues with materials all bunching up at the back?

Where did you get the bed built at? I’m in the market for the same set up?

Had a difficult time putting a tube into a snowblower tire, worst part was reseating the bead. Used your tip with 2 needle nose vice grips, done in 2 minutes! One of those experiences you wouldn't buy for a penny or sell for a million dollars....

Thanks. I removed the old 15" tractor tire, half way mounted the new tire...and was stuck. I could not get the outside bead on. Your trick PLUS another trick, kneeling on the tire, got it mounted with only two pair of vice grips and a large screwdriver.

Murphy Wood Cleaner Oil Soap is the perfect tire lube. It won't bother rubber like Vaseline, grease or other petroleum products. Glad I had 4 vice locks and several screwdrivers as my tires were very stiff.

How are you holding the wheel on the vise?

I own multiple powerstroke fords. I love them. However, do yourself a favor and get rid of that 6.4 while it's still running. When it quits, & it will, it's not good. The motors are a bad design.

I’ll try this, I have a single set of vice grips but no bench vice. I’ll make certain to lube the bead up.

Worked great! Changed both tires on my Exmark walk-behind mower without removing the wheels from the machine. Nice. Instead of soap I used Vaseline when putting on the new tires. That worked well.

norman, excellent job. Was there anything mechanical you used to hold the rim in place while you put the tire on? I bought the haror freight mini tire changer and it won't hold thr im still. Trying to figure out how to hold the rim still? thanks for the video. Jim

I've did this a time or two I inch at a time on tire bead with screw driver's worked best for me to big of a bite on lifting the rubber bead is harder
