We didn’t bring this guy in to replace anyone he’s an upgrade over jad. He might end up playing safety. I was disappointed that we didn’t get an edge but after sitting on it there wasn’t a guy available that was available that would have made a difference. Panthers and giants were either asking to much for AO and clowney or weren’t trading, cowboys still think they can win hence the trade they made, browns won’t trade in division, and Crosby was off the table, titans said they are closed for business as well. Campbell is likely to be cut so there’s no reason to give up draft capital and the rest of the teams that have guys are competitive. Browning and smith are depth pieces and frankly not that good and they were the only edge guys that got moved so what could edc have done? I think they made the moves that they could have given the situation and you can’t be mad about that. Ravens fans have to be reasonable and understand that trades are a two way street, you need a partner willing to deal and clearly no was willing to do business. I don’t like that we still have 11 picks so hopefully edc will use that to trade for a proven guy this offseason or use it to move up for a guy in the draft, we can still win it all with the guys we have just the margin for error is a little more thin than what would be ideal.
He’ll replace Brandon Stephen’s, also everyone making film or looking at what’s he’s done in only 4 weeks on an already struggling rams with 0 pass rush, is lame af. Brandon Stephan’s has a playing the ball problem, he was a former RB and Safety in college, the ball skills were seeing him lack every week isn’t something he’s going to develop that has to come naturally. Say what you want but Tre white is and elite talent and still has a lot of juice left granted he was in the right situation. Stop looking at the numbers and see how he strived in a defense similar to ours in Buffalo.
@@Wickedattraction I think he can revive his career here but he’s clearly not healthy right now that why I think he may play safety. Healthy he’s better than Brandon but not right now with his leg issue, the rams tape shows he’s not 100.he can run with receivers at the moment Stephan’s can at least he can better than white at this current moment.
14:50 I was guessing the same thing. It seems reasonable to think that having Pees back for another SB run translates to heavy doses of zone, and acquiring White fits. The guy has fairly good hands too, judging from career highlights.
What’s curious to me, is that all the named WRs are making really great catches consistently. But you never hear anyone actually locking down these named receivers consistently throughout the game or games in general. I get CB is the hardest position in football, you gotta have speed, agility, awareness, and millisecond micro adjustments. The nfl has definitely turned into an offensive game. Rather than defensive.
This actually might be a sneaky good pick up. Tavius Robinson has shown he can rush from the inside as well as outside opens opportunities for different packages up front. And White can still cover if he stays healthy. Also Coach, Zach likes to run a lot of Dime packages. Maybe they side into the slot since it seems Arthur Maulet may still be recovering from his hamstring injury. He’s slow these past 2 games.
the second MHJ catch, the back shoulder on the top sideline this was a showing of improvement over BStephens in the aspect of it appeared White turned his head early but just missed the ball.
at the very least, he's better than JAD and gives us good vet leadership. should be a nice #4 CB. plus coming back from the achilles, the rams reporter said the team felt bad about rushing him back & playing him so heavily early on. two months later, he should be healthier and have fresh legs for the stretch run.
Bringing an injury prone sus cornerback to the worst pass defense secondary in the NFL as the last free agency deadline is so on brand. This is going to bring momentum for a playoff push💀💀
He brings experience and great football IQ

Well reasoned analysis 👏
Why are we getting upgrades for guys who aren’t on the field is beyond me 🤦🏾♂️upgrade what’s on the field that automatically improves depth

Over Stephen’s

I’m of the mindset that Zone should be the situational switch up not the default play call.

Speed and ability to read plays, better than most of our players.
Hire Ed Reed as a consultant. It definitely couldn't hurt.

Hope he can stay healthy-has the potential to get better.
Can he play safety

All good points. Seems like a Dawg. Covering Aiyuk.
Especially since he was resting in the last few weeks.

Xavien Howard still available
Shyt he’s an upgrade over everyone but Marlo!! Cause that project on the right side is Trash and I’m talking about B Stephens
Dang… last year he was the truth.. I think it’s a scheme thing..every player isn’t made to do everything
Let’s talk about Marcus Williams instead
Last year was the pass rush from clowney, bekes, KVN, Hamilton, oweh at times he’s another one that needs to be traded
