@@Angela-lb9zi Me too! Its awful. I suggest looking into the gel method for dip powder. I've been doing that and I haven't gotten dip flu from it. For me it was the dip liquids making me sick. The gel method is much more controllable as well since it dries when you want it to allowing for time to clean up the cuticles.
It started with sneezing and it was so frequent and lasted for days. My sinuses became severely inflamed and my nose ran constantly. I honestly thought I had Covid.
I'd be really interested to see a comparison between the more affordable polygels like Makartt and the "premium" ones like Gelish. Especially comparing application and wear.
I just ordered some makart still IDK can't speak to that as of yet but I will say that Gershoin, although perhaps not to clear if the longest lasting and strongest polygel I have ever used. I have gone 2 months without an infill, no breaks or lifting with pretty long nails! I made the mistake of recommending Gershoin in a forum and now they are ALWAYS sold out which is why I used Makart this time.
Honestly, I truly think you should not have made such a breathtaking set cuz I could not tell which polygel was cloudy or clear, I was just stunned by this most fantastic set!!!
No polygel I’ve ever found is more clear than makartt. Definitely the best for clear. I found one that was decently clear but way too soft and runny. Makartt’s is the perfect consistency.

Recently, while I was doing my nails, I was watching a Korean drama called “Hellbound”. I had to stop doing my nails so I could watch the rest of the re show, because it was 🔥. After the show ended, I finally finished attaching my Beatles nail tips and completed my nails. I learn how to do that from one of your prior videos. They turned out really pretty. I like Sailor Moon, but I love Marvel & DC comics. We didn’t have a TV when we lived in Germany so we read comic books. I am a girl who has always been a comic book nerd, and now I love to do my nails. Thank you.
Best way I’ve found to break up those shells is with two sets of tweezers, or with an old set of nippers. You can get super tiny pieces that way. Beautiful nails!! I’m a fan of the Markart…so clear, and great quality, particularly for the price.

I always feel like makartt is the clearest!! Gershion has a good texture but it’s clear isn’t that clear. They’re better for just building nails but not if you want the clear as glass nails

I own Makartt and I like that one a lot. I had no reason to try any other clear, but great to know some alternatives if I have to buy something different.
makartt looked really clear. polygel is my go to for clear nails, even though i do love acrylic. what ever you do don't get the rosalind clear polygel, doesn't matter what type/strength lamp i've tried neither of the 2 tubes i have cures even with the thinnest coats. it seems to be an ongoing issue from their comments. their suggestion is use a stronger lamp, but the opal and red of theirs has no issues.
Just curious because I don’t know a ton on polygels but have been working with them some. Acrylic was always my jam and still is honestly. I just love the looks you can get with polygels. I'm hoping watching you will help me figure out out. Any other tips, tricks from those of you behind the screen are welcome and I thank you all in advance. How do you remove polygel or the soft gel tips? How do you keep from damaging your real nails by roughing them up every time you redo your nails? My nails are thin and break if I look at them wrong. Thank you again nail community! And drill suggestions? I can't afford kiara sky although they are beautiful, but I need budget friendly drill on a budget.
