Getting ready for a recital, riding a bike in the rain (because it feels illegal somehow) and just losing breath while running through halls between lessons.🕯

There is such a beautiful artistic vibe to this. I first thought this can’t be possibly London only to realise this must be Tbilisi in Georgia. Great to see it still has retained some of its character I was there many years ago and really loved how cultured and warm people were.

I am a beginner pianist, my main subject actually is drawing because I attend an academy of fine arts but I recently started to be passionate about singing and piano. I admire your videos so much and your skills are out of this world !! I’ll never reach your level my job is gonna be another one in the art field because I am studying to become an illustrator, but fellow artist here too ;) art is beautiful in all forms

As an organist I felt your pain when your talked about cold hand. My hands are always very cold and when going to church to play it is even worst, sometimes can barely move my fingers. I Have to wear gloves

Thank you so so much❤️ it depends on the period, but it is a minimum to practice 4 hours if I'm determined and seek to have good results. But everyone has ups and downs which is completely natural.
best thing to do against cold hands is a quick body work out, 5 mins more than enough

Do you actually enjoy public performances? I think for many, the immense pressure of performing in front of an elite audience takes all the fun out of it and turns it into a high stress job instead of a relaxing activity for personal enjoyment. But I guess once you get acclimated to it, performing for a large audience in high stakes situations can become a transcendent experience.
