How do you get the shoulder slant
Thanks so much for sharing this. But looking at it, our front waist is usually longer than the back and this is where the bust dart comes from......

I had a huge problem while drawing the pattern : the bust point is higher than the depth of the armhole . I had to stop everything. What should i do ? My bust is 108 cm plus tolerance , the back body length is 41cm and my bust point location is 27 cm . After calculating the armhole depth is 28, 75cm , lower than the bust point . What am i supposed to do ?

Hi , when I make fitted Bustier top I usually add ¼ to ½ " ease esp. on the bust part ( this ease is for the bra cup )
How did you measured the shoulder dart as 5cm and 2cm, I wanna know the calculation formula like we calculate the under bust dart with bust circumference.
And is the shoulder dart measurements you took neutral to all the sizes.
Please help me understand.

Hi Mikel, bust clamp? Or you mean the 5cm opening of the shoulder dart ? If so, the 5cm is a constant value.

Hello mi! Again its me A.M Dalagan :) this is the best tutorial na nawatch ko complete details and step by step talaga. Dito lang ako nahirapan sa front waist dart. After maging 44 na Front body figure. Yung pag gamit ng tracing wheel. And ilang cm ang nadagdag sa center front. Medyo di ko nakuha hehe.

What does half the tolerance mean?
Hi Natalya, in pattern making, the term tolerance is the added measurement for Ease ( for movement ).... we dont want some parts of the pattern to be too exact that theres no room for movement..

Hi Pia , sa tutorial na ito , walang tolerance na naka-add. YES you can add tolerance esp sa Woven Fabric and personal preference mo na rin yun pwedeng less or more than 1" depende parin sa gusto mong tolreance. Kaya napaka importante ang toile / prototype or test fit kapag couture level ang mga ginagawa mo.... lalo na kapag ang client is very particular sa fit ng dress.
