Thanks for the upload. The ability to Scale to flat sounds extremely useful. I hope a future update to the default SketchUp Tools will allow us to do this with the normal scale tool.
Thanks Justin! Q: Can *Box tapering tool* (5:13) be used on an object w multiple groups or components? i.e. Say you have a 7-floor building (each floor being a separate group or component). Now you want to taper the entire 7-floor building inwards (or outwards)... can *Box taper tool* do that (if all 7 floors are groups (or components) stacked on top of each other)? Also . . . the menu (1:35) showed a “Box tapering tool to target” - - do you know what “to target” means ? Thanks for any feedback - Cheers! 🙂👍🏼
I am wonder though, if there is a way to stretch an object to a specific dimension, instead of a ratio? This is one the things that gives me the biggest headache in scaling.
Perfect! This video gives a great representation of FredeScale's capabilities. Thank you Justin! You don't discuss the 'To Target'. Does that have a reason?
Hi, I used Fredoscale for the first time. I scaled-down a box width, and the thickness of the panel changed from 18mm to 16mm. Is there a solution to correct it?
@TheSketchUpEssentials hi there, thanks for the new video as always super helpful! Sadly the registration for the link to the Ultimate Guide on the linked website aint working, it always says "There has been an critical error". Hopefully you could get that fixed for the distribution of the guide.
Hi , I have 1 query . Like in interior modeling I'm trying to use glossy laminate , super glossy laminate texture but after rendering in v ray it still looks in matte finish only . If I increase reflection value to maximum also . I don't know where it's going wrong . Please help me with this
Check if you have got refraction on in there, switch it off ,or maybe in your diffuse texture slot you have got a dark shade color in there, make it white ,if nothing works add a reflective coat layer in material properties panel, this may help😊
Box Stretch tool does NOT work on window Height. You can use it to narrow a window, but not making changes to its height. If you have upper and lower window sashes the tool can't deal with them.
This does NOT work with windows. I've tried all day and either the glass goes crazy or it ignores the mullions, or it just destroys the window. The Box Scaling seems to work making a window wider or narrower but it doesn't work for height, again things go off the rails. It almost works. Thanks for the video anyway. :)
Hi everyone! Let me know if you have questions about FredoScale in the comments below! :)
how to make it back to a normal shape? unchanged version?
i already install but why its not show on sketchup? help me please
Wow! I bought the Fredoscale package but had no idea how to use all of these tools. You just saved me so much time and headache. Thank you!
You are best video tutorial maker . Easy to learn .

Just what I needed today!! Thanks!👍
Very useful and have of course bought the bundle.
TOTALLY worth it in my opinion

Thanks for that Justin. Is anyone else getting "critical error" when following the ultimate guide link?
Yes iam too.
