Flying to the outback of NSW and Vic - Day 3

After staying the night at a friend's goat station in the middle of nowhere (Near Wilcannia), Brett and I ventured south through some unfavorable weather towards Mildura.
As we took off there were showers of rain and low cloud restricting us to fly at not much more than 1500ft pretty much the whole way. It was good practice to divert around the weather as we are only VFR pilots in a VFR rated aircraft.
When we got to Mildura YMIA we picked up a friend of mine and we flew back towards to the Murray Darling heading firstly to Mungo Lodge YLMU, then Pooncaire YPCE, then we followed the river west all the way over the border towards my home town of Renmark.
It was an awesome day of flying and even cooler to have one of my oldest friends come along for the ride.
We landed back in Mildura for the night and got a well-deserved parmy for dinner.
