I looked on the map and think we must of drove close to there as we did that loop to force to take a look but I suspect we missed the spot by a few miles Maybe next time - thanks for sharing
Yes unfortunately you will see in one of the episodes it was closed for repairs and it was on Janes must visit list … next time maybe Thanks for watching
Good choices Stu & Jane, have been going to Allihies village for years, what makes the campsite special is Anthony the owner collecting money's on his quad bike with his dog in tow. So much for reception facilities, love it. The Healy Pass is amazing, stopping halfway to Kenmare at a place called Bonane at the craft shop for homemade scones. A beautiful part of the Beara Peninsula. You guys have got it spot on. Con & Mary, Clonakilty 🤗
HI guys great video and as you asked I would definetly recommend Glengarriff with its ferry to garnish island and a lovely nature reserve also the cable car to Dursey island has just been reinstated after a much needed refurb .Keep up the good work ye are doing a great job promoting our lovely island THANKS!
Personally i would have put Helens bar at number 1 I would have put Glengariff in the top 3 if you didnt go then visit garnish island. Healy pass at number 4
Yes I have heard about garnish island sounds like we missed a nice trip there - we did go for a great circular walk just outside Glengariff though Thank you for watching and commenting
I must admit having visited there we felt we could move there and loved the clonakility area so if that was all on my doorstep it would last a lifetime Thank you for watching and commenting
My wife and I are just back from SW Ireland. Beara peninsula was my favorite place. Kilcatherine Church was a must-see, in my opinion.

'Limerick, she's a lady' as the song goes. Glad ye enjoyed and got some good weather.
Yes weather made the walk to be honest - the Shannon was roaring - castle definitely worth a visit
@@getawaygeese my son worked up there for a while,he lived the walk, and the castle too he said. I have a beautiful friend who is from Limerick.
Ah bless great locations for sure. Well put together footage. Well done you two.

Ferry! When we went there in 1987 they rowed us across in a boat. How times change.
I think this one is my favourite, the bar, the pass and the beach everything you could want all close to each other.
Yep Helen’s bar was one of those occasions we felt in the middle of local activity especially when a car club turned up
Thanks for watching
Healy Pass, Garinish Island, and Gleninchaquin Falls
So many places will note them down for the next time
👍👍👍🌈🍾

Dursey Island cable car operating again since last week
Jane really wanted to do that so I suspect that would of been a contender - thanks for watching
