- Episode 7 of the motorcycle Tour of Ireland on a Harley-Davidson Road King. In this episode I am riding around the Beara Peninsula in search of a hidden trail in Allihies. I stop in places off the beaten track, on the Zetland pier and Allihies mines.

Beara is my favourite place in all of Ireland - as soon as I arrived there I wanted to stay forever. I rode the copper trail on my Super Tenere in May 2022 - there's a vid on my channel - and the views on a sunny day are amazing. Well done for riding it!
Beara is really beautiful, almost every corner hides yet another amazing landscape. Yes the copper trail is really for an adventure bike and on a Tenere would be like a ride in the park. I also wish I was on my GSA, not on a heavy touring Harley while riding in the cloud. I’ll go back just for scenic views that you mentioned! Enjoy your winter rides!
