Almost nobody prefers the re-recording of "Stormblast." That entire "album" was just a 50 minute long commercial to get people born in the 90's into their 90's albums.

Tjodalv had some of the tastiest fills and cymbal work in 90's black metal. In my opinion Tjodalv, Frost (Satyricon, Gorgoroth, 1349), Hellhammer (Mayhem, Immortal, Arcturus), Czral aka Aggressor (Satyricon, Ulver, Aura Noir), Grim (Immortal, Gorgoroth) Trym Torson (Emperor, Enslaved) and Proscriptor McGovern (Absu) were always the best drummers in black metal in terms of both style and skill. Gotta have both to really stand out and be impactful. Drums are the heartbeat of the band. If your drumming don't give me the chills you're mediocre at best.
