When he met his wife she was beautiful. Within a few years she'd put on a huge amount of weight and she looks nothing like she once did, nor does she look particularly attractive.
It's weird to see a good looking celebrity with a woman like that. And yet Brosnan has been with her for years, claims he loves her as much as he's ever done.
I think he's just one of those special people.

"Graves" has had his identity for 14 months? and in that time he's become a well-known millionaire and about to be knighted, and has a diamond mine...and is an Olympic fencer! There should be red flags all over MI5/6 or even Burger King.

15:46 That's actually a common misconception. The firing pin was actually taken out, not the cartridge. Since the pin weighs very little, it makes sense that Bond doesn't notice the difference.
Or could even be she snapped the tip of the pin because on a Walter P99 the back of the firing pin protrudes out of the rear of the slide with a red 'pin' indicating the weapon is hot and ready to fire.

I'm going to be thoroughly surprised if this movie doesn't end with a sin count of over 9000. Despite having not seen this movie in years, it's not hard to think of scenes that would get a lot of sins.
CinemaSins have done some really bad Bond films lately. Sinning them could take longer than the films.
When did CinemaSins stop doing endcard outtakes that earns 20 sins right there!
The bridge exchange? The car chase? The sword fight? The VR training scene? Why would these get sins? Seems like you need to watch it again

I loved it because of all the nods to the previous films. And I loved Brosnan as Bond - ever since I was a kid and saw him on Remington Steele I thought he was just born to play Bond.

Came here to say exactly this. The whole scene is cringe but you specifically see Graves take the gun from the General and clearly hear the gunshot. Swing and a miss from CinemaSins here

The open bit wasn't filmed in korea, it was ACTAULLY filmed in a surfing village in cornwall. Yes thats right cornwall, the most south western part of the UK.

13:36 Interestingly, Die Another Day is the only film that Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, who have written the past 7 Bond scripts weren't joined by someone else to write parts/do a rewrite, which might explain some of the cheese throughout the entire movie

The only thing that was more chilling than the fact that hovercrafts have been known to instantly explode when colliding with a tree was Miss Frost's cold demeanor.

Fun fact: the flight attendant that served Bond was Deborah Moore, daughter of Roger Moore.
Ha! Did not know this! I just left a comment about the reaction of the blonde passenger who gets Ms. Moore's ass shoved in her face during that scene! (10:35 in case you want to check it out yourself. . .).
15:42 in the novel, it’s explained Frost removed the firing pin, something that you could not tell was missing without a thorough tear down of the gun.
You have to take off at least one sin for the fantastic scene where Bond, with six months growth of scraggly hair and beard, in his pajamas, soaking wet, comes in to the luxurious hotel lobby, saunters up the the desk, and asks for his, "Usual suite." And then the interplay between him and the desk clerk and the hotel manager. That was just terrific. That was a glimpse of the Sean Connery style utterly class act Bond that Brosnan could have been if they had just given him the scripts. The later interaction with Cuban sleeper agent was pretty darned good too.
Right on the money! Those two scenes were my favourites of the movie. I think two or three sins off would be good!
The dialogue in the scene where Bond and Jinx meet for the first time deserves at least 25 sins.
Also does NSA even have field agents? Should that be a sin?

They supposed to be Covert Ops like the CIA BUT also be covert tech wise an the groups supposed to be half full of some the most techiest tech specialists and electronicssays, hackers, related etc that ever did that kinda stuff too. Not that most even are though. Reality often is very different then what we often see the movie counterparts do

15:35 Pretty much every modern semi automatic handgun has some form of a loaded-chamber indicator too. The P99 even has a nifty striker-indicator right on the back. Basically, it always infuriates me when the super spy/soldier/agent falls for the "it's not loaded" ploy, because pretty much any self-respecting firearms user would immediately check the condition of their firearm before going out to do spy/soldier/agent stuff.

Yeah Jermey is actually wrong about not being able to tell loaded guns from empty ones after promptly picking any of them up. Honestly don't know how ANYONE can fall for that. It's VERY clear a weight difference between even a partially loaded gun and fully loaded ones. Unless your one the very few people that's NEVER in their life picked one up. Empty, loaded or any round count number in between
A chamber check at the very least to ensure one up the spout. But I completely agree with Jeremy, even a casual gun owner would feel the difference between loaded and unloaded. A spy no knowing is unforgivable.
To quote Matt Helm, "The response to being told your gun isn't loaded is to pull the trigger. After all, you wouldn't be pointing it at someone you weren't ready to kill, right?"
You missed something that's a goof on IMDb and I was disappointed I didn't spot: Bond's car achieves "invisibility" by cameras all around the car projecting onto screens on the other side. Meaning Bond hiding behind it would be projected super visible on the other side of it!
Oh, and BRING BACK THE OUTTAKES!

True. This movie is a bit silly and dumb. At least the theme song by Madonna is pretty good. Not the best, but fun for what it is. Of course, the best Bond theme song has to be either "Live And Let Die" or "Goldfinger." There are a number of other really good ones as well that are right near the top as well.

This is, in my opinion, the worst Bond movie i’ve ever seen.
The story is ridiculous, over-reliant on special effects (reminds of The Mummy Returns effects), Madonna’s subpar song and robotic cameo (she won 2 Razzies for this and Swept Away) and almost killing the franchise forever (thank god for Casino Royale in 2006)
Halle Berry and Rosamund Pike are the best actresses in here (the saving graces)

Sure, the 2 hour and 43 minutes runtime is a little excessive, but it’s full of great action, sleek direction, wonderful performances by everyone, Billie Eilish singing the title song and serving a fitting conclusion to Daniel Craig’s journey as James Bond

One day Pierce joined her on the set and she introduced him to Albert Broccoli and Broccoli said " I think we just found our next James Bond. Well we all know Brosnan was to be the next Bond until NBC screwed him over and could not take the role until 1995.

Frost didn’t remove the bullets from Bond’s gun, she removed the firing pin. It weighs practically nothing.
The stewardess serving drinks on the plane was played by Roger Moore’s daughter.
Despite this movie being cheesy and stupid, i love it. The main title theme is a bop and the over the top chase scene between the jaaaaaaaag & the aston martin was epic.
I love all of the Brosnan ones. They feel like Bond to me. Daniel Craig's ones never quite did.. Casino Royale was good at least but the rest seemed very forgettable

TWINE played up the contrast between Desmond Lewellyn as the Quartermaster and John Cleese as his awkward successor. I'd hoped future films would keep the character on his new direction. This one had only a token acknowledgement he's not the same sophisticated Q we've always known.

@m jefferson: _The World Is Not Enough_ would've been one of the best Bond films if every single frame of Denise Richards never made it off the cutting room floor. Think about it: **SPOILER ALERT** The Bond Girl is actually the villain, she tortures Bond psychologically, emotionally, and physically, she's an actually well-written, complex female character who isn't played by Judi Dench (but she's in here too, giving her best performance until _Skyfall_ ), and I would argue that were it not for the intervention of Zukovsky, she was the one who came the closest to actually killing Bond.
But of course, you can't have a Bond Girl be a villain, that'd be too mature of a story for the audience. Throw in someone who's best known for getting naked on screen, and give her a ridiculous name and an implausibly ludicrous job. Who cares if she couldn't act her way out of a paper bag, or that she delivers all her lines with the same flat, unthinking cadence as a third grader reading their book report out loud to the entire class.

I love the CInemasins videos and as a gun owner I can tell you its quite easy to know if my 9mm CZ75 is loaded (16 rounds) or empty, now you could of course put 2-3 rounds in and it would not be possible to tell, but the difference in weight between 16 rounds and zero is just too big, I am not an expert, but its quite easy to tell. When empty - "its not that heavy" - when loaded "wow this gun is much heavier then it looks"....enough about guns, now lets talk about ice.....

Tomorrow Never Dies & The World Is Not Enough were 🤦🏻♂️ more than 2002, Die Another Day. At least Die Another Day had Halle Berry in top form, 👙 in a orange bikini. 😘

Worse than Diamonds are Forever? Both are pretty bad. I like Diamonds a little better because it has some scenes in my home town (Las Vegas), which was a lot different in those days. But that movie is very slow to get through. Though I did like the car chase scene (even with the goof).
100 sins off for halle berry being fine as hell
This is the weakest Bond film ever. But even with the overused and dated CG, constant Matrix style slow mo, and a weak script, you still get a good theme from Madonna, Brosnan still giving a good performance, and some inventive action scenes.

You don't have to be a British citizen to be knighted, you have to be a citizen of the British commonwealth which includes Australia, Canada and parts of Africa, etc.
But there are different knighthood for residents vs non residents no?
@Wesley James ah that's interesting. I knew that honours were available to non-residents and non-citizens, but I knew it wasn't the same as if they were a citizen. I wasn't sure if the sticking point was citizenship, tax status or residency.

Well the commonwealth spans a lot of countries because of the historical atrocities Britain committed when they went "built" the empire
They should have sinned the fact that it took James Bond's sleuthing to find out that Gustav Graves wasn't a real person. If in real life some billionaire suddenly appeared out of nowhere and was knighted by the Queen then the news media would research his entire life to find out every bit of information about him that they could find and they would almost immediately figure out there was nothing there and therefore Graves wasn't really who he claimed to be.
Brosnan really deserved one more movie to make up for this one. Sorry that his movies just couldn't keep up with the awesomeness of GoldenEye.
Golden Eye is okay I’ve watched it many times but there are some problems in that third act. I really liked Worlds Not Enough maybe it was because it was my first Bond movie I’ve seen. I really like Casino Royal too

The surfing scene FX don't look good? I don't follow. Doesn't even look like CGI to me, so if it is CGI, it's phenomenally good.
