@@03mbc thinking about it know, I might be half surprised I like how considering this is Garfield related, the comment section mentions mostly Mondays.
Bill Murray made Garfield sound mad and forlorn like he is in the comics, but Chris Pratt is so high energy it just doesn't work. The original was also my favourite movie to watch at my grandmothers house and brings back some much-needed nostalgia
So... We take Garfield, a well known, established character with two theatrical movies and at least some TV specials and slap him into a generic CGI critter heist movie and hope anyone older than the age of six will conveniently forget the nearly fifty years of presence he's had. Cinemasins is doing good work here.
@3:00 I think I know why Garfield hates Mondays, like me... Aside from it being the normal start to the work week, a lot of restaurants are closed on Mondays.. 😅
garfield has been a fluid character for decades; it's kind of his whole deal. Garfield and Friends had him alternating between lazing grumpily and solving mysteries or fighting clowns or making choreographed music videos. in Pet Force, Garzooka is him as a muscular anthropomorphic galactic superhero! I agree, to be clear, because this Garfield's a little more boring and charmless than a lot of the others. but there's really no integrity to the character in the first place aside from his color and name pattern.
Not enough sins. I demand a sin counter for how many damn brain cells I lost watching the whole movie. It was absolute torture. For little little kids, it's a distraction so their parents can have some alone time in the bedroom. That's it. This movie is a massive waste of time otherwise. The script is awful. Sony really didn't care about quality. They just wanted to pump out another nostalgic property without much thought. It's sad as hell when I can't decide which Garfield movie is worse because they're all terrible. I guess I can give this movie credit for making the characters stylistically accurate.
I have a funny story: At one point in the film, Garfield mentiones that he’d prefer that Vic would call him “G-Money”. The exact *MOMENT* I heard that, I instantly turned to look at my brother, as he used to have that nickname when he was younger.
Everytime Garfield speaks it takes me straight out of the film.. no one could ever replace Lorenzo Music in my eyes but they could have tried a LITTLE harder.
Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised at all if this was an original movie that they reworked to be Garfield. It's okay if it is, but I'm just saying it gives me that vibe.
Agree completely. It played like some dark villain animated thing they knew would fail, but figured if they wrapped it in a Garfield story it would sell. Just awful.
For sin 12 he says without the Italian music you couldn’t tell that they were in an Italian restaurant but the waiter is literally bringing out a pizza 💀🙅♂️🤦♂️🙏

15:03 the ugly green cat in the corner has whiskers in the correct place, implying that the others have some genetic mutation or are not cats, so either 1 more sin because of this, or one sin for each cat
The bird won't get electrocuted because it's only touching one wire, and nothing else, so power won't go though it. If it touched something else, an other wire, the ground, a giant metal thing or just something else where the power could move on to, after the bird, it would get toasted.
Garfield on cinemasins must be Tuesday
Imagine if they made it on the day before.
Good for Garfield
With lasagne not on Mondays 😅
and that's why monday was skipped
The fact that this came on a Tuesday, Garfield would appreciate that.
Good thing Cinemasins doesn't schedule posting his videos on Mondays XD
But here it was the Tuesday after a long weekend so it effectively a Monday, but worse.

Do you have any regrets? “Garfield maybe” - Bill Murray
That movie is a guilty pleasure for me and my childhood
Bill Murray as Garfield is a zillion times better than Chris Pratt.

Pretty much sums up most movies and television shows with recognisable IP characters these days.
The whole "Garfield might be a Tiger" mini-rant is why I love CinemaSins. Never change Jeremy.

0:13 I love it when the logos take up too much long time for him to rant
"Snoop Dogg is playing a cat" 😂😂😂 absolutely hilarious!
So he's not Snoop Lion anymore?
The biggest complaint for me is that they got Chris Pratt to play another charactert that makes no sense for him to play, again.
came for the Garfield sins, stayed for the Cowbell Ding counter
Speech is expression of thought, hence Odie doesn't speak.
They didn't cast Nick Offerman as Garfield. That's worth 100 sins right there.
Yeah maybe he would've been a better vision of Garfield or Ryan Reynolds
Frank Welker wouldve been better, he plays Garfield perfectly!
@@chasehunter5923 dude this is Hollywood of course they wouldn’t cast him

I don't think Jeremy knows how many things work

There's one thing different with Mondays for Garfield. Jon goes back to work.
Vic wasn't counting the times he visited, he was counting how many lasagnas garfield ate
That number is low for Garfield
3:58 he didnt do what i thought he was going to, diddy?
LOL SO MUCH PRODUCT PLACEMENT FOR OLIVE GARDEN!
You forgot Jon looking in front of him in the restaurant seeing Garfield when he was on the side of him.
I was more shocked than that impossibly electrocuted bird on a wire that I had an Old Man Lactose intolerance to playing the sousaphone.
The real sin on this video is every 5 minutes TH-cam plays an unskippable one minute of several crappy ads.
