What resistance should these read. I just replaced mine in December and now it's not actuating. Usually right after it senses you can her it doing its job down there and shifting the motor into position. Now that doesn't happen. It will agitate intermittently just for a few seconds and that's it . My book says it should read between 2000k and like 3.5k but it's reading like 1980 right now

Will a shift actuator arm move freely when out of unit? Does it have to be plugged in with power to move? I ask bc this is what we believe to be wrong with our washer. I took the old one out and the arm is frozen, does not move at all. I haven't found video yet that describes the problem we were having. The code I received was F7E1. Our agitator would pulse high speed like a blender and wad the clothes up....it would never agitate correctly, nor would it spin out.

Any load noise coming from the unit? Your error code points to the shift actuator.

Love your video...just real world...dropping the darn screw...fiddling with getting phillips head into bolt head...hehe...same maddening things that happen to all of us it seems regardless of the thousands of times we have done it...

      Not going into spin mode.

You need to hear a strong click sound before it goes into spin mode. No click or no spin when running the test, then most likely bad.

would a faulty lid lock mechinism do this as well? thank you.@@DCApplianceRepair

You should hear it click first before anything.

@@DCApplianceRepair I cannot get it to do anything at this point. I can hear a click but sounds to me like the lid locking. I did get it to fill water in test mode but that's all the further it would go. It puts water in and pumps it out in that mode but it necer agitatates or spins

Try by recalibrating the machine. You can put it in calibration mode. The tech sheet is located on the inside wall. The front part of the machine.

Do you have to enter a code when you change shift actuator for the washer to recognize it ?
