Like you I pulled away from this and came back and got it 2nd hand, a little dusty but in perfect shape. I love it, I’ll display mine shield in right hand. I’ve also got the Thor which is crazy fantastic, Love the sculpt and base. I’ve got all 3 Hulks on PO (couldn’t pass up getting a full statue and two additional busts with bases for the price), and will PO Iron Man. Great review Jeff, thank you.
Great piece! I also had it preordered but I ended up cancelling the preorder as I decided to focus on the movie pieces. Still, if I had the room, I would love to have this (and Thor, Hulk, and Iron Man 😀).
Congratulations Jeff!! Still my favourite statue that I own. Love the switchouts, and incredible Ross inspired portraits on Cap. I also love the shield on the back option, but it's tied with the pointing hand for me. I don't think I have ever continually changed the switchouts on a statue so much. Love the fact that you can also turn cap around too. I have been dreaming of this Avengers line since I first saw that unpainted Cap many years ago at the con. Unboxing Cap and Thor has been an absolute joy, and some of the best unboxing experiences I personally have had. Great to finally see Jay and LBS getting the recognition they deserve, and so cool to see this line taking off in a big way now with collectors. Jay Sia is a visionary in this business, and his passion and imagination shines through in these awesome statues. A fantastic classic style Avengers line up, that certainly reinvigorated my interest in statue collecting. I for sure won't need any other 1/3 Avenger statues after this line is completed. Bring on Iron Man and that incredible 70's inspired Tony Stark portrait next. Thor and Cap sure do look great together Jeff, it's definitely not coincidence. The fact that DC is also in great hands at 1/3 now too, is very very exciting!!!
I'm just watching these LBS reviews to get an idea of what the Wonder Woman will look like. More so with the paint apps and minor details on the costume. LBS is impressive gotta say. Unfortunate that Jay said a Black Widow concept was denied though.
Great review! I don't have a huge collaction but I do have LBS Magneto and P1 Batman Arkham Knights V7.43. To me 1/3rd is a bit overwhelming so I'm not going to continue down that path, although LBS Thanos looks phenomenal. I can't wait to see you get the Hulk and pair with the other 2.

Shield in hand is just too iconic looking not to display imo. Don't like the point as much unless he was posed faced off against a villan statue which would be really cool. Love the design of this line. I much prefer posing for a picture poses over hyper dynamic fighting poses.
These LBS Avengers statues look great together. If I had just started collecting, I would just get all 4 Avengers and their Thanos statues. That’s it. I think I would be good after that. I said I think. 😆
Mister Jeff Delaney is the first person that posted that LBS got the DC license. A Classic Alex Ross style JL. Yeah, it was that LBS DC post that made my statue year. My wallet is still angry at you about that post by the way 🤭😂. No All jokes aside. Your review of that fenomenal Captain America is the reason why people are very excited about their products. Museum pose: check. Classic vibe: check. Great portrait: check. Reasonable price: check. Great paintjob: check. That Avengers line up is looking fenomenal. Your Cap is looking stunning. Not sure who other than me was critical of the Iron Man, but I'm sure there were a few. As I mentioned, I'll get the Iron Man, but I really don't see the reason for taking the liberties with the elbows, knees, and lengths of the gauntlets and boots.
Several collectors on Statue Forum have been critical. They’re not wrong that some elements are not classic, I’m just not personally bothered by those differences.
Terrific Review. I have 2...one displayed pointing and the other shield on his back. They both look great with Thor. From what I've seen, I really don't like the under-the-torsos battery placement for Iron Man 😕
Jeff, I saw that another reviewer was critical of the XMS - LBS 1:3 Iron Man - saying it is larger than their 1:3 Cap - because Cap is actually significantly taller than Iron Man.

I'm really hoping they change the light-up feature. We need one button on the base that controls all lights on the statue. Like the Sideshow Mark 7.
