Stay frosty, my new SFM/Blender project is also TF2-related and is going to be a couple hours long! EDIT (2024-02-06): It's been a couple of days and I wanted to write a bit more about this "movie". The very generous 25000 likes compared to 340 dislikes, speaks to Your leniency and understanding, for which I'm very thankful, however, I still feel the need to say the things I'm about to say, to kind of... explain myself? I think that if I hadn't experienced the production of this movie, I would have written a rather scathing comment about it. I'm glad that I found my "visual identity" and an audience throughout making it, however, It's such a wasted opportunity because I poured tons of time and resources into making it. If I only had sat down with one of my life mentors 6 years ago, and written a coherent script, instead of half-assing it, expecting people to dismiss the obvious errors in judgment due to it being a TH-cam video, I would be able to proudly sit down and show it to both fans of TF2 and fans of movies. I can't do the latter and the former. As of now, when I skim through it, I sometimes grind my teeth at the wasted opportunities and sometimes smile with joy when I see that I have captured a meaningful emotion with my animation. If I were to rate this, comparing it to "real movies", I would give it a 3/10, all things considered. That being said, I hope that this video is an important milestone in my visual-storytelling-identity seeking process.
Especially when that same software breaks out of nowhere for a specific scene and you dont know why and how this happens until like a couple hours later.

I love that Demoman having no explosive-related charges means that prior to being a TF2 mercenary, he only used explosives legally or somehow managed to avoid being caught.

Everybody thought Tf2 was dead but then two 2 hour, full length, hella good MOVIES were made by incredible creators within a year of each other. Of course one was a psychological horror movie and the other was an action-mystery that came out in episodes, but the enjoyment is none the less for either. Keep making things like this creators!!! We really appreciate them

I'll be brutally honest here that was a pretty lame conclusion. Nuke about to end the world? Introduce a jacked character that had slim to zero mention in the plot beforehand.
Well, must say was pretty impressive to watch. Story was kinda all over the place at times with no real direction and several unfinished plot points or story beats that ended a little too quickly, no savory end. But the visuals and everything for the most part was fun and I still enjoyed what I saw. Very impressed with the voice actors in this presentation, they fit their roles quite well! The animation and style visibly improved in some ways throughout the film especially towards the end showing improvement which was great to see too!

It's likea real cinematic film, complete with having to shuffle the volume around to hear the super quiet dialogue and getting your ears blown out by stupidly loud gunfire
After 6 years in development... it was bloody worth it! Mate the dialogue and personalities in this film, especially soldier's and the green "wise" man, has me dying lmao. An absolute joy to see another passionate TF2 SFM movie, and a helluva fun watch! A beautiful mix of cartoony comedy, fighting, and TF2 shenanigans!
there is an immeasurable amount of homoerotic tension between red spy and red medic for pretty much all of the movie and it's hilarious. me and my friends just started cheering for them to kiss when we watched it and considered the medic scooping spy up at the end a good enough substitute and said it was a win.
This feels like Lawrence Kasanoff got hold of SFM and just directed a madhouse. At the same time, this is a very impressive production and I applaud the work.

I really enjoyed how the first half of the story rolled out and how the plot was contained. Took a pause from watching after all that. Decided to watch the latter half today and now I'm not sure if someone injected a questionable needle into my leg on the way home without me noticing. 7.5/10. Incomprehensible. Have a good day.
Magnificient Nine is so much fun! My brother, a life-long TF2 fan, showed it to me and I gave it a try on my own. The effort in the writing and animation and the overall movie's authenticity add up to the rewatch value. To be honest, I was confused in some parts, but this is still very impressive. The pacing is so fast, I guess that's why. Every time I thought I knew what was happening, something completely different threw everything off. Especially that ending. It was fun and funny, but I mean, wow that just ended super fast lol

Really really enjoy that spin transition at 18:06. The transfer in momentum from Scout's twirl impacting Sniper's body alongside the POV shift, really good stuff. So far, I'm really enjoying the show. The voice acting is a bit cobbled together, and it's obvious that many different people voiced the characters, but I personally like seeing something so obviously home-grown. There are some shots where lighting doesn't do the viewers a favour in terms of determining what's happening, but in spite of small things like that, it's super impressive. There's a ton of real effort and talent behind this, and its clearly evident in the animation, sets, composition, and use of sound. I have no doubts that I will continue enjoying this animation. In terms of storytelling, I am not intellectualy capable of understanding stories beyond basic themes and concepts, so I'm almost certain I'm missing out on a whole bunch of plot. But regardless, and from an artistic and aesthetic standpoint, super cool and inspiring to see such huge projects in the community

I hope we keep this TF2 movie train going, honestly seeing unique or basic plots in a hour long film with TF2 characters is extremely satisfying to watch. I don't even care if it's Sfm or Gmod just keep it going!

I hope we keep this TF2 movie train going, honestly seeing unique or basic plots in a hour long film with TF2 characters is extremely satisfying to watch. I don't even care if it's Sfm or Gmod just keep it going!

HoovyTube could NOT have done a better job with this. From start to finish, this was truly incredible. From the unparalleled quality in the animation, to the raw talent, comedy and emotion in the writing, every little detail and story element had incredible amounts of care put into it. The 9 really were… Magnificent.
