I just realized if pyro's pyrovision is supposed to make it where everything is cute and happy it's adorable that lil pootis doesn't change at all

I love how there’s little bits of Pyro around the base, whether it’s drawings they’ve made, burn marks, or notes for them, telling them not to touch or to remember something. Super cute

Im really impressed that an animator this talented managed to make 7 episodes of Lil' Pootis which actually is one of the most touching shows ive ever watched, IN 2 YEARS.

I gotta say, the idea of spy being an absent father who his mom is ACTIVELY HELPING HIM BE ABSENT is a MEAL of a concept. that's just. such a deranged thing to do and so tf2 flavor. Every time I remember it I die on the spot. What an insane thing to do. it's so good
In a way it's justified seeing how scout doesn't like spy, and I'm pretty sure he would be traumatized by seeing the fact that his pops is someone he hates
Yeah and I assume that Spy likely specifically requested that Scout's mom keep it a secret... considering that it's something she never told him for 27 years

I find it amazing how you can tell an awesome story with zero spoken dialogue and turn literally anything cute as heck. You even managed to make Heavy, Engineer, and Spy seem cute, while also simultaneously remaining stoic, humorous, and suave, respectively. Massive props.

It's interesting to see that you put real differences between the RED and BLU teams, with BLU scout being in his 30's rather than his twenties, his parents not really together again, and it seems like BLU Scout knows that BLU Spy is his dad, based on the fact that there are photos of them together on the wall. I'm Uber excited for season 2!

I still love just how different you made the scouts look from each other, I love the hair being a bit darker, I love the skin being a bit paler, and the freckles are especially cute!! I can't wait for season 2 to come out, you've really just put so much love into this series and making each character involved look and act completely different from each other.

Differences I've noticed between the two teams:
- The Blu camp is a lot colder (although we have seen it snow in the Red camp before so maybe the temperatures are opposites?)
- Blu Scout is paler, has freckles and is older than Red Scout
- Blu Scout's mother and Blu Spy separated when he was young. This means that the reason he seems more disinterested in Pootis is because he takes after his father more
- Blu Engie has a beard
- Blu Sniper has a grey streak in his hair and knows he was born in New Zealand
- Blu Pyro's face mask is more circular
- The Blu Mercs have to share bunk beds instead of having their own rooms

from what we've seen i actually kinda like how slightly different the two teams are. the blue scout wasn't in awe at seeing lil pootis and surprisingly didn't pay much mind to blootis. also it seems like spy was actually around for the blu scouts childhood but slowly over time his parents either hated him or each other. team blu seems like the kind of team that would form overly complicated plans that would lead them to victory just to immediately fail because someone messed one tiny thing up. assuming that they never win because the few canon peices of tf2 media that shows a difference between the two teams and that one shows red team always winning

@@heckermangt we see regular archmedas earlier in the series and they are a regular bird, medicmedas is like pootis, a human like bird creature, wears clothes and can walk and handle things like tiny humans, also I like that medicmedas is afraid of pyro, either because mm thinks pyro knows they want the red scout dead, or because pyro is pyro.

I just noticed that Medic has really feminine lashes when his eyes are closed. Also, at 17:01, you can see a drawing in the background that was clearly made for Engineer by Pyro. And I just love Pootis and the Tiny Desk Engineer's dynamic. Also, one of the other things that makes Little Pootis so great is all the little details. The fact that demo, soldier, and pyro are marked as wanted on the newspaper spy is reading, the wanted posters at 36:13, the posters in the background throughout the compilation, the way that pootis uses the lollipop he got in the previous episode to befriend soldier, all the post it notes, all the little references, every little detail is important. God I love these animations.
I have a pet bird the same size as pootis who enjoys cuddles, bananas and belly rubs, I watched this with her in my lap and we both were so happy to enjoy this series together, again thank you for creating this.

Also mine is broken, they're supposed to like being pet on the back and only lie down on their feet but my rolls over like a dog and asks for Belly rubs. @@animal_gal_adventures9885 I have 3 birds, for each of my siblings, my sister got one, my twin got one, and I got one. Each one mirrors their owners personality. Mine had white feathers, and my sisters has brown, my sister who was a bubbly energetic person got one that liked being cuddled and would sit in your lap, it also avoided any fights. My older sister who is an adult and is very serious got a bird who was also very serous and had an eating disorder making her not eat as much as the other two, but when one of the other birds bled she would try to drink their blood and would jump over me doing surgery on one of the birds foot to lick the blood. (The bird is fine it wasn't a serious surgery) but she still was really hellbent on tasting blood, she also bit a small chunk out of a friends eyeball when she was young which started her reputation of blood. She also ate a lot of metal and staples while we were working on her coop. Then there's mine who is white, the largest of the bunch who enjoys, banana, any food you are eating, and belly rubs, there will be my twins chicken being all polite then there's mine, sitting upside down, getting her belly rubbed. They all are very chaotic and work together to escape from the coop but they like their home and even when the front door is open they don't run away, they actually avoid going farther than the door even when we are chasing them, they refuse to leave. They're all adorable little marshmallows that all flop down on the ground and sleep in a mosh keeping each other warm in the obsoletely freezing tortures 90 degree California weather. They act like dogs more than any bird and they are also potty trained, they do not poop on you or inside. If they want to poop they will flap their wings and bock before hopping off your lap, pooping and going back to whatever they were doing. I love them and I can rant about my birds for hours and im sorry if this may be a little long. Thanks for commenting
The scene were Pootis and Medimedes see eachother for the first time, and their eyes lit up w/ the music swelling- it was the most beautiful thing I've every seen, my cold, dead heart might've grown 3 sizes bigger from that.
