    Mock-up synovial fluid for each joint would make a weird fidget toy

    Awesome video, this could honestly be used in the future for some really game-changing medical tech!

      Thanks! Many hospitals are already using this technology to print replica organs to practice surgery on. Living in the future can be pretty cool sometimes!

    Awesome. I want to include this in my medical practice!

      Lots of hospitals are employing professional versions of this technique for pre-surgery planning and patient visualization!

      @@AndrewSink do you know what software they use? Otherwise, I'll try your approach. Thanks!

      @@Tablahands I could help out with that. I do medical 3D printing and I am based in Nigeria.

      I think we'll see it more and more often as hospitals continue to adopt additive tech!

    When you were correcting the porosity did you manually fill in frame by frame or is there a less tedious method?

    Can we select specific regions that we want to catch? Like lung instead of bone?

    Awesome video , Can 3D printing be used for a healthy person who wants to increase the length of his spine? Are there damages, for example, a spinal cord

    • @AndrewSink
      @AndrewSink  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hmm, that's a great question! This style of 3D printing is used to visualize a scan; so it's not useful for implanting anything into a person.

    Unlike bone, lungs or other organs can be hollow inside. Can your software solve this?

    • @AndrewSink
      @AndrewSink  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      A) Bones aren't solid?
      B) It's not my software! You should read up on a process known as "DICOM segmentation", I think that's what you're looking for!

    • @wanderingamerica5719

      @@AndrewSink Thanks for the explanation! I read up manual of your software, there is a segmentation function. Isn't it used for this purpose?
