I am originally from India even then I have never seen this type of parwal not even in UK. interesting ! very tempting recipe, I will definitely make with normal parwal.
this is padwal(snake gourd) not parwal(pointed gourd)..you may get it in any Indian grocery shop or you may order it from ITADKA.co.uk or you may get it in any local store of Leicester city.

You can add grated carrot to the masala for a teekha meeta taste. Just a suggestion. Otherwise recipe is good

Can anyone tell what this vegetable tastes like? Is it bitter like bitter gourd? Aur something like bottle gourd (Loki)

Shouldn't we peel the snake gourd before cutting it in sections and stuffing them? The outer skin is very hard and chewy (chibbad).
It's normally edible, unless you've bought an over ripe one
