I highly recommend watching “Zitti e buoni” performance at the Eurovision final. Basically the whole Europe fell in love with them that night (and later, the whole world as well)
Yes, I would start with that one, followed by the slower tempo Torna a Casa (the music video) and/or Coraline (a version with English lyrics). I think my favorite English song of theirs is uptempo rocking For Your Love (particularly the live version on Live 1 on WDR).

They formed in 2016 in Rome and used to be buskers. In 2017 finished 2nd at X Factor Italy. This year they won Sanremo Festival and Eurovision Song Contest.

@@neobrand1845 he really ties the band together. They all have something to offer and are all talented (which is rare with bands nowadays), but Thomas’s solos and just he’s playing general is some of my favorite parts of Måneskin songs.
Yes please more of them! Their whole last album doesn't have a single skip, there are some wonderful live performances out there, that's where they really shine and I think that's a clear sign of a good rock band...
You need to watch them perform! Their energy is what makes them so great.
My personal recommendations are coralina, torna a casa, le parole lontane, zitti e buoni, moriró da ré, in nome del padre
The first three are kinda slow but still perfect and the other ones are so ROCK
And if you want something of theirs in English, For Your Love - the live version on WDR. Also, for Coraline, the lyric video is a must.

The fact that Blake mentioned Arctic Monkeys as an influence and IT IS an influence, they are such fans of AM, they always mention AM and Harry Styles in every interview lol oh Blake you should listen to their albums, they have some ballads in Italian like Coraline, Vent'anni, Le Parole Lontane or Torna a Casa that are SO BEAUTIFUL in both music and lyrics. I'm sure you'd love them!! And the bass player is Queen Victoria De Angelis 🔥♥️

The most particular thing about this band is that it is capable of mixing various musical genres in the same song, and in just 5 years and only 20-22 years of age, having achieved the same worldwide success as other historical rock bands that have employed at least 10 years of time, it makes it clear that these guys really have talent!

I honestly don’t know Damiano’s exact vocal range but I’m sure he can do that high note cause he has done higher notes, just songs such as Torna a Casa and Coraline then you will hear a higher register. I do know that Ethan, the drummer, uses Ludwig Drums tho. Also, pronounce the name as Monehskin instead of Maneskin. The name means Moonshine in danish and comes from the bassist Victoria since she’s half danish and started the band with the guitarist Thomas
the x factor performance of vent'anni with damiano changing the notes was SO good, showing off his high notes

This song is been written right after their victory to ESC in few hours against stereotypes about drugs that they were accused to take by France press. It’s something ironic, light, sarcastic. The best is yet to came with the next new album in December 🔥😎

Nice insights. If you haven’t heard Maneskin’s music, it sounds like you are in for a treat. Best young rock band in the world right now, IMHO. Artistry, energy, lyrics, great musicians, amazing live, and a phenomenal frontman. And to top it off edgy, modern, and beautiful.

This is a good way to see evolution too because the Chosen EP is pretty much a lot of the songs they covered on X Factor when they were going through such a massive period of growth aged 16-18, Il Ballo Della Vita is them trying all genre styles in their first big original release aged about 17-19, and Teatro d'Ira vol. 1 is them finding the sound that has made them so captivating to listen to this year for so many new people.
Honestly listen to their whole latest album (Teatro d’ira - Vol. I). They're absolutely incredible. MAybe also Torna a Casa from the previous one!

Would love to see you react to some more Måneskin. I personally think this is not even their best song. It sounds quite similar to their previous single I Wanna Be Your Slave. The bass player is actually a girl. Their last album Teatro d'ira vol I is mostly in Italian, with the exception of 2 songs. It's their most rock album so far. I think it will be fun for you to see how they've grown over time.

Yes yes yes for more Maneskin! Their second album- released early 2021 just before eurovision I think- Teatro d'Ira (Theatre of Wrath) vol. 1 is a masterpiece. They record playing as a band because they think the chemistry translates best that way, but it means that they sound the same live and recorded- and often end up adding a lot more variations live to give you a different experience. Shortly after eurovision they did a studio performance of I Wanna Be Your Slave (which has been reaching the top ten of charts around the world for several months) and Zitti e buoni (the song they won eurovision with) for Wiwi Jam, I think you might enjoy checking it out to see them play too and get a look at the instruments. I would love to hear your take on songs like Vent'anni or Coraline too which are a slightly different vibe. Maneskin are such a cool band, and so young that when you go through their albums you can hear them experimenting with a bunch of sounds and finding their current one. The guitarist (Thomas) was still in school when they made their first album and the drummer (Ethan) just turned 21 this week. They really burst onto the global stage with eurovision and captivated a massive audience (one day you should definitely check out their eurovision grand final performance- though I think it's only available for americans on vimeo).
