Great reaction, and I have to completely agree with you with every sentence ! Italian>French>Romanian>English>German>Polish .......... this is my perception of the musicality of these languages (I am German). German e.g. is fantastic for dark themes, in Classical Music a Wagner Opera (Ring of the Nibelungs), in Metal Rammstein, but Italian has a natural musicality and if I am correct it rhymes very well with many words, which facilitates poetry.
Maneskin is fantastic, Damiano in my opinion already a true rock star with voice.

Italy is the birthplace of modern music, the Opera is born in Italy. That why in written classical music there are a lot of Italian words: ‘adagio- allegro- andante- vibrato- ecc..’. Our tradition starts in the medieval era with written music in the Catholic Churches by brilliant monks. ( canto gregoriano). At first just vocals without instruments, then with (Monteverdi compositions are milestones). Just a little bit of History of Music for who wants to go back in time and place. Nothing comes from nothing especially in Arts. That’s why italian language and music are so close😉.
"For your love" live at "Live 1" ( German t.v) is also amazing! It's in English.. but the dedication and the passion in that song is mindblowing! And Thomas' guitarplay is soooo ❤❤❤ Check it!!

Yes, Italian is really easy for ears!
In Italian language nearly all words end with vowels, this gives it a unique sound, it's also more difficult to sing in Italian just for that reason.

Italian sounds really beautiful in songs... but before Maneskin I never knew it would sound great in rock/hard rock too 😁 La paura del buio is one of my favourite tracks of the album... love the lyrics and Damiano 's 'almost' rapping but on top of all the last part of the song....from "tu tornerai da me con l aria stanca..." and on ... amazing!

Italians always thought (until recently) that their language isn't ideal for Rock music (unlike Classical or Opera singing) - English use less vowels and in general it sounds less "sweet" than Italian - but that's perfect for Rock. Maneskin disproved all that demonstrating that any language can be modified accordingly in order to suit any genre.

That's not exactly true, there's lots of great italian rock bands from the '80s,' 90s, '00. Like Litfiba, Afterhours, Marlene Kuntz, Verdena, Zen Circus, Teatro degli Orrori, Linea 77, Io-Drama and many more. Probably some producers thought Italian was too specific for international markets, where English is dominant.

You are addressing something completely different - I've never said there aren't been great Rock bands or Rock acts in Italy (I'd put Gaznevada, Vasco, and Skiantos too - you are of a later generation...) only the fact that Italian isn't suited "naturally" for Rock music (or that have been an excuse for the lack of success abroad).
Maneskin are the first Italian rock band to have a relevant impact abroad - this is the very first strong signal that Italian language isn't a barrier to make very successful rock songs - none of the bands you've mentioned (including Vasco) had the impact of Maneskin's in the world scene.

You should do a reaction to Paperdoll - Fear of domination, an industrial metal band from Finland that doesn't have enough recognition and they have way less listeners than they deserve to have with their work.
Their music is truly unique, it's pretty heavy (at least for those that aren't so into metal), insanely melodic (so it is like the complete opposite of Meshuggah) and you can hear from the sound of their songs that they know what they're doing.
