Good Evening Steve. You are so Brave to risk first driving in the snow and rain. Doing a little bit of a Mooch along the Sea front. Blackpool has had a rather Good covering of the White Fluffy stuff i can see. I totally do agree with you, the Comedy Carpet does need a very Good Wash and Clean. It is always so Lovely to see the Tower Illuminated once again. The Weather here in Lincolnshire is Just very Cold and very Bright sunshine in the day time. It is below minus degrees centigrade. We have not had any Snow yet. Look after yourself Steve. Go and have a Hot Beverage in a local cafe with a Hot meal. Treat yourself Steve. 😃😃🤓🤓👍👍☕☕☕☕
Snow was settled with a couple of inches here near Wigan, and still is. The council didn't bother gritting the main street through my village so there was chaos this morning with cars trying to get up a hill.
Nice little video we don’t ever get snow here in Swansea of if we do it don’t stay long due to living less than a mile from the sea must be the salt in the air why we don’t get it much
Nice to see Blackpool in the snow even if it was just a little bit. I love the way you point out little things like the seagull footprints etc. Also those stone bolder seats looked nice with the snow topping on them. The beach looked kind of gloomy but at the same time nothing better than seeing a totally empty beach. It's been nothing but bright sunshine and blue skies here in Eastern England for the last four days, the snow hasn't made its way here so far thankfully.
wozas Stephen had quite a covering at the seaside there know the area well we were hit a bit here in the north east snowed about a hour really cold sir but corr a white blackpool well Mr C that warrants a surely not great video Stephen loved it sir.

It's fascinating to see your videos and see streets and places I remember from when I lived there in the 1950s. It's changed a lot since then. Hardly any cars on the roads and no modern traffic lights then. And Oxford Square was a roundabout known as Oxford Circus back then.

I think the northeastern part of USA is heavily affected by high pressure coming down from Canada. You seem to have bigger temperature extremes than we do, with hot summers & very cold winters. Our climate is a little more comparable to the Pacific Northwest.

I was disappointed to miss the snow, by the time I opened the curtains it had gone. I am one of the people who don't like the wind break in front of the Comedy Carpet but I do understand the need for it, while events like Winter by the Sea are on. Great video Steve xxx
Yes, what has happened to Helensloud&proud (Leroy) I remember when that chippy was the yellow brick road from the wizard of oz, when I was a kid. It didn't start showing here until around 11am ish, it snowed quite heave for a while but it started rain & its being washed away now
Think we stayed on Chapel St over sixty years ago when i was a kid we always stayed near Central pier. York st, Coop st ?? Stayed at the Stevonia a couple of times. Then we went up market at stayed on Albert st 😂 Think the donkeys always came down Chapel St on their way to the beach ⛱ and back home, can still hear those bells 🔔 😂. We always went to Woolworths cafe when the were dropped off. Fish and chips at Woolies always meant the weeks holiday had begun............

I remember the snow we had in 1995. No buses. Schools shut, and side streets were like ice rinks.

When I was a kid and we'd drive to Blackpool you could smell the seaside, seaweed etc. now there's nothing no smells at all.. I miss it what happened?
